Heart MBB.
That's my new password, HAHA.
Anyway it was such a perfect Tuesday because ALL my favourite MBBs were in Megabites. It was like, three-plus? The cute new one with blonde hair. Khai [of course]. And Farhan [tak se-cute, but OHWELL he smiles at me, i.e. friendly]. So I skipped part of lecture to hang out a little longer at Megabites and just look at the MBBs.
Well actually I was just looking at Khai. And the new guy. I'm sorry, but Khai is so adorable and macam mischievous-looking yet marginally baik-looking at the same time, I just macam, terpukau. Haha. BUT. I spotted a ring [macam gold] on his right ring finger!!! APERNIEEEEE. Is he MARRIED? Am I in crush with a married guy? Please murder me!
Anyway yeah he smiled at me, and macam, took a double-take when he first saw me. After that he was sitting with his back to me, but he kept turning around to look at entah-aper. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
And the cute new guy was facing me, and I swear he was attempting to take photos of us with his phone. But after that he flipped the phone around and took other innocuous gambars.
Farhan came last and the first thing he did was smile at me. Farhan is cute in a geeky way. But OMG it was like Hanom's first time seeing them la, and when Khai turned around, apparently she "got the shock of her life" because he's not cute. He SO is! He's just a little skinnier these days--prolly lost weight during the holidays due to stress from not seeing me [and Amy] around. Gahahahaha.
Yesterday I went to sign up for 2A. But shhhhh don't tell anyone. Tanak jinx it. It's bad enough I have a pending court case. But I am excited, nevertheless. Alah, kalau kena revoke pun, at least I got to get a feel of a big bike, right? It won't be a complete waste, so to speak.
After that was lunch at Secret Recipe, yums. Did you know that the fish and chips doesn't come with ANY sayur at all? It's like, they crafted it specially for me or something! Haha. Ended it off with a cheesecake, aku BODOH luper nak try the affogato. Next time, perhaps.
And store meeting at night. I really missed being in GB Building. And last time Rizal was just a CLC-in-training, now he's a full-fledged CLC! I used to be so in awe of him pasal dier macam cute and eloquent. And now.. Ah, how life has changed for us all. Hahahaha. Next Thursday is the first anniversary of my working at SB-LT. Totally, right? =D
Oooh and when I was on the way home from GB, around eleven, there was macam a fire, or some similar emergency, in the area. Three fire engines, one LF, couple of firebikes, LOADS of firefighters, some diverting the traffic away... It was heaven times two. Too bad aku takleh slow down or anything, otherwise I'd be creating another catastrophe for them to deal with.
Aaaaaaand, finally this morning on the way to school I encountered some mat of indeterminate age, who appeared to be either:
(a) following me to school and then changing his mind at the last minute, when I exited, or
(b) sengaja bersaing dengan aku all the way down ECP/AYE, to see who can corner faster, selit faster, move faster in general.
I swear! There were times I went far ahead of him, till I couldn't even see him when I turned around. Then somehow he would appear a couple hundred metres down the road. Or I'd be hanging back, then he would macam slow down, with continuous mirror-checking, until aku dah catch up. *confused*
Yup that's it! This morning I saw the two largest MBBs. TAK MAIN AH. Where's my Khai?!?! [Wow, mengada-ngada..]
I write about my current obsessions and social issues I'm passionate about. Get inside the head of this Perempuan Giler Namun Tetap Fun.

Hi.
It hasn't been a terrific week or anything, but things to rejoice over:
1. Bye-bye P-plate on the 31st!!! Congrats Ain! I'm going to CDC this Wednesday, insya-Allah everything will go smoothly.
2. Wild Slumber Party at Hanom's crib on Friday night. Highlights include Underwear-Lastiking, Bra-Tossing, Pad-Throwing and a prank SMS to a random mat that went too far. Haha. Well, who knew he was having a dry season kan? We can't be held responsible for that.
3. Atikk's birthday celebration on Saturday night. Bunch of cute rider mats at Al-Ameen Bukit Timah, and after that some of us went KTV-ing. Farid, Jambang's friend, has the best effortless voice in the entire world. I want to be his girlfriend so I can listen to him serenade me every night, how's that?
4. Sunday was Aliyah's wedding and my first design wedding. Don't hate me, dak-dak cutting, but it's all so macam, cliched and contrived! And everyone's shirts look the same, regardless of design group! Plus, you can hardly read the stylised words anyway. Then I decided to imagine my mom's face if I told her to prepare for a design wedding, and I couldn't stop laughing.
5. This morning I chatted to Spinelli's guy as usual while someone else made my latte. He really really really brightens up my day. No, I'm not in love with him, thanks. But it's macam nice to have someone to talk to and exchange pleasantries with and stuff. He was talking about how I don't need braces, cos to him I look just fine or whatever. How nice.

