Well, I'm back. Apparently, people have missed me. So I'm really sorry for being un-online for the rest of the time I was in Perth. Aderlah masalah-masalah tertentu.

It was alright. People who know me, know the reasons I didn't wanna be there, and why I didn't enjoy myself there, so I won't elaborate. My siblings flew home on Christmas Day while I stayed back, literally crying of boredom. It was horrible.

My sister said that at least I got to stay for the post-Christmas sale. Which, btw, was a blast. Everything was on sale in ALL the stores, it was fantastic. And I have to admit, I spent more than a thousand aussie dollars in the twelve days I was there. Underwear, stockings, skinny jeans, dresses, playsuits, SHOES! I bought about seven pairs of shoes, four of them jellies. HAHA. Oh wait, make that five. Haha. Aku giler, I know.

And I spent $115 in Supre, I LOVE SUPRE.

Speaking of $115, we were in Myers' lingerie section and there was a range of bras that cost $119.25! I DIED! They were really lovely bras with embellishments in diamante, gold thread, metal buckles, and made of silk, and soooooo beautiful, but like, no one will see them unless you keep flashing the general public, sedih.

The thing about sales, and shops like KMart and Big W, is that you find things that you don't really need but you think you do. Like this adorable mini Chupa-Chups that I now have dangling from my phone, for only $1.99!

Haha.

Yesyes, I know I got to do a whole new wardrobe's worth of shopping, but you know what, I'd gladly trade it all in to have spent the time in rainy ol' Singapore instead.

Surprisingly, even though I was there against my will, and sedih and lonely half the time, I still felt a slight sadness when I finally had to leave. Come on, from Christmas Day till the 28th, I was an only child, it was excellent! And Dean is really cute and funny.

The flight back was alright, this time we had better KrisWorld with about a hundred on-demand movies and TV shows, plus new CDs and stuff. Fantastic. Unfortch, only a five-hour flight, so we didn't get to utilise the system fully. I caught The Heartbreak Kid, which was R21 before December 20, and 881, finally! HAHA.

Well anyway, back in rainy ol' SG, and loving it.

Day Two in Perth was maybe slightly less boring. I’m blogging from Microsoft Word, though, because of the non-widespread Internet access. I'll just cut and paste later.

I got a call from Muz last night. It was crisp and clear as though he was calling from next door. I wonder what’s his deal though. He prolly runs through about ten unavailable girls before calling me out of sheer boredom.

We went sightseeing this afternoon, thanks to my two siblings. Lord knows what’s gotten into them, because I really don’t care much for the sightseeing. But whatever. It’s not like I have a choice in the matter or whatever. Some Western Australia Botanical Gardens, where I found REAL dandelions, like huge marbles and not that easy to blow at. And Bell Tower, which was already closed by the time we got there.

Afterwards we went to Livingston’s or whatever, and I found more opaque tights! I think the ones I currently own are much thicker and more opaque, but whatever. I got two pairs. Ima look for the glittery ones next. And a denim strapless playsuit for fifteen bucks. Tomorrow I’m going to try on the other playsuit I found. And look for a long[er] dress. Apparently my dresses are all too short, or something.

I gave Khai a call just now, just because I have autoroaming and I miss him. Haha.

Ohyeah it was nice and sunny today, yey.

Anyways photos.

Sorry for the bad photostitching, I had to pee at this point.

Presenting.. The four faces of Christmas angels!

AAAAAAAND I'm in Perth!

It's unusually gloomy and muggy instead of bright and sunny. And I haven't gone shopping yet, but I forsee myself going mad over satin boxers and cute underwear and the like.

Flight was okay, super bumpy at some points and my cup of tea sloshed all over my tray. NO CUTE GUYS. It was a full flight, with lots of babies and toddlers bawling away. Boring movies, except for Ratatouille which of course I've watched already. But I watched Goya's Ghosts and it was such an ugh movie [for me] and I hated the ending. I like to see things get tied up nicely, not unravelled in three different directions. Music was good though.

I am, of course, bored now. We're not going out at all today. Please kill me! Haha. I didn't bring a book or anything, you see, so this is my only form of entertainment. And there's only one modem which we're all sharing. My brother, my sister and her husband, and of course NorDean. So yea.

