Response to Amy's post: This is the guy I want to sing at my wedding. Hehe.

Relaku menunggumu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benarkah hidupku kan selama ini

Biar berputar utara selatan
Ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia

Relaku mengejarmu seribu batu jauh lagi
Tapi benarkah kakiku kan tahan sepanjang jalan ini

Biar membisu burung bersiulan
Tenanglah gelombang lautan
Ku masih setia

Adakah engkau yakin ini cinta
Adakah engkau pasti ini tuk selama-lamanya

Relaku menunggumu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benarkah hidupku kan selama ini

Biar berputar utara selatan
Ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia

During my shift on Saturday, two things happened:

1. Dan[ish] came by with his friends, and while I was bussing their table, he said, "Hi Ain.. See, I know your name!" So I smiled and laughed and said, "Yeah.. You're Dan, right?" and he nearly died of shock and demanded to know how I knew his name. Ha. Try to get one up on me? I'll get you right back, no matter how frickin' adorable you look in that scarf.

2. Daryl came back from bussing sometime towards midnight and said, "Guess what I found on the floor of LT?" Held up the dustpan to reveal a used diaper sitting on top of the rubbish pile. There was no need for prompting, I just started cackling with laughter.

'Nuff said.

Yesterday was exciting because [in chrono order]:
1. I was whistled at by a bunch of overage mat karats in a yellow car in the right lane on the PIE.
2. I was saing-ing with this Aprilia for a coupla traffic lights on the way to work.
3. I was kacau-ed by this huge bunch of dak-dak motor at the carpark after work.
4. I encountered my first-ever roadblock!
5. We bumped into another bunch of dak-dak motor at Loyang Avenue, and one of them smiled and nodded at me.

HAHA.

I was bored during lecture, of course.

Someone was trying out disguises to see if people would still recognise him.

The cool magnets at store! See them LIVE before more of them get stolen by assholic customers!

Yesterday Alfian and I went to West Coast Mac's and I had brunch. West Coast Mac's rocks. It's so different from East Coast's, that's for sure. And there was a large bunch of nursery kids, so adorable. Reminds me of the times when I used to study at BK and similar bunches would come screaming and have lunch.

ALL the other bikes at the lots were big bikes. Lawar nak mampos pulak tu. So I was saying, "Wow buat malu sey motor aku kat sini.." and Alfian rebutted, "KAU malu? How bout me? They'll be wondering, apek maner entah datang makan McDonald's."

Haha.

OMG work was so tiring yesterday, I nearly died. But people were understanding, thank God.

Dang, gots to get ready for work in awhile. This is tiring. But Dean won't let me catch a break. Takper, kasi chance, since he's leaving soon. :S

Friday, February 02, 2007

At my usual terminal in Scilib now. Haha. Not going for Stats because I read through the notes yesterday and I pretty much understand them, so yeah. Haha. Sorry aku giler.

Can't decide whether to go home or hang around after this. Yargh.

I wish it were as easy as running away. But it's not.

oooOOOooo I was taking a coupla bored photos in lecture just now, cos I was exploring the other functions of my beloved cybershot. Maybe later today or tomorrow k.

From the minute that you got my attention
I was taken and I have to mention
I was tryin' not to let it show
But I know that I wasn't gonna let you go

From the way that you came up to me
Lookin' all hot with the style that threw me
No one would've ever known
That you would be the one to take this heart and hold it

You got that extraordinary way
Got to be next to ya every single day
You do somethin' that I just can't explain
Wanna take the chance and tell you you're the one for me

Boy, I love you so
Just look in my eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
Yeah do you know that
Boy, I love you so
Look in these eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
I just want you to know

You could say anything you want to
No stress cos I understand you
We got a vibe you can't define
Want everyone to know that boy is mine

We walk by and they stop and stare
At the way you hold me when you take me there
At times I feel I'll lose control
And forget everyone but the hand I'm holdin'

Please know this:
I'll always be right here and
You don't have to look nowhere else babe
Don't think for a minute
That this love will change
Oh you should know that

Boy, I love you so
Just look in my eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
Yeah do you know that
Boy, I love you so
Look in these eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
I just want you to know

Am freezing my digits off in S10 CBLC. But just wanted to drop a note, and say that I'm NOT IN LECTURE, haha. Even though I reached school at 730 today.

Daddy picked me up from school yesterday just cos I didn't have the bike. Another sweet gesture in this week of sweet gestures. I just can't take it anymore.

Two songs, playing in my head since last night.

Wednesday, January 31, 2007

I am hungry.

Yesterday he came by at around eleven to send me home. I really don't see the rationale, since I would have had the bike otherwise, but I appreciate the gesture.

He just sat there doing nothing till we finished closing. And, thanks to Farid, I finished slightly earlier, so I joined him on the sofa as well. Thank you Dean for understanding. [Even though earlier kau bingit ngan aku, :S]

Okay I'm hungry and he's already here anyways.

[I finished lab early, and it's the same lab as Lonerguy, AND the cute guy from last week's lab pun ada! Rocking or what?]

Why is he so nice to me?

Monday, January 29, 2007

"But why are they following meeeee...???" I wailed.

"Because you're wearing shorts--and they're men!" he replied.

I nearly died of laughter.

[Two different police cars ended up trailing me. It was weird, not to mention unnerving. So I was wondering why.]
Photos first!

Nanti bleh bebual.

Hanom and I at MEGA BITES [haha], and no, we didn't pakat to wear the same colour.
My baby with a rusty pipe.
St. James. And no, Atikk, I do NOT look naked.
More St. James. Happy birthday Sala.
Yes, the pink-haired troll I do NOT recognise.

Daddy came to store after Saturday closing, and we all ended up having supper together. Seafood, yummy! The Newton uncle is really nice. But I insisted on talking to him in English. Thank you Naz for being nice to Amin. Haha.

Farid was.. More himself than I've ever seen him before. Twice as giler, twice as kecoh, twice as funny. Videos, for orang-orang yang nak tengok, available upon request.

Yesterday evening I went out with Daddy again. Esplanade, MSQ, Suntec, and the ECP.

Happy when I'm with him, so I've decided to stop caring about the logic or morals behind this.

Friday, January 26, 2007

The guy next to me is talking to himself and therefore thoroughly pissing me off.

I miss my boyfriend, sort-of-kind-of.

It turns out that R1 guy was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend. Oops. Sorry too late.

GUESS WHO ADDED ME ON FRIENDSTER!
Okay sorryla I know I said I was over him and everything, but like I said to Nat, a residual crush-feeling lingers.

[Sorry I'm totally random, and people who know me better will realise that I skipped all the bad stuff, because you know, I'm an escapist.]

Other than that, St. James was a blast.

Just now I felt like a baby or something because I booked a comp at the Central Lib, and when I got to the terminal there was this ASSHOLE OF A GUY sitting there who refused to acknowledge that I'd booked the comp, and stubbornly tried to log in himself. So I went to the CBLC guy, and he and another guy went to the terminal, and the offender was chased away. WAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.

Tulah, nak curik computer orang. Baling helmet ni kat kau baru tahu.

Tuesday, January 23, 2007

I am so tired.

It's not like I did much. I didn't even go out, although I was tempted to ask Dodol out on the phone. He sounded like he wanted to go out too. But I resisted. And slept early. And omg I'm still sleepy. And I tersadared at 245 a.m. for odd reasons unknown to me.

The day hasn't been terrific or anything, but I count my blessings. That nice guy from lab still talks to me, haha. So cute.

Anyways. I want this tshirt. Nice! *jumps around*

the advisors

Sleepysleepysleepy.

I bought a Happy Meal yesterday because the featured toy was a troll with pink hair from Trollz. Now, Trollz is one of my favourite cartoons, but I don't know who this troll with pink hair is. I've never seen her on TV.

One day someone should open a fast-food restaurant that's the antithesis of McDonald's. You know, with Small Macs and Triple Cheeseburgers and McBlands and my personal favourite, the Sad Meal. *jumps around somemore*

Ohyeah been wanting this tshirt too.

perpetuate the stereotype

The other time this semi-cute guy walked into store wearing something that looked like it. So on Mat's prompting, I asked him, "Is that Threadless?" But it turned out it wasn't, and he'd bought it in Chatuchak. [Ahhh, Chatuchak. Memories.] He said the label says Playtwo or something. Hmm. Interesting. Threadless copycats abound.

Well. Sorry for crapping. Boring la, all these breaks.

Sunday, January 21, 2007

I don't normally do this, but

I would like to fuck upside-down the driver of SGL749C.

Thank you for swerving into our lane, without even signalling or bothering to check behind you, and therefore nearly killing us, if he hadn't braked in time. Itu pun terscrape depan sikit. And my heart was going at the same speed as the bike, I think. Takper. Just watch out. Too bad tadi motor baru, so takleh kejar. But just wait la. And don't watch out for a blue KR. Wrong colour yea. '

Otherwise, had another great day with Daddy. At Vivo. Whose features I finally got to see properly. Yayy.

Saturday, January 20, 2007

So anyway, today didn't start off so great but it was terrific after that. Met Hanom for lunch--a really long, drawn-out one with dessert-dessert skali, plus the cute PeterPan guy. Haha. After that I decided not to go for stats, as usual, and we both went to Atikk's place and hung out for a coupla hours.