Just dropping by.
Today I found out that one of the other four people in my Advanced Calculus class is also a Chemistry major. Tapi dier second-year la, which explains why I haven't seen him before. Haha. I know, uninteresting, but kindred spirit!
Tuesday night I hung out at my void deck with Khai [not MBB, unfortch] for like two hours, just talking. He's so cute. So cute.
I watched Mukhsin over the weekend and it has got to be the saddest movie I've ever watched in my life. *bawls* I wish I lived in a kampung and had a sweet, innocent romance with a boy two years older.
Well. Going home now. Lots to do.
Bodoh, when I come in here to print notes, takder pulak.
[Yesterday I was at Simpang and eyeing this late-twenties/early-thirties malay/serani dude who was just about the coolest thing you can imagine. Unfortch, that was about the extent of it. D= )

I had an interesting night which started with very last-minute plans to go clubbing with Rizal and Farhan. Unfortch, they spent some time trying unsuccessfully to withdraw money at three different ATM machines. And then we got to St. James at 330, when Powerhouse closes at four on Saturdays. So we headed to Clarke Quay via ECP to meet Dayah and Fang, but the Rochor exit was closed, and plus there was only one lane open on the Sheares Bridge, haha. We passed by Kallang, and there was a fire at one of the shophouses. People milling around outside and there was an LF, two firebikes, and loads of firefighters, <3!!!
Kesian the boys, all dressed up and nowhere to go. Well, they're trying again this weekend.
I accidentally flashed 850275903 unsuspecting drivers on the way to Farhan's place because my babydoll top blew up around me somewhere around Bedok. MAMPOS. And I tried, but didn't manage, to reel it back in. Haha.

So Shafa flew off this morning.
I managed to get Hanom and Atikk to make their way down to the airport at the understandably-unearthly hour of seven in the morning to send her off. It was cool. Atikk was gushing about her matair/hubby, i.e. Shafa's it-takes-30-minutes-for-him-to-look-cute-to-me cousin. Hanom and I had a snack from SB-T2, and after we bid farewell to Shafa, we waited around for Popeye's to open.
I can't believe that despite five missing teeth and a mouth full of metal [non-magnetic, btw, I tested them out at Hanom's place last night], I managed to eat through a couple of fish fillets, kulit ayam, fries, mashed potatoes and a buttermilk biscuit. Sinfully yummy, by the way. Tak regret langsung.
There was a major shortage of all the cute airport mats who brightened up my life zaman-zaman I used to study at the airport. WHAT'S THIS?!?!
It was such a gorgeous day, pity I had to go home and sleep.
I feel so empty, why is that?

Fantastic, hebat, fantastic day yesterday.
Anyway Wed night I was out the whole night, got home at five, showered and baring-baringed for half an hour, got ready and left for school. I was shattered. Reached at 715 and mercifully, Spinelli's was open, and even more mercifully, he was working. I went up and said hi and he replied hi without turning around, and then he turned and went, "Eh HI! Suara mat saleh sey!" And we talked for awhile. That so totally helped.
I think sleepy-driving is as dangerous as drink-driving.
Aku barely slept for 1.5 hrs at home, then it was off to the dentist.
Now I know why people fear dentists. That was, without a doubt, the most traumatic experience of my life. And that includes the skidding accident I had last year. Well I got a seven-day MC out of it.
So anyway, at night, aku yang stubborn ini went to Dbl O with Shafa! It was rockin', Tapi once again, I didn't get my Cute Guy of the Night. Aku tengah eyeing this guy with sharp sideburns. Hot sey. Tapi he kept disappearing. BODOH. Wasted siolsss. Anyways aku pandai, we went and retrieved our bags just before everything ended, therefore avoiding the queue.
Then we headed down to MoS to meet A'an and Khai, hehe. After that, lots of laughter, and fun, and banyak muker ngantuk-ngantuk, tak guna betul..
So that was Shafa's last night out with me. Super-fun! Can't wait for next year already!
Haha, bumped into a McDelivery mat at a red light. He smiled at me so aku senyum balik ah, pasal good mood. Guess what he asked. "Bulan-bulan bayar berapa?" Wow! Smooth line, mat McDelivery. Aku just layan je ah. Hehe.

Today we were walking back to LT27 from the toilet and Shah mati-mati nak masuk by the back, so I followed her, and we saw MBB! As in, Khai! Haha. Aku macam spontaneously peluk-ed her, and only let go when he turned around. MAMPOS.
Also, during the lecture I was dying of past embarrassment. You know, zaman-zaman we had lectures in LT27 all the time, and I had a crush on this dude called Lonerguy, but I didn't even have a chance of him looking at me, jangan kata bebual. We sat far apart, boys in a few groups, girls in one group. And today it was coincidentally like that again, so aku macam malu balik. I don't think I want to sit near him in LT27 ever.
Speaking of year one days, I was continuing the ongoing process of cleaning my room, i.e. clearing my stuff from yesteryear and I found a few goodies.
I used to get bored during lectures [okay, fine, I still do] and I'd plan my baju timetable under my normal timetable. Earrings, top, bottom, shoes and bag. I know, right? Merepeknyer aku. Now I just do it in my head like everyone else.

Well, I guess Shah got bored too. This would be a seating plan based on Shah's Nostradamus calculations. Can you see how, at the end of Raya, Shah would have been sitting with BR, and me with Lonerguy, and Amy ketinggalan? Hilarious.

Time to play Guess Whose Bike. Guess whose bike?!?!?

That has got to be the biggest, sparkliest doa-sticker I've ever seen on a bike. And, I'm pretty sure it's new.
Congratulations, the winner is Lonerguy!