Anyways. Yesterday was the Christmas Cheer Party at store and thankfully, mak wasn't there so I didn't have to deal with her. But I didn't stay long, and besides, it was raining so not a lot of people showed. Wait, my point is, there were a couple of sets of angel wings and halos, so I wasted no time in putting one of the halos on. =D I love Christmas, didn't I tell you? Well then, after that everyone [non-strangers] who saw me had a good laugh. Apparently it's funny to match my face to a halo. Thanks guys. I think Din laughed the loudest. Bugger.

Thanks to Atikk the Great, I have a car waiting for me the last three days of the year. So I'm going to do my part to contribute to global warming! Can't wait to paint the town red! [After that I'll be completely and utterly broke, but whatever.]

Nat, don't worry, I've put your helmet on the bike.

Saturday night I was at Pasir Ris Park with Khai, and we were sitting overlooking this clump of trees that concealed a bike trail. A bike trail that's SO DARK, I think it's meant for use in the daytime only. So anyway, it was like three in the morning or so and I saw someone walking out with something slung over his back. It was an unconscious body la! Some guy in the woods shouted, "Allahu-akbar!" and I heard a burst of giggles, followed by two more unconscious bodies being carried out later.

We had to walk past them on our way back to the carpark, and one guy had the gall to stare at us. Sheesh. Don't you dare stare at us when you went looking for trouble and found it! Khai thoroughly spooked me out when he asked me, "Are you okay?" out of the blue.

Later, he told me that he saw a hanging body at the other side of the place where we sat. Also, when we were walking past the group of stupid people, he saw one of the girls being sampuked and standing right next to him, breathing heavily.

I couldn't sleep that night.

I mean, wtf? This is why I don't go looking for trouble, at bloody OCH or whatever. This is why.

Well that's all I have for now then. I'll be back tmr, I hope!

I'll be leaving for Perth on Tuesday to spend Christmas with the family. [And my birthday, incidentally.] I'll be back after twelve days, on the 29th. [That's a Saturday.]

I'm not excited AT ALL because I'll be leaving my Khai behind. But I have big plans for when I'm back so.. I'm hoping that'll hold me.

If you really miss me, my mobile has autoroaming enabled. [I'll also be bringing my laptop but I don't think there's ubiquitious internet access there, so take the risk with an email.]

I sound like an advert for myself.

Working my ass off these last four days because I'm poor. So.. Till next time then.

Yesterday Dean dropped by store. That's not all he dropped! He also dropped a bombshell that he tendered his resignation like, days ago! Because he signed on! OMG. I was like wailing, "Couldn't you like, get a job where I can visit you?" Haha. He says he'll pay another visit on Christmas, but I won't be around, will I? Man I miss that bugger. HAHA. I especially miss the times when we all used to buka puasa at store. Him in his socks and slippers, translating Malay proverbs to English.

Oooh I went KTV-ing with Khai on Friday night, and we were walking back from Ming Arcade when I spotted this crumpled piece of paper on the ground. Thing was, it was a familiar, coveted sort of pattern that made me stop in my tracks. I thought it was a trick, that there was someone lying in wait, hidden, with a camera to capture the next sucker who picked up the note. But Khai was like, "Ambik aje lah!" so I bent down and picked it up. Ten whole dollars! Thank you, drunk stranger, for dropping it on the ground.

It's been like forever, hasn't it?

Anyway like I said somewhere else, I've been living at Afghan Mac's for the past couple of weeks or so. So the other night, we were studying outside when this reversing taxi knocked one of the McDelivery mats' bikes to the ground. The pakcik immediately jumped out, smiling sheepishly, and apologised to the guy. Apologised! Did you hear that, pakcik Wish? Yeah so then after checking the damage and all, he insisted on giving the McDelivery mat some money as compensation, but the dude wouldn't hear of it, so the pakcik slipped the money into his shirt pocket. Dayah and I were macam swooning at this point. But then the dude puts the money BACK in the pakcik's shirt pocket!!! [Causing Dayah and I to die on the spot.]

SO NICE. Such a contrast to the unbelievably mean pakcik Wish.

I miss my study sessions now. So sad. Well, no reason to study for the next few weeks, so yeah.

I really would love to go out right now, but only a crazy person would be out in this weather so.. guess I'm stuck at home.