SO COOL.

Then I gave Atikk a lift to her workplace and went to meet Daddy. So much for telling Fiddy that I was tired and was gonna go home and sleep, because I ended up hanging out with Daddy and his friends all over Orchard. I swear, all his friends are cute. I am not kidding.

JunkFood tees are the new love. But he wouldn't let me buy even one. In fact, he wouldn't let me buy anything. Cos he said I've spent enough for one month. And he told me to wait till next month. Lucky that, cos if not I think I would have spent easily a coupla hundred dollars.

Next month.. Still waiting..

I was really jealous though, cos Hairul and Ahmad and Isnoor were buying things left and right. Hairul got the coolest Globe wallet, it has a cool removable tempat-taruk-important-cards. NAKKKK. And only 29 bucks, too. Dang.

Hung out till eleven-plus, then he "sent" me home. Haha. I would call it a waste of petrol, but I guess he would call it "running-in".

Friday, January 19, 2007

In Science Lib now. This is like my second home. I'm forever here, surfing and printing stuff. I bet the CBLC people think I'm poor and takder computer kat rumah. Haha.

I'm even using the exact same terminal I used yesterday, and it actually remembers all my login usernames and the websites I visited!

Pretty fucking cool.

I am bored. I know I should be doing something constructive, like catching up on the 7549275 hours of lectures that I missed in these first two weeks of school. But I can't do it, I just can't! Haha. The only productive thing I did today was to email the Chem department for a practical slot. And of course, print notes. My whole life consists of printing notes. And then not using them.

I'm also hungry. Baru makan five hours ago whatttt.. Oh and just now in lecture, I was craving the lightly salted chips from store. Remind me to steal a bag tomorrow.

Traffic today was better than yesterday, even though I left the house later this morning. Weeeeiiirddd.

Anyway. BC tomorrow! Finally! Wahahaha.

Okay, they're like taking forever to print my stuff so let's just forget it.

Thursday, January 18, 2007

I went to ASPhoon after class just now because Amin baru angkat motor. I got there without getting lost, that's really something to be proud of! It turned out to be right opposite the old Woodsville, which I've definitely been to before, although a coupla years back, of course.

It looks a little different from mine, but nice plate number. After that I had to lead the way to the nearest petrol station [which turned out to be Caltex, unfortch. Nice restrooms though. Those ads weren't exaggerating!], and after that to his place in Yishun.

Picked up Arif, and we just hung around a bit before they "sent" me home. Haha.

Anyway. Random photos.

[I don't know what to say, except that this isn't the first time I've wasted tens of dollars before.]

Overall, a shitty day. The only thing that kept me from deliberately getting into a rabak accident was that phone call from him.

<3

[Shhh jangan bilang orang!]

Tuesday, January 09, 2007

It's wet and cold outside and I'm at home why? Because I stupidly left my POS card at home, so I had to go back and get it before I go to work later. And I'm not going for my 2 p.m. class because it's raining now and I'm still tired from yesterday.

Don't ask what I did.

Been enjoying a week of fame at work because my face is pasted on the espresso machine. Haha.

Friday, January 05, 2007

Yesterday wasn't such a great day.

In fact, it hasn't been a great year, and it's only just started.

It wasn't any specific thing la, it's just an accumulation of a bunch of unidentified annoyances. As I was saying to Farid. Who immediately seized upon my usage of the phrase "unidentified annoyance" and claimed it to be the source of his pasrah-ness too.

Farid is giler. But beginning to understand him a little more each day. You see, even hot-as-hell guys have their problems. And they aren't too different from the ones normal civilians like me face.

Thank you Naz for listening. <3 Naz.

After work I was feeling completely dissatisfied and unhappy, so I went down to St. James to meet Dayah and Zahdan. Itu pun macam half-hearted. Partly cos I didn't know how to get there. And it was one of those unfortunate days where I didn't bring my street directory cos I didn't think I was going out after work. So I followed my vague recollection of how the company cab got to Vivo, reasoning that it's pretty hard to get lost in Singapore anyway, and omg I found myself at St. James without having to make a single U-turn!

It was nice. They didn't even check my ID, which I thought was cool. Haha. And the crowd was pretty alright too. Except for this manjen dude, who, although cute, was trying too hard and ended up being just creepy.

Friday, December 29, 2006

My life hasn't been as boring as the lack of posts seems to suggest--I've just been malas to blog.

Yesterday night I went clubbing with Dayah, Az and Aliyah, and Dayah's friend, who was bringing a guy friend of hers. I nearly died when I realised it was Yazid. Haha.

We went to Attica, got bored with the crowd [well, some of us anyway] and switched to dbl o instead. Haha. WHERE someone pinched my arm within five seconds of entering the dancefloor, then I realised it was Naz! So cute la si giler tu.

Had fun and all, but I was missing my baby.

But Attica was a nice first. We had to wear the most adorable masks to get into Attica Too. And there was a singular cute guy. Tu je.

masquerade!

Thursday, December 28, 2006

I was at the DBS autolobby at work today, doing some ATM tinkering, and there were these two really cute--for once!--[malay] CISCO dudes, just doing their thing. Omg and when one of them walked away for awhile, the taller one holding the bags stuffed with money looked right at me and smiled! I completely died and resurrected on the spot. SO HOT.

oooOOOooo and yesterday in company cab home, there was this cute guy from OF. All tall and dark and handsome, like that Borders guy. UNFORTCH, he didn't talk to me, although he did sit next to me [not having any other choice, obviously].

Well. Gots to go to sleep.

Monday, December 25, 2006

Today was cool cos I woke up at 6 p.m. when Dodol called. Haha. And we went to catch Eragon at TM, with dinner at SB-TM before that. Plus it was all his treat cos konon birthday aku, haha!

Loves hanging out with Dodol, he's really loads of fun.

Oh yes and I got my new phone, wahoo!

Sorry, been a long time since I blogged, so I'm still trying to get back into it.

Sunday, December 17, 2006

190 on my baby.

Just imagine that.

I went out with Boy Riz yesterday night. I went to Lau Pa Sat, all by myself, and I didn't get lost, not once!

After that we went to Changi Village for nasi lemak, and I nearly died of boredom pasal dier bawak at 80 all the way. Haha. So when we reached Changi aku sound dier sikit ah. Oooh and I bumped into Wackygal there too! At long last we meet in person huh? So cool.

Sooo, lepas aku da sound him, from Changi to Cine, he went all the way up to 170 sial! Aku macam grabbed him so tight, dier pun terperanjat. Dier giler, I swear! We exited at Stevens Road, and at the red light infront of SJI there was macam a whole bunch of dak-dak motor. Maybe it was a good thing bukan aku yang bawak, cos then it'd attract a lot more attention. Scary.

Well, unfortch, the 430 show was sold out at Cine, so we went back downstairs and chilled kat SB-OB [?]. Which has a toilet! I didn't realise. Haha. Anyway we left at around six, and we went back by CTE, so on our way to Newton Circus, there was this other bike that step tanak kalah ngan kiter. But they went by PIE la, so when we saw them kat PIE later, wow abeh nak blow-blow!

So si Riz aper lagi kan, he perah giler babi ah! I was just macam dying behind. And it was already six, so there were more cars on the road and stuff. Abeh si giler ni, swerving and banking away. Mampos aku. Turned out the guys on the other bike were his friends. And they recognised him by his helmet, so that's why they were macam racing with us.

190! We were going at 190! I bet other road users were like, Kau si budak P-plate ni giler sak..

Saturday, December 16, 2006

Just a quick one, because I really need to get a coupla hours sleep before I meet Hanom at noon later.

I'm sure we'll have loads to talk about, which is why I'm not giving it a miss, even though the timing's a bit unearthly for me.

My body clock is so out of whack. Balik pagi, tido LEPAS subuh, bangun lepas zuhur. Wonder what'll happen when school starts.

But really, I digress. I was at POS today [as usual], and being me, while serving the customer, I was also checking out the cute guys further down the line, and trying to speed up my transaction so that I can serve them in turn. Haha. So there was this particular cute guy I was checking out, but I was macam busy serving the customer before him. Then he caught my eye and smiled. And I realised that I know him! Well, actually, I only know him because he used to come by a lot and berasmaradana with his girlfriend, but they were always really friendly to me, especially him.

And even while I was serving the lady before him, he greeted me with, "Biler nak belanja air ni?"

OMG. Why did he say that?

Yeah it didn't end there. I told him, "Biler tak busy boleh belanja ah.." and he was like, "Ah, belanja lah.. Chocolate danish ke.." and gestured vaguely to the pastry case. He told me he works at Zara Vivo, oh and I did test him by sampuking, "Your girlfriend takder?" and he unabashedly replied, "Tak, dier kerja.." but continued being all whatever, asking me if I was working till closing, etc.

And I happened to be the one to hand off his drink, and he did that scrunchy-eyes thing at me!

Ya Allah. The thing that throws me is the fact that he was flirting with me at all. This was definitely our first real conversation, and First Real Conversations don't usually go like that. And you know, I'm cool. It would be perfectly cool and exciting if he were just another run-of-the-mill cute guy, but he's a guy with a girlfriend, so macam weird.