Ooooooo guess what, this morning I was greeted cheerfully by Hasyim-lookalike: "Muka monyok je.. Pagi tadi tak seterika ke?"
Nat burst out laughing when I told her, but it was too early in the morning for me to appreciate the humour. Still. Loves that he's so super-friendly now.
I enjoyed a solitary caramel latte at the Breakfast Club table, and one of the new MBBs walked past. The plump one. Ohwell. It's better than nothing, right? Well then tadi after lab I went to Megabites alone to wait for Nat and Shah, and a couple of MBBs were having a late lunch at one of the larger tables with some guy. Unfortch, Khai was not one of them. They all turned to look at me, tapi aku malu, so I ignored them. Haha.
Later when the two dodols arrived, we were trying to find a bigger table and they chose that moment to leave. Itu pun macam terhegeh-hegeh nak belah. The less-cute one [who's also one of the two original MBBs, the other one being Khai] smiled at me, LOTS OF TIMES. So aku smiled back la. What am I supposed to do, stick out my tongue? The other newer MBB--who was with him--is cute though, with dyed-blond hair and a Fai face.
I love my MBBs. Amy are you jealous yet?
But I still like Khai best. Maybe it's the shy smile he reserves for us. You know, macam it fools you [or me, at least] into thinking that dier baik after all. I'm into baik mats now. Not like Shafa, who goes for matrips. *giggle*
Just now on the way home, jam giler bapak, and lots of bikes yang irritatingly taknak selit quickly enough! Dahlah pantat aku cramp and bag aku berat. But this uncle on an FBC plate gave way to me, so nice!
Friday night, Hafez the Cute paid a visit to store, with his brother. Sorry, I still think he's cute. *sticks out tongue*
Saturday night, I went clubbing with Shafa. In her words, awesome. First it was The Pump Room, which, admittedly, had great music but HORRIBLE crowd. Well, horrible to a 20-year-old mat-lover like me. Haha. You know, angmohs and other assorted foreigners, all above the age of thirty. There was some Indon-looking pakcik waving his arms [to the music] THE WHOLE TIME. There was a pair of forty-something ladies dancing next to us and Shafa was screaming, "God, asal mak-mak kau sebok ni? How OLD are they?"
After that we convinced each other to go MOS, ah I love you MOS. Cinta and rindu. MOS rocked balls. And that's all I'll say here. Let's just say that I'm not the Good Girl Gone Bad.
Can the Good Girl Gone Bad go back, anyway?

From Friday night of the National Day weekend: clubbing with Shafa, DeeDee and Atikk. Not enough mats, not enough great music, not enough space, but it got better in the end. Haha.

On Friday right, I went public to school. It's one of the rare times I go public, betul tak? So anyway, there were macam 89487278503 thousand ITE mats, whee! Of course, as the years go by, the age gap between me and ITE mats grows ever wider. Haha. Anyways, I was all happy and buoyant when the train broke down at Eunos. Therefore, we all had to get out and troop into the next train, and I had to stand for the entire freaking ride.
Look, aku budak Pasir Ris. I'm used to maybe not getting a seat home from school, but I'm also used to getting a seat from home to school. THEREFORE, what the hell!??! When I stepped off the 95, I was in a bad mood.
Then I bumped into four [yes, FOUR] MBBs outside LT27. I macam, stared in shock, then I recovered to realise that Khai was one of them, so I smiled at him, and OMG he smiled back laaa! Oh, hidup ini hebat.
I went to LT25, joined the rest in trooping to LT27, then rushing back to LT22. BINGIT balik. Then he decided to introduce this little gadget:

I felt like Adam Sandler's character in Click. Totally, right? It's used to transmit your responses to a live quiz, for our midterms later.
Random mat: "Excuse me, do you have a lighter?"
Me & Shafa: "No, sorry, we don't smoke."
Random mat: [without missing a beat] "Oh, can you teach us to quit?"
It was like 5 a.m. on Friday night/Sat morning and we were walking from Forum to store. By virtue of his very original and amusing comment, we spared him and his friends a few minutes in the ambience of our ardor. [Whatever THAT means. Haha.] One of them kept teasing me and accusing me of staring at me with my "mata nakal" under my "rambut cute".
?!?!?!
Saturday, the Ikea men came over and my room went from this:

to this:

Isn't it rockin'?!?! I still have a lot of tidying up to do, but it'll look pretty much like that anyway, when I'm done. It so totally does not feel like my room, it's more like waking up in a hotel room every morning [or afternoon, actually, to be realistic]. Wonder how long that feeling will last, anyway.
Well Nat finally finished lab [which I proudly finished an hour ago!], so gots to go, but I'll be back to blog about my Wild Weekend later. Bye!

