I got my first Brazilian today! [Yeah, I know, overshare, but who cares? My blog, my rules.] It didn't even hurt that bad la, I was all scared for nothing. This rocks man! I can finally go for real tanning without having to worry about things poking out. *jumps around* In fact, I think I'll go next week. Sun, let's make a date for next week okay?
Yesterday I was studying at Afghan Mac's with Dayah and OMG, I had to pee so badly and they'd already closed the toilet, so, adamantly refusing to go to the coffeeshop toilet, I got on the bike and rode to freaking Tampines Mart to pee. Unfortch for me, a bunch of McDelivery mats and their skanky minah-groupies were macam hanging around outside. Buat semak je. Whateverlah eh.
I finally tried the "Mega Mud" at Megabites yesterday. And no, that's not the opposite of "Super Minah". WAHAHA. It's pretty nice. It's not a mudpie, according to my imagination. But it's nice anyway. Like the brownie with ice-cream, except a little less brownie. That's why it's cheaper.
I had the grand idea of studying at store just now, but apparently mak has implemented a don't-go-in-the-back-room-if-you're-not-on-shift rule. And what's the point of studying at store if you can't walk in and out? So I didn't. I left before the jam. Heheh.
Did I mention Khai called me yesterday too? Well, Khai called me yesterday too! Yey! I love it when he calls.
Okay off to study!
I write about my current obsessions and social issues I'm passionate about. Get inside the head of this Perempuan Giler Namun Tetap Fun.

I've been busy. Busy doing what? Busy avoiding school, getting into bike accidents, and spending time with Khai. Busy overnighting at school, at An's place, at Hanom's. Busy hanging at Simpang, shopping and bumming around at home.
I can't go for practicals because I'm in mild pain, and I suck enough when I'm in tiptop physical condition, so let's give it some time. I can't seem to do my work at home, but I don't want to study outdoors by myself. I miss Khai so much I keep cursing my phone inwardly for being so silent.
Thank God for friends, who help distract you. On Saturday night I went out driving with Atikk and Dayah. We went to Al-Ameen Bukit Timah where we had naan, yums. But the next table had this whole spread of food, with soups and macam all sorts of dishes we wished we'd ordered. And they topped it off with ice-cream goreng, which we just had to have. After that Atikk let me drive to KAP. Haha. All I can say is, nasib baik tak banyak kereta.
Then we drove to school and passed by a fatal accident at Clementi. Inalillah. And I spent the rest of the night working on lab report. Next morning, I went to get a couple of photos printed and the two angels had breakfast with me at Afghan Mac's while waiting for Khai to wake up. In the meantime, we watched the 90387540274 near-crashes at the irresponsibly-designed carpark. Highlight being the pakcik in a Wish which nudged a McDelivery mat's bike, *CRASH!* Worst part was, he got out of the car and immediately started on the poor guy. Well maybe it was the abang McDelivery's fault for parking there when he's not supposed to, but STILL. Kau yang langgar dier per Wish! Tak sadar diri kau tu besar ke? Tak dengar back sensor beeping its ass off ke? The least you could do is give a grudging sorry before terus marah-marah dier pe. It's his livelihood, man.
Well, Atikk sided with the Wish, as usual. So aku malas nak layan. I know where my loyalties lie. It was a pretty big drama though.
Yeah what an exciting Saturday/Sunday.

I saw posters for Oktoberfest around science just now, and you know what? One of the features was "sausages (halal)" and I died because wow, halal sausages are such a draw to a Muslim who drinks! Oh. Merepek.
The Megabites auntie says I have lost weight. Aper je. It's a flattering cut, is all. Haha.
I spotted Fir at the carpark just now, wonder what he's doing here.

Speaking of brothers, this morning I gave my brother a lift to school cos he was macam late. He woke up at eight when he was supposed to be in school at eight. So I jokingly offered him a lift, but I was jolted out of my sleepiness when he actually accepted! Therefore, I was unable to put on makeup, wax, or any sort of beauty aid that would make me passable for human consumption.
Raya was boring as balls. But malam raya was nice. Except for I didn't interact with any cute mats, sedih kan? Ohwell there's always clubbing. I have another embarrassing video of Atikk to add to the collection. Yey.
I went out with Naz and Mat last night. Weird kan? But it was practically Naz's first time in Pasir Ris, so I decided to macam honour her presence and all. Even though it was the middle of ANTM8. Well but everywhere in Tampines was closed. So we went to Simpang. Where my beloved Spize was closed.
Ended the evening off at An's! So fun! But now I'm tired nak mamps.