Well. Prolly the most interesting to happen today, so yes, I've been having a boring life.

Thursday, December 14, 2006

I'm beginning to like doing closing. If you do it really quickly, you can sit around on the sofas and chill while waiting for the tak-guna cleaners to finish their work. I can't believe how bloody long they take. Seriously. If you take longer than I do, it means you're slow.

After work I sat around with Dean, while waiting for the cleaners and/or his cab. And I did so many useful stuffs! Rearranging the retail wall [slightly], rearranging the POS area, trying to convince him to get another chair for the back room, and talking to him bout lots of nonsense, one of which was the sexuality status of the partners. HAHA.

I like the feeling of not having to rush.

Today Rin slapped my butt for fun, and then decided that she loves it [my butt] and so now she squeezes it for hours at a time. [Okay, no, but for a really long time anyway.] Plus Dean started calling me "Duck", for reasons unknown to me, but which I suspect has something to do with aforementioned incident.

Oooh just now I was parking [very cautiously, as usual] at the open carpark at work. After that I was doing whatever merepek-meraban that I usually do after parking, and one of those annoying don't-worry-I'm-not-selling-anything[-but-actually-I-am] people datang menyebok. So by the time I shook him off and everything, I was slightly disoriented. Worse when a GSX-R came by and decided to park at the spot one bike next to mine. He kept looking at me, it was sooooo off-putting! So I quickly stuffed in my parking coupon and left. Five steps away, I realised I left my key in the ignition, BUAT MALU, so I had to go back and take it out, and he was still looking!

Embarrassed in front of a GSX-R!

I'm with Amy on the live performances thing.

She's amazing, she really is.
I think it's interesting how, even though I'm having a break from school, and my workplace is in the heart of town, and I have a bike, I still haven't gone clubbing. I swear MoS misses me.

But anyway, it doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything besides work. It does mean that when I have days off, I wander around the house feeling useless and bored, with a touch of moodiness. Until finally people decide to get off their butts and ask me out.

Today, however, after my initial phase of useless boredom, STILL no one asked me out, so I took Baby out after maghrib and went to store to pick Nat up. I feel bad pasal it seems like I'm always hogging Baby. And dah terlanjur kat situ, I could run a coupla errands--buy my brother's birthday present and get myself a calendar/book.

Went to Topman for the present, where I had a semi-hard time deciding between two really hot jackets. In the end I plumped for the black one. It is so hot, I swear. I'm really proud of myself for buying it, haha. And no, contrary to popular belief [*glares at Nat*], I'm not buying it so I can "borrow" it all the time. It really is for my brother.. But let's just say I'm living vicariously through him. If I can't have a boyfriend to buy Topman stuff for, then I guess buying it for my brother is the best I can get.

After that was Borders, where I wanted to get The Book of Fairytales but it was shittily only in hardcover, and I didn't have the thirty-five bucks required to get it, so I settled for Lolita instead. Actually there's a whole bunch of books I've been wanting to get, but you know, books cost so much these days, I really can't afford to get too many of them.

Weird, isn't it? They want us to read more, then why make books so expensive? The library only has that many books, you know.

I'm dying to plunge into my novel, but maybe I should save it for a good reading day, like Saturday. Oh, what to do, what to dooooo..

I parked at the [very slope-y] LT carpark today, and when I went back upstairs to go home, there was a bunch of mats gathered at the bikes about two bikes away from Baby. Obviously, when they spotted me, semua toleh tengok ah. But it was like so embarrassing, so I completely avoided looking in their direction at all. When I was kickstarting, semua tengok. Nasib baik I managed to get it first time. Embarrassing y'know. What if I dropped the bike or something? I'd never show my face in public again. Thankfully everything went smoothly, so I left promptly, and that was the end of that.

Monday, December 11, 2006

I had a near-accident while driving for the second time today. I hate not knowing how I'm going where I'm going, I guess. Makes it easier for me to panic. But anyway, I think my sister forgives me, Alhamdulillah, and she says I need more practice. Yup. So I still had to drive back from Lau Pa Sat.

Yeah but I suppose that was enough excitement for one day. The rest of it was spent sleeping and watching TV, as usual.

Sunday, December 10, 2006

I'm sick.

Beginnings of a sore throat. Just as well I'm not going out, I guess. [Actually I'm just trying to console myself. So work with me here.]

Hehe just now after work, Nat and I were walking towards the Wheelock toilet, and I was still in dresscode, pulling on my white sleeves. And this mat who was walking past us apparently [because it was Nat, not me, who overheard him] said to his friend, "Aku suker pompan pakai gitu.." while looking straight at me! So I immediately concluded, "That means dier suker aku!" *kembanggg*

Haha.

Yea anyway after that we went to Topshop [albeit with a detour or two] for my birthday shopping spree. And to collect my beautiful brown pants. I tried on the party dress I was salivating over the other time, and it more or less fit, BUT I guess I'm too short, so it looks weird, PLUS the bodice part is weird and squashes my boobs. Takyah sua. Well. $199 saved.

I did, however, get a pair of grey shorts, two of the same back-slashed tshirts in different designs, a cute black shirt that I already have in purple, and a long-sleeved top/dress. After the birthday discount, it came up to $252.

Two hundred and fifty-two freaking dollars. Plus a bunch of points racked up on my FFF card, and the Christmas storedvalue card, and now I have fifty more free dollars to spend at Topshop [or Topman, or Dorothy Perkins, if you want to nitpick]. BY CHRISTMAS.

Or I could use those fifty bucks to contribute towards buying a hot shirt from Topman for my fictional boyfriend. Then I can start building up that collection of clothes for my fictional boyfriend, like I wanted to. Haha.

[Ow I banged my forehead against the fridge door just now and it hurts like balls! I swear the fridges at work hate me, they're always attacking me. Baik forehead, back, arm, front, and even the back of my head from when YZ accidentally shoved the fridge door closed into me.]

Can't find my camera, so no photos of the spoils. However, other photos..

Almost all the photos of me and Baby.

I had sooooo much fun on the 7th! LOVES the reindeer ears, and coincidentally, a hot guy working at Topshop was wearing the same thing! Clockwise from Nat would be Naz--most adorable manager ever--then Hafez--guess his age--and Ophe--fellow POS partner.

LOVE this photo. There's macam a halo of light around me. So cool kan? And that's me in my natural, unsmiling, muka-nak-tembak-orang element.

Friday, December 08, 2006

I'm so bored. Baru first day off. But when I work, I'm tired. Can't seem to strike a balance.

But proud of myself cos I've been a good girl the past week. Tuesday I went straight home after work cos I was so bloody tired. Wednesday I hung out at Changi Beach with Wai and Dino [who look much less weird than their names suggest]. Dah lama tak main buai! So fun! And yesterday I went to eat at Simpang with Muz and his very-caustic friend.

And oh God yesterday's Christmas Open House was SO BLOODY FUN!!! They assigned me to MBR, for some reason. Maybe they were worried I would berpeluh rabak in the other positions. Well, MBR was a blast. Ophe was at SBR so we were having a lot of fun giggling, running around in our antlers, and posing for photos.

Loves the antlers, they're macam so cute. And speaking of cute, no, there were no cute guys. Boring sey. I wonder where they all ran away to. But a couple of them came by after 7 la.

Ooooh and on Wednesday I had my first attachment. I went to Lido for like three hours. Haha nasib baik da kenal Rizal, else I'd be quite takut-takut. But omg it's macam so boringly un-busy at Lido! Which I still think is weird because I mean like, shouldn't we be getting the same kind of crowd? Or maybe people just don't like the takeaway type of service, and those who do don't feel like going up five storeys to get it.

But because it was unbusy, I got to CDR easily with people, when before aku macam malas. So I was like making four drinks for this lady, and while she waited I talked to her about her drinks, whipped cream, and how she's diabetic now so she can't have it anymore, her kids and how they love watching movies, and of course I told her about the open house.

And before she walked away she was like, "Oh by the way I didn't catch your name.." and I nearly died! So I told her, and she was like, "So if I go down to across the road you'll be there?" Wow. How fun. It's a nice warm feeling when people ask for your name.

It was supposed to be the greatest day of my life, the last day of exams.

After school we took the train back to Pasir Ris. The most adorable 2-year-old girl was in the train, chattering away in semi-baby-talk to her maid and her "jiejie"s [me and Nat]. Ahhhh.

*Tick-tick-tick*

Loves it when babies are not scared of me.

Anyways, went to TSP to get the rear brake fixed. Basically, they just changed the brake hose. From the pretty silver one to the stock black rubber one, boo. But Steven didn't charge us for it at all, how sweet. And best of all, the mechanic was SO CUTE LA!

I'm not kidding. When I started riding, cute mechanics didn't even cross my mind as a possibility. Least of all manjen mechanics with strong arms, soft brown hair, and the sweetest smile.

And no, it wasn't just me. Nat agreed that he's cute too! HAHA. Who knew that I could actually stop being shallow for one second and look past the dirt and grease and lack of communication?

Will definitely be looking out for that smile the next time I go back to TSP. Maybe I'll invent a new problem each month for him to deal with. Haha. Kidding.

Oh and by the way, no, it wasn't the greatest day of my life, the last day of exams.