Apa khabar friends?
Yesterday at work I became a stand-in LC because there were three new partners and only three non-new-non-manager partners. Since I was one of the latter group, terpakselah aku coach Benjamin. SO WEIRD. I'm really not made to teach, as people like Fana can testify. But it was fun. It meant I got to hang around in the back room [not a big loss last night cos tak ramai orang], and takyah buss AT ALL! Omg Heaven.
Well I was scheduled to end at ten, on the [very sincere!] premise that I had to get home early and sleep early in preparation for my 8 a.m. class today. But then, as I was about to change, my Cute Boy called! Aku pun aper lagi.. Hopped and jumped and danced around crazily, screaming when I finally put down the phone, and dolled up for a night out at.. Geylang.
Haha. No it's not what you think. They were having supper at some coffeeshop. So I met up with them there. It's still weird looking at Farhan, because of his great resemblance to Abdillah. Difference is, I have no feelings for Farhan la. Haha. Anyway all the guys were asking me about Wani, and fighting over hypothetical situations in which they get to sit next to her. Sound familiar?
[Ooh sidetrack kejap. It was surprisingly a comfortable and un-hassling ride home after school on Tuesday. Walaupun peak hour and all. Anyway, I got chatted up at the White Sands Primary traffic light by a couple of van men [from Too Phat's Just A Friend, geddit?!?!]. Haha. Tak hodoh-nak-muntah, so overall it was flattering. Haha.]
We didn't stay long cos Farhan was bugging us to go home, which suited me fine actually cos, you know, dah almost midnight and I was due to wake up at five in the a.m.!
Clearly, takder one-on-one time with Cute Boy, but maybe it's for the best. We have years ahead of us, right?
Ohyeah speaking of Farhan, he's looking to sell his [white] SP. Anyone interested?
This morning Alfian was smartly-dressed for his EURIP presentation. What a pleasant first! Except, by his own admission, he was near-to-bursting out of his clothes. HEHE.
I secretly love my Advanced Calculus lectures [so far] because it's so macam, cosy, and I've yet to fall asleep despite the horrible timing and perfect settings! Haha. My lecturer's super-nice and patient, and guess what, we won't even have separate tutorial slots, they'll just be squeezed into the second hour of the second lecture slot. TOTALLY.
I'm so sleepy and I still have like two hours to kill and no one to spend them with. And I think it's still raining, so I'm pretty much grounded. BODOHNYER.
Haha. The PostSecret Mini-Movie
PostSecret is the site of my weekly therapy. You should try it too.
I met up with my Cute Boy last night. Skejap je. Kat bawah block [aku]. There was this abandoned sofa there, kebetulan, so we just sat there and talked awhile. There's a little bit of sandiwara going on in his life, so he had to go home and settle it.
My dreams have been restless and more merepek of late.
I'm highly bored and kepingin right now, but Chinese was pretty fun. There are actually real-life cute guys in the class, and it's not overpopulated by Vietnamese/Malaysian Chinese/Indonesian Chinese overachievers like last year. Sorry, but it's not fair right? Buat stress diri buat pe. Just take it as it comes along la.
I'm crapping.
Guess who I parked next to just now. Heh. [Not Allan Wu again!] He still elicits a scream and a smile from me after all these YEARS, amazingly.

First day of school, but it's so surreal, I expect to wake up anytime.
Breakfast Club has been disbanded because of clashes in schedule. But it didn't stop me from reaching school at 720 and going to our table and sitting down and staring into space. Yes, I really did that. Nak blajar, nak blajar aper? So I just sat there.
The first friendly face I saw was actually that of Hasyim-lookalike, who waved to me as I walked past. WAVED! Wow. That's an event in itself, really. Anyway I waited for 730 [cos that's when they officially open] and I walked over. He was arranging tables, and he smiled and started talking to me once I was within earshot.
"Hey, back at school?"/"You changed your hairstyle, huh?"/"Let me guess.. Caramel?"/"Asal muker muram je?"/etc. WOW he speaks malay to me now!
Oh, I'm the only one left in the mornings now, I replied, because I still have 8 a.m. lectures. Haha.
Speaking of 8 a.m. lectures, mine was attended by a grand total of five students in one of the seminar rooms at S16. MAMPOS. But it was alright, I suppose. The tiny class size means that he'll print our notes for us at no cost, and I guess every day will feel like a tutorial. Plus you have no excuse to fall asleep. Anyway half the time I'm struggling to understand, and the other half, I'm furiously copying notes.
Yesterday I went for an x-ray for the incoming braces. After that we went shopping at Ikea. And I mean shopping. We were there from 5-10 p.m., giving final once-overs to beds, tables, shelves and armchairs. Picking out curtain colours, bedspreads, loading abovementioned perabots onto a total of three carts. NOT including the shopping cart loaded with the smaller stuff. Thank God I decided to wear Birkenstocks pasal my mom was complaining about how her step-orthopedic slippers were killing her feet.
Moment of Kembangness: I was standing around waiting for the rest, and the semi-cute Ikea mats walked past me in a bunch, exclaiming loudly, "Eh, cute ah pompan ni.. Cute lah girl ni.." On TWO separate occasions, in TWO different aisles. *giggles annoyingly* I'm cute!
I'm getting a yellow wood four-poster, with a purple bedspread and possibly orange curtains. And this $500 rocking armchair I was drooling over a few weeks back. HEHE. It was further knocked down by 50 bucks.
But seriously, I was pancit even before the dentist. Cos on Saturday night I went out with Cute Boy, as usual. And his friends. And Shafa. And he likes me! Cute Boy, I mean. Can you believe it? Because I still can't! Ever since he told me, I've been drifting off at random moments, thinking to myself, Oh, so when he did so-and-so, it was because he liked me! Haha.
We went to Mustafa Centre, where the baggage counter guy was macam flirting with me, and since I was in a buoyant mood, aku layan, and then he said, "Takpelah nanti you nyer abang marah kan?" I just laughed and said yes. HAHA. Then we went to ECP and lepak sampai pagi. Breakfast at Simpang, where Shafa and I were ridiculed for our English and for eating mutton chop in the morning. Whatever, boys.
So since I only got home at eight in the morning, siler faham why I was so tired yesterday. Not that anyone cares.
It feels funny going through the routine of
1. Spinelli's coffee
2. Lectures
3. Printing at scilips
4. Blogging in the science CBLC
alone. Oh I was gonna take the SciPhi organiser, which is SO CUTE this year, but the queue was centuries long, so takperlah. I'm headed to pick up chinese books next.
Did I mention that Cute Boy has the hugest eyes with the longest, curliest lashes? Well. He does.