Macam malas to study for the two midterm tests I have later. So here I am.
I am, by the way, addicted to skypigeon. It's just a driving-directions Google map, but I love it to bits! Such detail. Such ease of use. Such great speed.
So anyway, yesterday I was pulling a 12-10 at work. I did bar after buka, but not alot of drinks, so I spent the time being amused by the group of mats who were waiting at the bar for their frap drinks. It was quite funny, you know, cos I was making like, say, a tall latte, but I could overhear their mat comments and all. And I just found the whole situation highly amusing. Plus Raudhah forgot to give one of them his receipt. So semua macam terkial-kial. And I was just standing there trying not to smile. Which is a first, for me right? At work I'm usually trying to smile, not trying not to smile.
Yeah and a couple of them were cute la, but it was the less-cute one with the blonde hair yang macam, kept staring.
After work I got changed and went to BK to meet Khai and A'an. And the same group of guys were still sitting outside, still staring at me [according to Khai, and also according to the weird feeling I got]. Espesh si blonde one. Then I didn't know whether to smile or look away, or..? Well. That was fun though. Although my favourite was the short dude in black.
Why do all the cute guys have to smoke?
I'm so incredibly sleepy, it's amazing I don't bump into pillars.
Anyways I know I'm several days late for the Ain Awards pre-awards, so I'll just skip to the main one on the 20th yea. Hang in there. [Sudahlah, as if anyone actually cares.]
Riding was a hoot, by the way. Even though I embarrassed myself by arriving at 1245 and arguing with Bahawdin that it WAS my slot. Haha. When I came back at 235, he carried on a whole long conversation with me about my braces. And later Kamsani was talking to me about the weather. And some driving instructor grinned at me from inside the car. Etc. But no peers nak bebual ngan aku. Sedih.
I was marginally annoyed though, by a pair of mats who were doing revision and semua nak buat together lah! So they'd stop and wait for each other, or slow down and wait for the other one to catch up, go to all the same courses and never took a break, not once. [Speaking of, BP was so cute, he told us he understands if we don't fast but we're not allowed to sit in the canteen drinking, we have to macam drink out of sight.] Like, aper je. You two are guys. Let's not be gay here. Semua nak kena buat together-gether ke pe. Where's the sense of independence? I mean, I get it if you wanna map out your route together or something, but why do you have to wait for each other? Nanti dahbis lesson bole bebual pe. Just go ahead first la.
Wow. Actually I'm not that angry at them lah, I'm just being cranky pasal other external factors *cough*ladydrivers*cough*. Well. My God is just, she will get what she deserves.

Yesterday I went shopping!
Okay no, actually it was Khai who was shopping and aku just tag along. I had to wait like an hour for him to show up, though, but I didn't mind, I spent the time at Page One [which has such a fantastic view] and Starbucks, reading up the IA article.
We buka-ed the LJS Break Fast Special meal, or whatever it's called, which actually serves four. HELLO. Needless to say, aku tak habis. He's crazy I swear. It cost 22 bucks in all, that works out to eleven bucks per person? Puas hati makan kat Secret Recipe kan. Well. Asal dier bahagia. The qurma date juice is surprisingly not bad. I brought one home, maybe I'll have it for buka later.
After that we walked everywhere! I found a pair of cute ballet pumps at World of Sports, lace-up ribbon and all. NAK! It was 71 bucks though, so I didn't get it yet. But I'm planning to! Anyways we were at Fox and I was trying on scarves [for my scoodie, remember?] which are going at around 20-plus bucks, not bad per. And he was paying for his sweater and then he said, "U nak beli ni? I'll get it for you." and I was like HUH? and of course I quickly declined, because how weird is that?
But he insisted on getting me something, and he said maybe at our next stop [inevitably, Topshop] I would find something I liked. By the time we entered Topshop it was nearly ten, and therefore closing, y'know? But miraculously I managed to find two tops that I liked. So I barged into the fitting room and tried both [okay, no, but the salesgirl was macam irritated, I'm sure], and I decided I loved both! A cream-coloured quarter-sleeve knit top; and a sleeveless Tasha-type translucent top. Lovesloves! I refused to decide between the two, so I told him he could buy me the first top [which he liked] and I would get the second one for myself, yey.
And that was how we wound up walking out of Vivocity, me with three different shopping bags, and him lugging both our bags [pasal bag aku berat, ha!]. So fun! I love shopping. I love shopping. I love shopping.
I reached home past midnight but I love shopping. <3

It was macam boring at work on Saturday. CCD-wise, anyway. I mean, we had great people on the floor, but no cute customers. Sedihnyer.
There was one odd malay dude who couldn't decide what to buy. At first he was being a normal distant customer, then as I handed him his credit card slip, he exclaimed, "Kau, inai rabak sey! Ingatkan tattoo!" But after I replied, he clammed up again. Macam weird kan.
There was also a cute indeterminate chinese/malay guy who was macam laughing at me at the POS and the bar. Bagus.
But that was about it.
Naz is trying to get me to turn lesbian. APERJE.