Saturday, December 02, 2006

I went out again last night! Or this morning, if you prefer. I sat for like two hours outside Mac's, until Zack finally finished work.

Loves riding with Zack!

Anyway, it hit 1000! Time for mini-celebration, Hanom! *jumps around*

Heyness!

I just got home, haha. Went for a play, Jack and the Beansprout with my sister and her ELDDS charges. Haha. And Dodol, whom I invited at the last minute. It was fun! The play was hilarious. Very colourful and costumey with literal sets, cos it's targeted at kids. But banyak innuendos also lah, so it was funny to me too.

After the play, there was this girl who aleh-aleh wanted to take a photo with me. Before that she was macam smiling at me for some odd reason. Lepas tu, dah amek satu gambar tak cukup. She made Dodol take another one. Turns out she's adik Khairul. Haha. Although why she would need two photos with me is still beyond my comprehension.

Wow I really missed Dodol, he's so much fun la.

I had my first real drive just now. From Yuying to Simpang. And Dodol had the honour of being my shotgun passenger for my first drive! Haha. So weird, while my sister sat in the back. But it was fun. Couple of close shaves at Simpang though. Now I don't think I'll ever get the car unsupervised. Kalau riding boleh khayal sikit, kalau driving jangan harap ah. One glance at a cute mat and I go completely off course.

And yes, I'm a barefoot driver.

Simpang was great. A smattering of cute guys here and there. Loves my cute guys. Haha.

Remember my theory about being too psyched-up about something, and how it'll disappoint you in the end?

I was right.

He remains adorable, though, as you can see below:

cute kan?

Calvin [Bill Watterson] said, "There is not enough time to do all the nothing we want to do."

Calvin is right. It pretty much sums up how difficult studying has been for me lately. Haha.

(+)
I was just remembering what Hanom said about her profile views on myspace.
"I can't wait till it hits 1000! I'm gonna have a mini-celebration!"

Haha. Actually, you know what? Me too!

Less than 24 hours to Fifi!!!

And I had the bestest time last night, gi rounding with my new friend Zack. SUPER FUN! Nak lagi!!! Can't wait till the exams are over so we can do it again. *jumps around*

I love it when they try to get intimate
Even though they know i really ain't into it
(You're not into it)
I'm not into it
I already know their game and I've been through it
See I buy my own bags, my boots, my jeans
Wear La Rok with my Rebel Yell underneath
You wanna step to me
Said you got a long way 2 go
Rock wit me now

Hook:
Claim that you're so hot and you say you got skills in the bedroom
You try to flirt when you're so not
Had a chance you still never come through
You say you wanna come see me
Cos you know your girlfriend wanna be me
I'ma tell you why you can't
Said you got a long way 2 go
Say you wanna love me

Chorus:
Wanna love me
Wanna touch me
Think twice cos you got a long way 2 go
Don't know how to act
You better fall back
It's like that cos you got a long way 2 go
It's not that deep
Take it easy
You wanna please me
Got a long way 2 go
I'm a bad girl
You wanna get close
Ease up cuz you got a long way--

I love it when they try to get scandalous
Even though they know they really can't handle it
(They can't handle it)
They can't handle it
Try and take me out to dinner I cancel it
If you really wanna know me first of all
You should never try to get too personal
Cos I meant it when I said
That you got a long way to go

Hook:
Claim that you're so hot and you say you got skills in the bedroom
You try to flirt when you're so not
Had a chance you still never come through
You say you wanna come see me
Cos you know your girlfriend wanna be me
I'ma tell you why you can't
Said you got a long way 2 go
Say you wanna love me

Chorus:
Wanna love me
Wanna touch me
Think twice cos you got a long way 2 go
Don't know how to act
You better fall back
It's like that cos you got a long way 2 go
It's not that deep
Take it easy
You wanna please me
Got a long way 2 go
I'm a bad girl
You wanna get close
Ease up cuz you got a long way--

Bridge:

Yessah!!! Two days and one hour to Fifi!!!

Wednesday, November 22, 2006

Threadless is here! Yay!

And only three more days to Fifi!

And I didn't get an ounce of studying done today, boo.

oooOOOooo and I really wouldn't mind berkenalan-ing with the blonde no-mud-guard mat from my carpark. =D
"One of these days shall we spend time 2gether?"

Macam so cute. Anyway. I'm very proud of myself cos I finally made my first legal download!!! TOtally. I got Cassie's Long Way 2 Go, which i adore. Love the music video too. Macam terasa sikit. Haha.

But actually this whole legal-downloading business is very annoying. Maybe not in the US la, but in Singapore the available downloads are lagging by months! So I still can't get, say, Beyonce's Irreplaceable, or Frankie J's That Girl. And it's not like I haven't tried the US sites, like Napster or WalMart. But they won't even let you sign up in the first place, so there's no point trying.

I'm hungry. And I had big plans to call McDelivery, but now it's raining, and I don't want the abang2 McDelivery to get wet [haha], so I'll just starve.

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Just wanted to announce [to Hanom, mostly] that I'm feeling much better. Because.. Ohwell Hanom, you'll prolly hear about it on Saturday.

Yes, Saturday! Fifi's party is now only four days away! I am SO crazy with anticipation, it's not even funny. [Of course, my theory is that if you're really psyched up about something, it usually ends up disappointing you in the end. But I can't help it!]

I LOVE this song.

The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by
Eye to eye, they solemnly convene to make the scene
Which is the name of the game, watch a guy watch a dame on any street in town
Up and down and over and across, romance is boss

Guys talk "girl talk", it happens everywhere
Eyes watch girls walk with tender lovin' care

It's keepin' track of the fact watching them watching back
That makes the world go 'round
"What's that sound?" each time you hear a loud collective sigh
They're making music to watch girls by

Guys talk "girl talk", it happens everywhere
Eyes watch girls walk with tender lovin' care

It's keepin' track of the fact watching them watching back
That makes the world go 'round
"What's that sound?" each time you hear a loud collective sigh
They're making music to watch girls by

I told you Gold 90FM rocks.

"Tuhan nak bagi calon yang lebih baik!"

Oh God seriously. I give up.

Saturday, November 18, 2006

Just felt like I should update, since it's been a couple of days.

STILL crazy-anticipation about Fifi's birthday party, which is now one week away! [Also crazy-anticipation about other events, which shall remain unnamed.]

Yesterday was melayu.com.sg. I thought Pipi was SO FUNNY la. Or maybe it's just his face. Haikal was funny too, but then again, Haikal is always funny, on and off the stage. Atikk's favourite [married] theatre activist [or whatever you call them] was in the audience. He's so cool. And of course, Greenguy. Nat is amazing, I swear. She recognised him even in the dark! Respect ah girl!

At Connaught Drive where we exited from the carpark, there was a bunch of entah-aper mats, and I shouted, "Hi budak-budak!" as we rode past. Aku giler. Loves to spot cute guys while riding. Hey, at least I don't whistle at them. So uncivilised.

Finally we paid store chalet a visit. Dead, though. As in, the rest of the chalets. Where are the cute mat neighbours I was expecting? Well anyway I watched most of Tokyo Drift, FInally, and now I have a mad urge to learn drifting. [And sliding. Tapi tu lain cerita ah.]

Well, nak eat a late lunch now. [Even though I already had an early lunch, HAHA.]

Wednesday, November 15, 2006

Guess whose birthday barbecue Hanom and I just got invited to?

Well, you see, Hanom and I went to BC today cos we haven't been there since 30 Ramadhan/1 Syawal [malam Raya lah]. We met at like one, and Hanom stepped up to make the order as usual. After she ordered, Fifi told her he was having a bbq for his birthday, so would we both like to come?

She came back grinning after that.

Later, he scribbled an official invitation on the back of an order chit, and got the new guy to pass it to us.

SO COOL. And exciting. He also asked us to bring along our friends, in case we feel left out, so siaper2 nak ikot, please inform Hanom or me yeah? =D

We're gonna get him something from Topman, which makes it even more exciting because I've always wanted to get a guy something from Topman. Yessahhh.

I can't believe he invited us. [His girlfriend--I'm pretty sure he has one--will prolly be there, though. Yargh. But in such a case, I'm sure he has hot, single mat friends.] I feel so wanted and included now! Haha.

Yayyy!

[Ohyes, he's turning 26!!! Tua kan??? Everyone was telling me that he's prolly younger than us, well nyahnyah to all of youuuuu! Hehe. And he dyed his hair back to blonde, yay!]

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

I don't know about you, but it's depressing being alone in the Science Library during mugging peak period. [Except for cute Korean-lookalike guy sitting to my right.] I mean, it's great during normal times, cos the place is like empty and you have it all to yourself. But--sigh--it's just horrible now.

[*newsflash* =D I just got an unexpected call from the man I call "Daddy". I've decided to just admit how giler and a sucker-for-punishment I am, by admitting that I'm still hung up on him.]

Where was I? Ohyes, Science Library. Haha. Well yeah. It's shitty. At least being alone at natlib is cool. Kat sini nak tengok aper? [Aside from aforementioned cute guy, of course.]

If you can't tell, I finally hit 3000-words! 3447 words, to be precise. But I'm so malas to lug everything all the way to Physics block and look for him, so I'm just gonna wait for lecture. Which I'm not attending, I think, but what the hey.