The days seem to fuse together. Prolly something to do with going out at 11 at night and getting back at six in the morning, getting four hours of sleep, and going out again.
Yesterday I went clubbing with DeeDee, Atikk and Shafa. DeeDee was amazing, she macam scored like three different guys without doing anything! Haha. I bumped into Derrick, Zester and Sally, in that order, and separately, of course.
I would like to apologise to Shafa for traumatising her with that guy Afardt. I should have warned her, or at least allowed her to get lost. Haha. Persistent, that guy is. I was messaging Rizal AND Cute Boy while we were dancing and dier still tak kisah. His friend looks about 7-12 years old, with teeth that stick out around 20 mm. Anyway, where was I. Yeah. Persistent. Followed us to the locker. Followed us out. Waited for me to finish talking on the phone, then asked for my number. And begged me to cancel my plans with the rest so I could hang out with them instead.
Sorry Shafa. I guess I was just macam celebrating the fact that I'm happily single at last. Haha. Zest was asking me, "Where's your boyfriend?" --"Dunno, broke up! Hehe! I'm free!"
But truth be told, I was missing Cute Boy the whole time we were on the dancefloor.
The music was alright, I suppose. Mendak at times, and once they actually played a selection of songs from our secondary school days. DeeDee was really going wild. Haha. Atikk and I togoked two fruit punches in a row. Yums giler fruit punch dier, tak macam MOS nyer, they have trimmings like cherries and a lemon slice.
We left at like three-plus gitu, pasal DeeDee da penat, and plus they finally played Beautiful Girls, haha. Cute Boy came down with Rizal, Ariff and their friend Hidir to send me home. Yessahhhh! We went for supper at 897 at Geylang, pastu balek ah.
He's so skinny I could prolly wrap my arms around him twice. He went, "Okaylah gi tido sana, I'll see you soon." --"Biler tu soon?"
I'm trying to get him to stop smoking. Tapi dier degil. Boys.

The good word for today is kemaruk.
My National Day didn't start off too well, but it got better at the end. I enjoyed Live The Dream, at least, and Noel's audition cracked my brother up. HAHA. Cute la si giler tu. [Noel, not my brother.] I thought Joakim's father was great, but I guess there are only so many spaces. Also, the twins [Zaki and Raki, or however you spell it] pun did not get through, too bad. Haha. The first time I ever went to Simpang was with them! And my sister, and my brother, of course. But it's funny to think about it.
Anyway after beribu-ribu tahun, when I'd finally given up hope, Cute Boy gave me a call. Dier baru balik JB, or some such. Then he said something about calling back, so I waited some more. Tapi dah tak tahan, so I messaged him. And he called, asking me why I didn't call him back. Wow. Boleh jadi giler. Anyway he asked me to meet him in half an hour.
So we met at Bedok Reservoir again and went to join the rest at Jalan Sultan. As is usual with these guys, we threw around the question "Aper plan?" every five minutes, but never came up with an answer. Finally they decided to play pool at Marine Parade. Okay cool.
You know me. I never play pool. But I don't mind watching cute guys. HAHA. Well si bodoh Cute Boy nak belah siang, so I asked him to accompany me to the toilet, and he actually waited for me sia. Then I very gatal-ly asked for a lift to the clinic for the next day [today].
That's not all, when I got home, I thought I saw someone who looked like him, so aku CALL DIER! My policy, in general, is "NEVER CALL THE GUY", but I completely and utterly broke it last night.
But at least I went to bed smiling.
Ohyeah the other guys were clamouring for me to intro my NUS friends to them. Giler. What am I, the universal matchmaker? What's the attraction, anyway?
I was pleasantly surprised this morning when he messaged me, asking me to wait, because he was coming to pick me up. Alamak cutenyer. Sanggup sey. I would have been fine taking the bus. I mean, aku just asked him on the off-chance that he might, and I guess I was just flirting a little.
He didn't just drop me off at the clinic, he actually accompanied me inside, and waited with me and we read magazines together and drooled over the cars in Torque. Then we went for a late brunch at Simpang [again], and he dropped me off just now before he went to pray.
Like I said before, I LOVE guys who sembahyang Jumaat.
Something's happening here. It's not wishful thinking on my part. Something is happening. The question that remains is whether or not he's just playing. And the other question, whether I would care if he was just playing.
Haha yesterday Rizal was telling me to ask my friends to go clubbing with them on Saturday, because he'd send one of them home for sure. So I retorted, "Oh, aku mintak tumpang tak boleh eh?!?!" and he looked all sheepish. I still wouldn't mind, you know. It IS a hot bike.