Aku sleepy balls, but I wanted to blog about my fantastic Geylang trip before I forget a single detail. WAHAHA.
So anyway, it was an uneventful Friday in school, where Lonerguy told me to smile pasal muker aku masam sangat, and he also called me Baby Bop for reasons yet unknown to me.
After school, I met up with Hanom after 7492740 hours of frustration with her PMS-y phone. We spent Buona Vista to City Hall deciding where to buka. We're such annoying indecision-makers, I swear. Anyways we finally settled on Lavender, i.e. tulangs at Beach Road. Not that either of us was planning to eat tulangs. Tulangs are meant to be eaten at home where you can wash off stains immediately.
It was turned out to be a fantastic and berbaloi decision. We got there at 615, so still early and macam banyak seats for the taking. So kiter macam relek2, and because we were far from the mama lorong, we decided to get nasi ayam penyet and nasi goreng kampung respectively. I'm sorry, but there were macam 3729472 mats, most of them young though. But a few promising ones. Like this fair-skinned, slim guy who macam reminded me of my dad. Haha. I was macam laughing and fiddling with my hair, and we happened to bertentang mata at that time, so I guess dier ingat aku senyum kat dier. Cos he spent the rest of the meal macam watching us from his table, 802737 tables away.
Well after that was Geylang, of course. We bussed down and had a toilet break at SingPost first, haha. Visited PutuPiringBoy. He is so adorable wow. Anyways then we stood at the Nippon Paint-Joo Chiat traffic light waiting for Dayah to find us, and guess who was macam crossing the road from Joo Chiat? My dad-lookalike, that's who. And he spotted us too, and he macam gave me a Look, and I got all flustered and had no idea what to do, so I tried smiling, and he was just macam staring even as he walked away.
Yup. I did my inai at some booth next to TKC. It's amazing, people are always attracted by live displays of henna-drawing. I don't get it. It's the same thing every year, innit?
We walked from TKC back to the food tent cos Dayah nak beli Burger Ramly, but guess who we bumped into first? My dad-lookalike again!!! He kept on staring, again. GOD. What is the deal. Either you make a move or you don't, but you don't make me flustered like that, please.
Then Hanom had to cabut early so I walked around with Dayah. We were at a traffic light fanning ourselves and a bunch of mats standing behind us asked, "Panas?" So I replied, "Taklah, sejuk!"
"Oh, sejuk eh, nak kipas tak?"
"Tanak ah, nak aircon!" Unfortch for me, by this time, si Dayah dah walked away from embarrassment or one of those awkward emotions. Bings aku. Buat malu aku kan. Without Dayah standing next to me I'll just look like I'm talking to thin air! Gaaaa.
I found some more cartoon raya cards near the makeshift pasar, yey. Bussed home and after that keluar rumah balik to Simpang, <3<3<3. Filled to the brim with mats, no less. Woohoooooo. There was one who looked like a boy, tapi bawak R1 seyyyy.
Here's to more cute mats next week. <3
And maybe seeing my dad-lookalike again. Haha.

Haha.

The Terrible Two is over for this week. Referring to the frightful Monday-Tuesday set I experience every school week, of course. I feel like conking out halfway through Monday and it just carries on to Tuesday, gets worse, and I'm crawling through the door at the end of the day. But it's over for this week, so I'm thankful.
I finally passed my pract 2, Alhamdulillah. The instructor made me promise to go for at least one circuit revision before I book my third pract. Like, hello. As if I would even consider not going for revision. I swear, all the cute guys are taking 2B. There was a Hello-Kitty-lookalike, and other cute derivatives. Sigh. Asal takde orang nak bebual ngan aku ni?
This month macam driving TP month. Every week when I walk in, I encounter a bunch of cars on TP. Tadi aku bored while waiting for e-brake, so I watched this test car trying to vertical-park. Unfortch, dier knocked over the pole, and I grimaced inwardly. Parking was never one of my weak spots, it was always that bloody S-course and crank course. And they continue to plague me in 2A. Okay, just the crank course anyway.
Chinese test today, and I think I might pass with the grace of God. At least I filled up most of the spaces, haha. Maybe I should just buy a coupla primary school assessment books?
Guess that's all I have for today. Bye!

Bye bye Studio 1!
In 2018, I was heading to Zumba class when I saw "The Brass Barre" printed on the directory of the same building. Immediately in...