Off to hand in lab report, and maybe later I'll be back with more somethings about nothing!
Now I'm rewarding myself for hitting the 2000-word mark. 1000 more to go! [Well, technically, 2000, but I'm giving myself a break here. There's really no way a human should be expected to write 4000 words on something she never had a clue about, in less than 24 hours. But it is my fault, so I'll shut up now.]

I'm in the mood for Christmas!

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmastime in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas
Children laughing, people passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmastime in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day

Strings of street lights even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures
Hear the snow crush see the kids rush
This is Santa's big scene
And above all this bustle you hear

Silver bells
(The corner Santa Claus)
Silver bells
(Is busy now because)
It's Christmastime in the city
Ring-a-ling
(It fills the winter air)
Hear them ring
(You hear it everywhere)
Soon it will be Christmas day
- Silver Bells

So anyway, I passed. [Eh but it's not as ecstasy-inducing as the 2B one.]

I got the SAME tester, Asis! He's like the nicest tester ever. You really don't have to remember the test route cos he'll tell you everything, he'll even tell you when to switch to centre lane, and when to stay in the lane, and all. He just rocks.

At the end he was like, "Banyak.." and I was like, Shit, Banyak mistakes? and he continued, "..improvement eh.. I still remember I took you the last time.. Bagus.."

TOtally! *jumps around*

To think it was macam raining before I left, and I was not in the greatest mood, etc. oooOOOooo but SSDC was fun, when I turned in, there was this riding instructor who smiled at me and told me not to look at the handlebars. Haha. And the Super Four guy from the last time asked if I was going for lesson or test. Loves my friendly fellow riders. HAHA.

Not to mention the cute mats around. So gonna miss them now. No more SSDC. No more CDC. For the next year, at least. Haha. Kalau panjang umur.

Well I was just rewarding myself for hitting the 1000-word mark. Byeee.

Tuesday, November 07, 2006

Aku giler. It's the middle of lab [which I haven't finished] and I'm sitting here blogging. I really think scary 2111 woman is gonna chase me down. So I better make this quick.

Actually I'm waiting for my reflux to be done. But saper tahu, maybe it exploded in my absence or something?

Haha.

Well, am gonna get kicked out of school anyway. And almost died this morning, SO not kidding. But it was partly my fault, so I shan't complain.

Pay's in! Time for Topshopppppp! Gahahaha. Aku giler. [Eh that's the second time I said that!]

Lapar, too. Wants Turkey Cranberry Christmas Sandwich! Yums! Can't wait to go store later then. Kalau takder, Lido. Kalau lagi takder, OP. Kalau MASIH takder, Wisma. If not, ValleyPoint la jawabnyeeerrr. Zat, here I come!!!

Okay I should leave now.

Saturday, November 04, 2006

Am sleepy like balls, but I'll just wait for subuh anyhows.

Lalalala. I thought work was fantastic today. Despite some POS-related hiccups. HAHA. Don't ask. And loves the fact that Noel is becoming merepek. Haha.

It's nice to know that some customers remember me. Even if they're macam, young, and suka memotek depan-depan counter.

Bumped into Zahdan who was at BK with his army buddies. Two of whom are really cute. Haha. Ohwell. oooOOOooo and one of Mat's cute friends was at store, he's really good-looking la! Finally, there was this CCD who looks kinda like what I think Lonerguy-lookalike looks like [not having seen him in person]. Too bad dier ada matair. Worse, too bad matair dier manjen.

I hung out at store after work, pasal macam hati berat to leave. Then I went to the Wheelock toilet. Where the guard first marah-marah aku for just walking in without macam, telling him what I was there for. Okay, marah-marah takper, aku faham. But then he continued talking!!! About Singapore's past turmoil, about the shitty agency guards, about mats and minahs [although he didn't use those exact words], about his FAMILY! Ya Allah. I was like standing there, hoping I wouldn't have to pee again. Finally at 245 he got a call to standby for his next station. Alhamdulillah. I mean, I understand that he has no one to talk to and stuff, I really do. But I'm not good at this sort of thing, and besides, I really wanted to go home, I was tired!

Ohwell. Blessing in disguise, maybe, cos when I got back to store, Naz's two friends were there preparing markout supper for themselves, and one of them is really cute!

Yes. Speaking of cute guys. The Lonerguy magic is gone. A drunk Lonerguy is really.. well, tak very pleasant to be with. Unless you are his drunk pompan-of-the-night. I mean, just because you're cute and banyak pompan suker kau, doesn't mean you have to spread the love.

But whatever floats your boat la, Lonerguy.

Damn. Now I have no one to go to school for. Da tak fun la!

[And Nat, stop macam, smiling enigmatically when Hady-lookalike talks to me. Nanti the WHOLE STORE tahu, buat malu sey! And I'm not like, in love with him or anything, so there's really no need for anyone to know. THANKS! :P]

Ohyeah. Smalam I went tanning [tak jadi] with Fan. After that was Vivo [saw everyone cute except for Sam] and shopping, where I found the guy of my dreams at Topman:

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

...Nampak gaya I won't be doing the draft today. Sorry, Belle.

Well, Lonerguy was here for the test today, yay! Crappy as usual, of course. Dier suker discuss the answers after the test though. PET PEEVE! Haha. And then he didn't join us for breakfast after. Bodoh. Baru ingat nak tunjuk dier Baby.

Speaking of Baby, niari it started fine, Alhamdulillah. Asalkan aku tak berpeluh maknanya it's a smooth ride la. Haha. And you know how easily I perspire, so it was great when I DIDN'T this morning! Yay.

Smalam lepas lecture we visited Mat at SB-TM, and after, I met this guy from myspace. *dies laughing* Didn't take me long to turn into Hanom, did it? [Sorry Hanom, I don't mean any offence by that!] He's cute la. But abit like a grown-up Hannan. I swear I don't know what's wrong with me, but guys keep reminding me of Hannan these days. Aperje.

Well, he's macam 28 but doesn't look as old la, at least not to me. So that's great. And I decided to give him a lift home, but then dah sampai, I realised nak kena isi minyak, so I asked him where the nearest Esso was. Well, you know, Kallang-Geylang area, so in the end dier yang bawak Baby to the Esso. And he very nicely paid. Like I said to Nat, "Tak pernah ada orang bayarkan duit petrol before!" [Then again, tak pernah ada kenderaan before this. Hehe.]

Got home at one, woke up at five, so I'm understandably in NO MOOD for school.

Tuesday, October 31, 2006

Hehe. Been surfing since I plopped my ass in the library CBLC. Here are some Baba-type jokes I found on myspace:

Siape yang menemukan dompet kulit?
-Yang menemukan dompet kulit tersebut tolong pulangkan kepada saye.

Pintu ape yang walaupun dengan 10 org pun tak leh nak tolak?
-Pintu yang ade tulis 'TARIK'

Saya ade 3 kepala, 4 tangan dan 5 kaki...siapakah saya?
-Pembohong...

Binatang ape yang seluruh anggota tubuhnya kat kepala?
-Kutu rambut

Nenek sape jalannya meloncat-loncat?
-Neneknye si katak

Ape beza sekretari baik ngan sekretari kurang baik?
-Sekretari baik..................'Selamat pagi tuan'
-Sekretari kurang baik...........'Dah pagi ni tuan'

Tukang ape yang kalau dipanggil, die menjenguk ke atas?
-Tukang gali kubur

Nak mencari sikit punye susah, bile dah dapat buang, ape bendanya?
-Tahi hidung

Ape persamaan kain jemuran ngan telefon?
-Dua-dua kalau dah 'kringgg' bole diangkat...

Wahahaha.
Today was the last day of Analytical Lab. It just happens to be my favourite lab ever, thanks to the following reasons [in no particular order]:
1. Half of it is carried out in air-conditioned comfort.
2. It never ends later than three.
3. My lab partner is really polite, nice and friendly! Doesn't hurt that he's not ugly either.
4. He's also smart!
5. The lab reports are short and senang nak dapat A.
6. Agnes, one of the lab demonstrators, is so adorable la!
7. We get to use the coolest apparatus/equipment merepek meraban.

For example, today we used the pre-calibrated burette thingy [tak tahu nama betul, obviously], like the ones you see on CSI. TOTALLY LA. I was really happy and step matair-Danny-Messer just now. Haha.

Yeah I think that would be pretty much it. So anyway, it was SO sad as I finished up Determination of Sugars by Titrimetry, because there'll be no more nice lab partner, cute lab demonstrator, and CSI-like apparatus. And my lab partner [I know his name, just don't want to broadcast it to the world] said, "Nice working with you.." ahhh it was such a painful moment, parting with Anat Lab.

*waves sadly* Bye..

And Prof Li is so cute la. He's something like the Nanoworld lecturer, but less silly, but still as cute! Haha. Too bad tadi I was too sleepy to keep awake. Sorry dok. :S From time to time, Alfian had to say, "Ain, tulis notes!" cos he didn't bring his own, haha.

Monday, October 30, 2006

Hasn't been the greatest day pasal Baby sakit.