Dah lama tak kerje, it felt macam abit weird gitu.. Haha.. But you know, I didn't make any huge mistakes or anything. I was missing a few people though. Dan, obviously. Caramel brothers, of course. Stuff like that.
I got POS as usual but had to close after barely three hours BODOH pasal I "made too much money already". It wasn't horribly busy though, which for me was unexpected, considering, you know, holiday eve and all. I mean, it's even possible that it's busier on normal Wednesdays. Ohwell. Not complaining, really.
Dayah came down with Arliana, Wani and Azza around the time I knocked off. We hung out for awhile, but well, they had prior plans and stuff so I didn't take up too much of their time. Mostly we played Guess-This-Person's-Age, and Are-You-Attracted-To-Farid. HAHA.
Azim came down with Rizal, Rudy and erm, the guy who lives in Bedok, whatever his name is. Luper ah. Hehe. Sorry. So I hung out with them pulak. Then another dude, Hidayat, joined us. Wondering where Cute Boy is? He was under house arrest by Azim, cos he had a sort-of accident yesterday afternoon. [Which he didn't even bother to tell me about. -_-]
Well, then we wanted to move off already but there was a roadblock at the carpark again [unsurprisingly], and Bedok guy macam ketakutan cos of his pipe, so we sorta lingered. By the time they decided to belah, and where to go, I'd decided to go down to Simpang to meet Cute Boy. [He'd cut the lock at his disc brake.] I mean, come on! The choice was clear.
1. Hang out with Cute Boy, near home.
2. Hang out with Cute Boy's friends, all over the island.
It had to be number one.
Gitu-gitu je, nothing exciting sangat. And no, I don't have plans for tomorrow. But it's okay, I guess.
[I smell like Naz cos tadi I wore her perfume, haha. I was reading Cosmo and it's interesting how we just associate scents with people.]
Oh and I got Chinese, YESSSS! But I don't know for how much cos malas nak check.

WHEEEEEE!!!
Hello friends!
Today was the Career Workshop thingy-wingy. Guess who was there. Mr Lonerguy himself! So cute. But he didn't bother to catch up with us, ohwell. And I forgot what it was like to sit in during lectures, fighting the sleep from your eyes. NOW I remember.
In the middle of the workshop, I got a pleasant surprise when Cute Boy messaged. I jumped up and down [inwardly]. We exchanged messages for awhile, then he said, "K adios!" so I said take care and decided that was the end of our pow-wow for the day.
Nat rode us home, and back at the playground, I realised he messaged me again asking where I was. Another exchange followed, which resulted in him asking me to hang out at Tampines. And of course, why would I refuse?
I mandied and made up and applied body lotion and sprayed on perfume, pretended not to know where As-Salihin was when he called, which resulted in him offering to come meet me at my place. Heh. He showed up on the green M. SO ADORABLE.
Adorable when he was looking for parking spaces, adorable when he found one for himself and started looking for one for me, and adorable when he decided to share that parking space with me. I wish I'd taken a photo, but I didn't have the balls to.
Today he didn't wear a cap.
"Asal tak pakai cap?" -"Alah, malam-malam buat aper pakai cap?"
He was wearing the same shoes he wore the first time we met.
"Kata malam-malam tak pakai kasut?" -The most adorable smile in return.
We joined Rizal and um, Rudy, I think his name is. Cute Boy then proceeded to tell them about how we'd spent the entire day together yesterday. Within my listening range. So, you know, it prolly means that it didn't mean anything to him, therefore he doesn't like me?
They call me Ain Degil now.
Ooh and Cute Boy asked if we wanna go riding on National Day. I told them I don't have Baby on that day, and he was like, "Alah, ada dua 400, pilih je satu.." upon which I gave Rizal the sweetest smile I could muster, prompting him to exclaim, "Eh, asal kau tengok aku gitu? Jangan tengok aku gitu!" Haha.
After that, we went to Tampines Mall and met up with Azim. But you know, by then, all the shops were closed. Ohwell. Anyway, I committed a huge boo-boo when I stuck out a hand to keep Cute Boy from being run into by a car. BODOHNYER AKU!!! EVERYONE saw it!!!
I got them some free drinks at Starbucks, and felt another tersentak moment when he came in to.. Accompany me? Help me carry the three drinks? Amek aircon? Prevent me from flirting with other guys? [HAHA.]
Then Farhan joined us, but I didn't know it was Farhan, I thought it was just some random friend of theirs, so I pretty much died when he sat down, took off the shades/specs, and I found myself staring into what looked like Lonerguy. He's a dead ringer for Lonerguy, I swear. Except for the gigis. Haha.
I don't really have much to say around them, but I dunno. Still macam fun. Being with them and all. Except that I used to hate seeing satu-pompan-banyak-lelaki groups, and now I'm that girl I hate!
Excitingly enough, as we left [he carried my bag for me, but got embarrassed halfway and begged me to take it back], I bumped into Yan and Aisyah [what's her butch name again?] outside BK. Yan is so adorable with those cheeks la. Talked to them, because wow I really missed them, it transpires. Aisyah brought up the times of when she was still a girl and I couldn't stop laughing for nuts.
There was this beyond-surreal moment when we were lined up, the six of us, at the front of the red light.
It ended great, because when I got home, he messaged, saying that if I wanna join them on Thursday, I can just choose someone to give me a ride. So I replied, "Nak ikut! Pillion u ah!" OMG someone slap me, I'm such a shameless floozy.
I know. He might not like me the way I like him, of course. But who knew one person could get me smiling all day, every day?
Thank you Dayah for being the reason we met.