But was at the Tampines NYP with Nat just now for dinner, and while queueing, Haya Girl [not to be confused with Haiyah-Busuk Girl (Atikk)] walked past with her friend! And, as lesbian as it sounds, my heart leapt and I unthinkingly smiled at her. Hey, look, I'm sorry, but she is incredibly cool la! She's young and pretty and riding a Haya.

Anyways, she smiled back, and did that scrunch-up-eyes face at me. CUTENYER!

*jumps around*

Well, random photos.

Those heart-shaped chocolate kuihs I was raving about.

Uhh. Toys from my childhood. The bear yo-yo ball is SO CUTE LA.

Me and Iqah, too bad mata dier tertutup. She's adorable.

Yes that would be me in my Hallowe'en outfit yang tak menjadi.

Some general info: Babyboyyy, as referred to in my MSN nick(s), is not a real live human. It's my new bike, shared with my riding buddy.

I think I said somewhere else that I never knew something so material could bring me so much happiness.

This ownership isn't without its problems, though. But ultimately, there are payoffs. Thanks to God, my parents, Mat and Riding Buddy for everything. As well as assorted mats who've been friendly and helpful thus far. Hehe.

Thursday, October 26, 2006

Raya was alright. Not exactly pulling-teeth standard, but boring as balls. This year we went to even less houses. Problem is, the guys I'm directly related to are NOT REMOTELY CUTE. And the houses that we skipped were the ones that contained the cuter, no-direct-relation guys, and therefore more possibility of cute mats. But noooo, they decided those houses were too crowded, so yeah, I spent most of the day staring into space like some well-dressed loser.

Hope everyone else had a better one.

ANYWAY. Dropped by work yesterday. Unfortch, Hady-lookalike was nowhere in sight. Boy Jiwang buat per, kan. Although he did make me a grande iced hazelnut chocolate, with pretty whipped cream, and he introed me to his friend, HAHA. Well it was nice being back at work. Macam, missed the place and everything.

Gonna be a hoop-skirted floozy for Hallowe'en. Haha! Can't wait.

Monday, October 23, 2006

It's taking for-freaking-ever to print my stupid four-page lab report!!! Argh. Darah up siol.

I have macam loads to blog about, really. My disappointing haircut that looks exactly the same as before. My beautiful beautiful baju raya which I just picked up yesterday. The adorable heart-shaped chocolate-covered biscuit kuih we made for raya. [Well, actually, all I did was to shape the foil into nice, proper hearts. But whatever.] Anyway, I wanted to bring some today and kasi The One I Go To School For, but malu, cos Alfian won't be there to mask my true intentions. Haha. So maybe after raya. If masih ada.

This morning ader cute vik-looking guy in train. Nak! Hehe. But was sleepy, mostly slept la.

[Oh I'm sorry Nat but I think those minahs ARE in science.]

Sunday, October 22, 2006

Penat gilbabs.

Had another great coupla days at work. Smalam there were two mats who ordered some coffee frap and a mango tea frap. [I was doing frap.] So aku dah buat, I handed off the stuff to them and all. They accepted it, but continued standing there. Aku tak prasan until a coupla minutes later, one of them was like, "Uh, boleh taruk chocolate tak?" pointing to the mango frap. I looked at him quizzically, and he clarified, "Ntahlah, my friend lah.. Tak betul.." pointing to the second mat who was at the door. Well, you know, Just Say Yes policy, so I complied. When I turned back round with the modified drink, the second mat was the one standing there and he was blaming the FIRST mat for making the odd request. Aperje tau budak2 ni.

[<3 Hady-lookalike.]

Today a cute guy from school was at store. Dier pon suker my favourite frap! Yay balls! Well basically, banyak cute guys la. Loves cute guys. Mostly they come out at night, so aku suker jadi BS at night. Jadi BS pagi-pagi macam taik, cos you have to deal with grumpy people who haven't had their coffee fix yet. So always be BS at night. Boleh interaksi with CCDs!

Tadi Boy Jiwang used my eyeliner! TOtally! Haha. And Noel praised my calmness at the bar, *beams*! [And Naz bising-bising kat aku for checking out cute guys while on the floor. Haha.]

Yesterday I did preclosing, gilbabs betol, I reached home at around five. IN THE MORNING! Nasib baik I was able to just tido teros. Loves the adorable guys yang naik company cab too. Haha.

Fadz sent me the gambars from his camera, and here's my FAVOURITE! [Kalau kau kenal aku, you should know why.]

This'll be pretty rough around the edges--I may clean it up later or not.

Went to put downpayment yesterday. It's beginning to feel so real, and somewhat scary. Exciting, too, of course. I mean, what else could it be?

Well so anyway, was at PS after that to get Ophe's present but dangggg the killer cramps from hell struck. Ooops gtg be back soon.

It's 3.43 p.m. now. Eh I love this Windows Vista thingy or whatever OS they're using at S10 CBLC. Pleasant-looking interface.

ANYWAY. Where was I. Ohyes the killer cramps from hell. Seriously. This happened once before. Last year, July. I was at work, and I nearly fainted, everything was spinning, and I was breaking out in a cold sweat, macam demam gitu. Even when I'm really demam that doesn't really happen. So anyway, the same thing happened yesterday la. I was writhing around in pain in the taxi. Kesian si taxi uncle. He prolly thought I was gonna give birth in his cab or smthg. So I told him to keep the change.

It's scary la. I wonder what causes these Cramps From Hell. They really make me rethink life, and everything. Ohwell so I got home, and writhed around in bed instead, berpeluh-peluh macam demam malaria or some crap. But at 5 or so, aku carik maut and decided to meet Hanom at BC anyway. I was feeling better pe.

Fifi wasn't there, much to my disappointment. But there was a cute manjen/malay/serani/entah-aper guy working. Niceee. And Najib too. He really does have a great smile. I tried the Roasted Spring Chicken. Not bad la. Nasi is abit dry though.

We went to Geylang after that, yay. It was only my third time tapi kesian Hanom, who's been there only about 9284028 times in less than a month. I got my inai done by a Nadiah Abdat, who's really nice and friendly, and as usual, macam a moving advertisement for her stall la. Everyone stopped to watch. Aperje. Every year it's the same thing.

Bumped into Bun. Twice. He was with his guy friends. The first time I said hi as usual, but the second time buat malu, cos he was just walking past, and Hanom exclaimed, "BUN!" Kalau dier exclaim nama betul orang tu takper jugak. Now he knows for sure yang aku ni giler. Garhhh.

I did quite alot of shopping. Finally got my Remp-it, a coupla Hari Raya cards, 100g of dendeng for my brother.. And a whole load of cuci mata. I love me my mats.

Anyways, was boarding the train at Paya Lebar. When I walked in, I looked at the cute mat leaning against the pole, and thought, "Aizat!" so I was macam, staring hard at him, and he looked back, but then he looked away. So I was like, Okay, maybe I was wrong.. and went to stand at some corner. Then he turned and looked at me again and I knew it was him. So cute la, dier pakai specs and I've never seen him wear them before! He said something about "rabun malam". Haha.

Finally, this morning dawned bright and early, and I was really kinda sleepy and takder-mood. But at 9 a.m., The One I Go To School For walked in! The funniest part was that 15 minutes earlier, Alfian'd given up the seat he'd reserved for him, and he told me, "Kalau **dil*** datang, dier duduk sebelah kau ah.." I never dreamed he'd be right!

Ahhhh <3..

I'm really sleepy so kena type fastfast so boleh tido ASAPPPPPP.

Work was lovelayyyyy as usual today, even though I was sleepy nak mampos at first. CCD was this hot vik-derivative guy, who sat for about an hour outside, alone. Finally he came in and ordered. And I asked him, "What size for the Java Chip Frappucino?" and he smiled and answered, "Surprise me!" I nearly died. But I kept it together. Almost reprinted his receipt as a keepsake, but I held myself back. Haha. Anyway later I walked out and it turned out he has a matair. Who's also gorgeous. Ohwell. Nak kata "crushed", dah banyak kali terjadi anyway. Haha.

After work I went to Defu with Mat, and bumped into Az! Wow she was totally the last person I expected to see there. Can't wait to go clubbing with them again.

Buka-ed at work. It was frrrreeeezing, I swear. And Dean was macam extra-hilarious today. He was telling me to suggest the Tall or Grande size instead of offering people a choice, so he said, "Stop asking them what size they want--this is not a fitting room!" Klakar kan??? Then later he was suaning Mat about Nat [again] and then he said, "Who eat the chilli will feel the spicy.." No, he seriously said that--in English. It was SOOOO funny cos I've never heard that saying translated!!!

Yeah okay that should be all I needed to say. Nites.
Am in a good mood pasal I'm really full from sahur. Had the YUMMIEST apple strudel and tiny chocolate cream puffs! [Now, I'm not a chocolate person, but chilled chocolate cream puffs are just little edible clouds of bliss, I swear.]

Oh and yesterday there was a cute guy on the bus home. Dahlah kiter pakai matching [purple top and jeans]. Dahlah dier CUTE GILER--all tall and tanned and universally good-looking. If THAT'S not enough, he turned out to live in the same block! On the fourth floor. Ahhh. I love this place, never ever wanna move!

heart the beach! I mean, come ON. This photo is macam so funny. The shades. The clothes. The sandals. And finally, the pose. Hahahaha.

always grinning I LOVE the tshirt in this photo. I think I was wearing it all the way till Primary Six. It was in tatters by then, but so comfy and cute! This was at my rumah lama, btw.

come on, i WAS cute And yeah, I don't know why, but I always had short hair. Bodoh. If not for the skirts and dresses, you'd think I was a boy. That panda was apparently a favourite, too. I still have it around somewhere, I hope.

Tuesday, October 17, 2006

Gaaaa. My eyes are macam dying from the haze. And my nose isn't any better. BODOH.

Finally finished my lab report. Haha. Well, I wouldn't call it finished, seeing as I skipped one part which I totally did not get. But it looks long and messy, so jadilah. Messy cos my blue pen died halfway, so I had to use my Parker, which is thick and tembus-y, and so I had to write bigger. Again, BODOH.

Nak tido. Just now during Anat I slept again. But hey, I was the second person to arrive so you know, I deserve a break for that. Hahaha.

Yesterday I was going down memory lane again. [Hence the unfinished-till-today lab report.] It all started when my mom made me kemas my stuff la. So I stumbled on some old [that's really a relative term] photos, and was so entertained by them that I decided to look at some more. So I dug up all my kiddy photos, circa 1989. And I look so cute and innocent [don't gag, there's a point to this!] and happy in those photos, that it just made me want to cry. You know, cos I'm none of the above anymore.

Granted, there were photos where I was sulking. But you know, they were for stupid kiddy reasons. Like one of them was taken in the hospital when my brother was born. In the photo, I'm standing, looking pointedly down at my shoes, because my mom wouldn't let me carry my baby brother. In the next photo, it's like I gave birth to him myself! I was sitting on the chair, carrying Zul, grinning with cheeks fit to burst.

It's just sad, how life is no longer like that for me. And how I lost my innocence and my smile.

Oh but it's interesting how some parts of me haven't changed. Me posing with my vanity kit. Me posing with my new dress. Me posing with some tarian pose. Basically, me posing. Hahaha.

Met my new neighbours yesterday. Well, technically, I just met the mother, cos the rest were standing outside. But judging from her alone, they seem nice. Haha. And she's a MILF! And so friendly and stuff. Doesn't seem to have any sons though. BODOH nyer bapak nyer sperm.

Okay nak catch some shut-eye before nanoworld lecture later. Tata.

Monday, October 16, 2006

My day off didn't start so great pasal Dodol woke up late. And I mean late. After 2 p.m. I just gave up and watched TV while clearing out my junk. [My sister's moving back so the entire study room has to be converted into a room for my brother, which means the new study room will be the balcony, which means I have to clear my four drawers of junk currently stored there. It's a real bitch, because I'm such a packrat/hoarder. So siler faham.]

Anyway he called round 5.45, so I met him at Somerset after buka. Problem was, he was half-an-hour late. Aku dah bingit giler babi. I msged him, "Are you freaking kidding me? I've been waiting for half an hour!" I swear, dier kalahkan Fan sometimes, punctuality-wise.

Well by the time dier sampai there was nothing to do, so we hung out at SB-OP [?], where Sue was working, so I got my first partner's discount! So exciting sia! Plus there was a cute guy working there. No, really, he's adorable. Dier buat frap tak sedap, but who cares. Haha. He's 19, she says. Cute laaa. Tak friendly, though. Ohwell. Shy, gaknyer. Plus there was a cute customer outside, duduk sorang2, tgh blajar marketing or something. Wow la.

In the end kiter gi Geylang, with Dayah and Zahdan! But you know, Sunday night, so macam mendak sikit ah. Well, at least it was less hot. I wanna buy Remp-it, Sepet, and Gubra. Hmm. Tunggu gaji ah.

Sunday, October 15, 2006

Ngantuk. It's very hard to function on only two hours of sleep. But yesterday wasn't too bad, I suppose. Farid wasn't as annoying. I think pasal dier lapar, or something. [Not that dier puasa.] Yeah and I did bar with him for awhile, he wasn't setan so it was cool.

Takder any cute guys, I think. BORING. But then again, I wasn't in the mood, really, so takper. Visited Dayah as usual, and bumped into Natasha [Bahajaj] with her boy. He's so cute la. Macam budak kecik. And loving the concept.

The armchair in my room is now gone, replaced by some lame-ass vanity thingy. BODOH. I just want to kick it to pieces. I miss my armchair.

Saturday, October 14, 2006

Totally smashed.

I was supposed to end work at midnight, but it kinda stretched till 130!!! And if I wanted to take the cab home, I'd have to wait till 3-plus!!! So I just Night-Rider-ed back. Thank you, SMRT.

Well I reached home at 315, anyways. But I was staggered by the number of cute mats in the bus! Woohoo! Tak sia-sia aku naik laaa.

Aaaaand speaking of cute guys, today there were a couple of them at store, and they ordered frap. So aku, yang fortunately ada di frap area, made them the drinks, with extra loving care! I love it when I'm in a position to macam, give extra frills. Usually I like to put extra scoops of chips, tapi tadi takder, so I settled for putting gobs of beautifully-swirled whipped cream on both drinks. Then I presented it to them, in my sweetest voice and most winning smile. <3!

Bar test was weird. Pasal it happened at around midnight. And about four people were crowded round me at the bar, watching. And Dean was sitting outside, and when I made the perfect foam all by myself, Joseph went all the way out to Dean with the milk pitcher to macam, show it off. Giler, I swear. And in the end tak habis. Short of six drinks, actually. Or five. Cos I made Dean a drink too. Entahlah.

What matters is, I'm using the white punch-card now! TOtally!

Anyways, I gotta work AGAIN later at ten in the morning. Which means I effectively get two hours of sleep. Or less, depending on my giler bodily functions. Just felt like checking in.

Thursday, October 12, 2006

Just wanted to check in and announce that my baby dah sembuh!!! But still slow macam nak mampos. So laptop guy said that I have to back up the data and send it back to him for reformatting. Yups.

Malas though, so will prolly do it next week.

Okay bye!
Just thought Baba might like to know that Se-lim's real name is the same as that of her co-secretary in 3J Junior!!!

Hahaha.

Gaaa being at bar is so stressful, I swear. And I really think I'm secretly pissing people off by being so slowpoke. "Secretly" because they're too nice to come right out and say it.

Oooh and one customer said to me, "You have nice eyes.."!!! When I hastened to inform him they were fake, he macam, clarified that he was talking about their shape! SO COOL. And since I didn't go for plastic surgery or whatever merepek meraban, it means they're all-natural!

Sorry aku giler. After work I bumped into Rachel [Balota] and Amira outside. Wow I swear Rachel is still the same after all these years! Minus the braces la.

Yeah and after buka I went to sleep. Yay!

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

I am SO sleepy, it's affecting my mood. Tak caya tanyer Gamar, who was greeted by my black face this morning. I swear, it's not like I did anything strenuous yesterday, or some similar shit.

But yeah yesterday I was tired too. Sleeping every chance I could get. And Lonerguy<3 made an appearance during lecture, and was his funny adorable self. He really is cute. Takleh angkat, really.

After lecture I went to BC to meet Hanom for dinner. So much for "I'll come early and chope place" kan Hanom? In the end aku yang sampai dulu. When I walked in, Gross-Haired Guy smiled at me and said hi, so I said hi back. And Fifi, who was at the espresso machine, smiled and said to me, "Lama tak jumpa/datang!" I was SOOOOO wowed! It's been a long time since he spoke to me directly. Anyway I replied, "Busy ah!" and he was like, "Busy.."

Alah dier comel.

Anyway today's the tenth, which actually means it's supposed to be the pre-awards show. But I've been so freaking tired, plus, my bar test is this Saturday, so macam, I'll postpone the pre-awards la. Paling-paling, I'll just combine the two on the same day.

What was on the menu yesterday: Tuna deck, with a side order of fries and tartar sauce, ILT, plus apple crumble topped with vanilla-ice cream. Omg the apple crumble was to die for! It had macam, mysterious bits of coconut embedded within, and basically I was just terkencinging of bliss all the way.

Oh and afterwards, Hanom and I were walking to the Natlib bus stop, and this macam, hot feringhee guy, who'd been walking behind us, walked past us and turned, smiled and said, "Hi." We were sungguh terharu!!!

Well. Gotta go finish up my BLJ. For the record, the day got a bit better because clearly, I didn't end lab at five. I was one of the earlier ones, yay! Loves my independent efficiency.

Balik rumah nak tidoooooooooooo.

Bye!

Sunday, October 08, 2006

I did POS at work yesterday morning. Stress giler babs sey. I was actually sweating in the airconditioned store. MAMPOS. But it was alright, I guess.

Farid and Khai were bullying me yesterday. Dahlah si Farid perli aku pasal Friendster--Dean was saying to me, "Remember to show me ah.." and I was like, "Show you what?" and Farid interjected, "Takkan nak suruh tunjuk Friendster kau kan.." Sheesh! Yeah then I was innocently sitting in the back room talking to Ophe and Farid was screaming at us to be quiet, then later he came and attacked my hair with the SKU gun. And aku ingat si Khai nak tolong or whatever, but NO, he peeled off one of the tags and stuck it on my forehead.