I'm back, and happier than ever.
Was at Hanom's for a pow-wow session with Atikk. Yoyo guest-starred, and please don't believe the photos because he's much cuter and cooler-looking in real life. Tak gunalah camera kau Hanom.
We exchanged stories. So diverse, and so interesting, all of them.
I was macam grinning to myself because I was thinking of Cute Boy. I had this wild idea that since we were practically in the same area of this island, and we had like 40-something clicks in the same direction to travel, that we could sort-of-kind-of head home together.
But I was afraid to pitch that wild idea to him, so Atikk volunteered. Well, I started spontaneously thrashing around on Hanom's bed, causing everyone in general to panic, and Atikk to barricade herself in the toilet with my phone, smsing him to meet me at Hanom's place so we could go home together.
I was ready to thank her for her initiative, when I realised that she added a muack-face at the end of the message! I DIED!!! And started thrashing around again! But OMG he replied [unleashing another series of fits from me], asking me to wait for him to get back to mainland. I died again, hugged Atikk, and we promptly fell on the bed together. BAD PHOTOGRAPH OPPORTUNITY.
The rest of the minutes involved me seriously doubting he'd turn up, but OMG, he did la. He was sitting at the void deck calmly smoking when we finally hauled our asses downstairs. And I don't know why, but the sight of his cikeding self with that cute face, just sitting there, made me tersentak for a moment.
I effected the necessary introductions, fretted inwardly that he might fall for Hanom, then went off to start the bike.
He's just too cute.
He remembered nonsense things that I said earlier today! [Something about how I like to dress up at night, i.e. no slippers.]
Peaceful ride; he said bye when we reached his exit, and sped off. I was basically smiling all the way back home. Thank GOD tak banyak vehicles on the road.
Best of all, there was a follow-up message. :D
Okay, I'm so sorry aku giler. I know there's no way in hell he could like me, because I'm who I am, and plus he's macam how old and I'm how old, and like, you know. Cute fun people who won't potentially turn psycho don't usually like me for myself.
But right here, right now, it's fun being out with him, and talking to him, or just messaging him.
So I'm trying not to think too much. Which is a little hard cos I always think too much.
Saturday, you couldn't come quickly enough!

Okay, I'm sorry, I had such a fantastic weekend, everyone has to know about it.
Well I didn't expect it to be a fantastic weekend, considering what happened on Friday night, but it WAS, okay? I prayed, and God provided.
I started the weekend late on Saturday, after maghrib. Brought a book just in case, and headed to store an hour early to meet Dayah. Sat around outside with a soy hot chocolate, until it was time to meet her. Berpusing-pusing awhile at City Hall area cos well, I didn't really know how to get to Esplanade from town.
She was with Mahmud and a few of his friends, AND Figa and some of his friends. I didn't recognise Figa, so I thought they were all in the same group, and I stupidly waited for Figa's group to move off, thereby embarrassing myself infront of [or rather, behind] the cute scrambler mat.
We went to Bedok, to meet more of Mahmud's friends, and the seven of us [or so] went to Changi for someone's BBQ pit. [Someone turned out to be this girl Nora and her dad, or something.] On the way, I wanted to isi minyak, but Dayah is Esso and I'm Shell, so I told them to go ahead and I'd catch them up or something. Dayah told M Dude to accompany me, so I zoomed off, expecting him to follow. When I turned around at a red light, it was Mahmud who was following me. *dies*
At Changi, I played on the swings, had fun, and waited for them to decide where to go next.
Un-understanding Dayah then wanted to call up Figa and meet him instead, while I tried to indicate to her with my eyes that I wanted to stay with Mahmud. She didn't get the hint, but relented anyway. So we followed them to Fort Road, where we met up with even more friends of theirs. So now I think there's at least eleven of us, I'm not sure.
Sat around for awhile, and then we headed for [final destination] Bukit Timah's Al-Ameen, detouring at the Kent Ridge bends. I tried my best to keep up, and was subsequently accused of being "degil" by Mahmud and Azim. How embarrassing. Previously only Mat accused me of being degil.
At Al-Ameen, Mahmud and Azim were picking on me half the time, while I tried to convince Rizal [on my other side] to give me a lift on his hot bike, and also to quit smoking around me.
Finally, rode home with half of them, and sat around talking at Esso for an hour with Dayah.
I've completely disregarded the part about the 100 missed calls.
Well I reached home slightly after subuh, and I decided to message Mahmud because he gave me a missed call for no apparent reason earlier. Somehow we made plans to meet up later that day [that's earlier today] to go to Ah Boy and buy stuff and get over to Dayah's place and cosmetically fix her bike [which he'd sat on last night, toppling it, and breaking a few appendages].
And somehow, after that we [minus Dayah] went for a late lunch. Met up with Azim, and went to Bugis just to walk around. And somehow I'm home, and it feels like Friday night never happened, and looking forward to this Saturday, when I'll get to see them again.
I've omitted most of the emotional bends I was going through, but just trust me when I say that ultimately, I feel terrific.