To think I thought I was giler.

After work Mat and I went to the Kampong Glam Bazaar! There's a chendol stall with ALL-CUTE guys working. Oh and there was a bunch of hot CD mats buying buka stuff too. <3! Bumped into a coupla people--Naz[urah] with whom I assume is her boyfriend, and Mastura, who was macam buka-ing at the sidewalk. Haha.

Ohyeah and then I was still hanging round work at about 9ish, so I was like talking to Din and stuff, and then one of his friends joined us, and she said hi to me la. GUESS WHO IT WAS, BABA! It was Se-lim [obviously not her real name], and she's been working at SB-Lido since my JC days, at least. Wow. And you know, she's surprisingly nice. But like Mat says, everyone has their nice side la.

Waiting for Nat to finish her Nanoworld tutorial so I decided to do a short one.

You don't know my name!!!!!

I'll leave that to y'all to figure out, yes? Because I don't want another situation to arise where people takder kerja and google their name, and then land on my blog and read flattering accounts of them in my life. But suffice to say that my Friday morning became that much more fun, and life had more meaning, at least for those three-and-a-half hours.

I told you, loves making new friends. Espesh when it's someone you've been wanting to befriend for a whole year, and then some.

I'm also sick, btw. Sneezed about five times in as many minutes, in the warm sunshine. [Cepat, cepat, where's that last line from?] I am SO GONNA DIE at work later. BODOH. I hate being sick. Espesh when I can't even minum air to ease the feeling.

OhYAAA completely forgot that I wanted to buka McDonald's today. Damn. And I don't think sempat beli before work later. Yargh. Ohwell. Nanti tengoklah camne.

Nak terkencing. [And so much for "short one". Haha.]

Thursday, October 05, 2006

Just dropping by again, before I go for inorg lect. I printed some photos today, yay! And I made TWO copies of that photo on my phone wallpaper. <3 adorable boys with soft-giler-nak-mampos hair and deeply tanned skin and heart-melty smiles.

Yup. No hebat guys in the train, unfortch. Ohwell.

OHYAH now I remember what I wanted to blog about. WHAT issit with guys thinking I'm the Queen of MoS or something? In less than one week, TWO guys have messaged me asking questions about whether they let in guys wearing three-quarters; and what's the age limit for guys, respectively. Sejak biler bapak aku own MoS ni? Pergilah tanyer orang lain! Just because I used to go there every week does NOT make me the resident expert on MoS.

[Or maybe I'm just really mad cos these guys are going during bulan Ramadhan. Look, I already SAID that I have standards. And they include NOT clubbing during the holy month.]

Ok bye!
[Just remembered this.]

Nat [while in the bus, passing by some scaffolding thingies]: I wonder what those erections are for..
MTP count today was two, i think. it was SO funny cos wawa hates guys who tak puasa too! so when one of them came to the counter and order entah-aper, wawa asked me loudly, "eh, tanyer mat dier buka puasa kat sini tak?"

and later she was doing trash detail with farina, and there was a table with the same guys la, so she loudly proclaimed, "wow lagi lapan minit dah bole buka!!" SO FUNNY la.

ntah apasal eh, wednesday pun boleh ada slam. i was going nuts. thank God for naz. haha. great thing about slams, more customers yang HEBAT!

oooohh and i bought a new pair of work shoes. ACTUAL shoes this time, a pair of rowley XL3s. i LOVE them soooo much, penat2 aku drag my mom to tampines and then parkway parade to get them k. SO lawarrrrrrr. yay!

Wednesday, October 04, 2006

yesterday was pretty fun. i sat next to yanti during the test, thankfully, cos i was macam eating fries supreme for buka. hahaha. when it's your friend, you're less inclined to feel malu.

the test was shitty but hey, no big surprise, because after i printed notes yesterday, i went to the sixth level and promptly fell asleep. i was SO tired. then i forced myself to wake up and wade through at least the tutorials before i went to pray at six.

i don't understand why school is more draining than work. padahal you work longer hours, and you don't get to sit down!

so i'm skipping physical chem today, because i really really pity my big liquid brown/black eyes. hahahaha.

i reached iftar just as it ended, bodoh. but i wasn't there for the food/people/whatever, just wanted to meet atikk and the rest, cos it HAS been a whole mid-sem break since i last saw some of them. for others, tak kisahlah eh. and that includes the firdaus-lookalike. sorry, but by association, you're evil too.

we went to hazwani afterwards, where horis, zahdan and ghaz already were. AAAAND the cutest policeman did 2849361 walk-throughs! and surprised me by being manjen when i mati-mati thought he was malay! ooooh and there was this macam, almost-fight between two mat karats, which escalated into quite a loud fuss, and then terbawak-bawak to the pavement outside hazwani, where they both realised that they actually knew each other previously. or whatever. so the [gagap] troublemaker asked one of the hazwani guys for pen and paper, and i think they exchanged contacts.

my question is, what happened to good old handphones?

went home with zahdan, and there was this cute guy in the train with GREAT sideburns. i LOOOOVE great sideburns. they rockkkkkkkkk.

Tuesday, October 03, 2006

just checking in, cos i <3 blogging. haha. in scilipssss now, having finished lab early [yay!], so i just berhari-raya and printed practically ALL my notes, now i have to get like two more printing cards. but hey it's SO fun!

okay. gonna go study nano now byeeeee.
decided not to go for anat lect because.. well because i'm a bum. NOLAH it's like there's no more paper to print notes on! so macam, i refuse to sit there nodding off because i have nothing to copy notes on! [and yes i know i won't be going for lecture tomorrow either, so why don't i at least go today, to sort of even things out, but i'm so tireddd and last night when i tried to sleep early, all sorts of weirdos called and msged me, BISING tau!]

should have just turned off my phone.

went to YIH yesterday to collect my baby, and he told me he'd changed the motherboard and all the data was intact, so i turned it on, and my pretty wallpaper was like waving at me from the screen, but then, as the laptop guy walked away, my baby went blank on me!!! i was SOOOO sad. baru keluar, kena masuk balik. so i sat around while he tried to figure out the problem, but since he couldn't, he said, he'd try and look at it again. which means i have to come back another day.

but it wasn't a total loss, cos while i was waiting there, this cute serani-vik [with a girlfriend] asked me how long i'd been waiting, how many service guys there were, etc. thank God for girlfriends yang takleh send their laptops for servicing on their own.

AND while i was crossing the road to the bus stop, there was a scrambler that went past me. i was standing at the centre line, so i just checked it [and him] out. and he smiled at me! so i realised it was lonerguyyyyyy. well, it was either him or some cute random scrambler mat. but he came for lecture in the same white tshirt so of course it was him. <3

okay and finally, i'm really sad because i REALLY can't print anything because we have no more paper! ARGH. and i have about two or three sets of lecture notes to print so i can actually STUDY for the test that's happening tonight! sucksasss.

Sunday, October 01, 2006

smalam kiter gi tengok bikes!!! it was pretty cool. malu though, so i let dodol do all the talking. aku tukang "smile and nod your head" jer. hahaha. actually my favourite would have to be that 4.2k red number at jalan besar. yelah i know it's mahal. but it looks goooooooood. well. still gots to survey more shops, i guess.

i broached the subject of 2A bikes to my mom, and thank GOD she's not freaking out over it. it's contingent to my safe riding on the roads though. kalau accident or whatever merepek, it's byebye 2A la.

bumped into fahmi at the orchard bus stop, and NOW i know how to get to valley point YAY.

i swear dodol has so many friends, it's hard to macam just walk without him bumping into someone he knows. then he'll macam start talking to them and we have to stand there while they look at us weirdly. or whatever.

and we bumped into bun, kat far east [again], with his matair [again]. i was quite crushed. he looked so devastatingly cute! but it was almost buka so takleh bebual panjang, i guess. omg bun, i wish you would just stop walking around with your girlfriend! it hurts!

also saw mamat [!!!] at far east, with HIS girlfriend. one of those fair malay girls. wow mamat, rocking the shorter hair! but sedih cos now it means ALL the cool guys in chem have girlfriends. [will not bother to list them since there's only three.]

we were in the bus to pasir ris when the guy sitting infront of us started playing with some flippy metal tool thingy. so we started looking at him. apparently it's some CD nyer benda-bendaan la. so we were macam, just talking, and dodol went, "i wonder which station he's from.." padahal the guy TAK PAKAI earphones or whatever, so he macam, turned, and answered his question!!! i nearly died of shock and embarrassment. they proceeded to spend the WHOLE bus ride talking about CD stuff. cute la the guy. he's with tampines fire station, which, you know, is in charge of pasir ris fire post. yaaa and his dad's name is the same as mine, TOtally laaa, and he looks manjen giler, speaks like one too, until he lapses into a torrent of malay, or the odd word or two, and it's SO CUTE to hear him speak malay! haha. okay whatever. it's not like he'd give two shits about me.

yupyup. that was yesterday. quite excited about the whole bike thing. *jumps around*

(+)
ohyes luper nak add. MTP count was 16!!! beribunyerr!!

[Bonus] Going Nowhere

My Nowhere Baths experience starts with a warmup. In order to afford the entry fee, I have to scrimp and save and take the bus to Dempsey in...