Woohoo yesterday was Dbl O. Last time I went there, we met Ninja. Haha. Anyway. We got there a little late, so macam tak puas when everything ended at 230. The customary long and suffocating queue for bags near the toilets, as usual. And I bumped into Shakilah from primary school. I can't believe she remembers me. Well, I'd rather her, than all the noisy screaming minahs and their boyfriends.
The music was great, although towards the end they played some stuff which I embarrassingly could not recognise. There was this manjen dude who spoke some malay and introed himself to us. Haha. TAK CUTE, and so glad he got the hint and moved away.
There were also these two malay dudes who were dancing next to us the whole time. Semi-cute, actually. One of them never stopped dancing. It was quite cute.
But yeah, that was it. When we left, I saw like a billion SOC dudes outside, along with the police bus or whatever, AND an ambulance parked outside with flashing lights. Along with the usual one or two patrol cars. SO EXCITING. You know me, as long as it doesn't involve me personally, I'll be fascinated for as long as you'll let me.
Dbl O has a smoking room, but I didn't dare venture inside, cos I was walking towards it, and I was like 50 metres away when I could already smell extra-concentrated cigarette smoke wafting out the cracks of the door. The room was packed with people cramped on the floor and every other available surface, actively destroying their lungs.
So they elected to smoke outside instead.
We tried finding another club that opened past three, that would let us in free, but well, takder. So we went home, after interacting with four mats, one of whom was riding a super four.

Ha. Yesterday was the first time I went clubbing since the glorious July 1 smoking ban. It's like wow, you step in, and everything smells SO good! It's great. My clothes smell great, my hair smells great, everything smells great and of course, the risk of my getting lung cancer isn't increased by any degree.
We went to Butter Factory, which was fun, if different. Then we tried going to MoS but even though it was hardly three, the awnings were down, so macam weird, so we went to Velvet Dragon instead.
Which looks--and feels--almost exactly the same as Momo. Except this time there were only about 50 people or less around. What happened to everyone else?!?!?! Well there was that cute guy from St. James, who tried to get off with Az. I see him everywhere, it's like a disease.
oooOOOooo and we made a stop by store first, and there was this cute guy walking to the carpark, and I couldn't help it, I smiled and him, and he smiled back! Lovesloves people who smile at me.

Finally. I've settled all my modules. It gets harder every year, I swear. And every year I forget what the graduation requirements are. So I have to dig up the 05/06 NUS Bulletin from the depths of the website and trawl through the 300-something pages.
Well, I've fulfilled [or am about to fulfill] all the specified requirements, so the rest just need to be filled in by UEs, which are essentially anything, right?
And with 900 points in my general account, I pray to God I'll get Chinese II this year.
Life sucks actually, but I don't like blogging about negative stuff like I once said. So I keep everything light and airy here.
I've started eating granola cereal at least once a day. Not intentionally, but it's such a yummy snack that now I look forward to when there's nothing to eat, so I can eat my granola with milk. Yums.
I'm not working anymore, pasal malas and I need a real break before school starts. But you know, when school starts, obviously I'll start working again. I just need an escape now, that's all.
I'm poor and I'm bored, so if anyone is boxed in by similar circumstances, please ask me out for a cheap date.
Love, me.
p.s. I was browsing through my labels and realised that I really miss MBB. I hope he'll be around when we get back to school.

Last night was the most exciting night of my life!
Okay no, but it was one of the most exciting nights I've had in a long time.
Leaving carpark from work at around one, and was snared in a roadblock at that same carpark. Was virtually ignored by everyone, until one dude decided to ask me whether I'd been cleared.
It was hot though. There were like three expressway patrol cars [or whatever], maybe three ROV bikes and two TP bikes. And there were more of them around the area. A few drivers being delayed pasal keretas modified sangat I suppose. Riders kena marah for tinted helmets. One car drove in and one of the officers quipped, "Wah this one confirm bring back one la!"
I was completely clean, btw. HA!
Went to Vivo and waited outside St. James and OMG, three TPs pulling up next to us. Again, ignored, and buat semak, so I sat down on the kerb and pulled out my handphone. I was quite annoyed by this time. Finally the third dude was done with my friend so I stood up and he smiled at me. In an instant all my annoyance evaporated and my heart melted at the same time and I smiled nervously back at him. He checked my papers, pronounced me good to go, and OMG again, that smile!
I couldn't resist so I snapped a photo when he wasn't looking. This means, of course, that it's a photo of his back, but WHO CARES? I just want a memento of that pleasant encounter. His name, btw, is Ahmad Elmi, which is so cute macam dier jugak! And I'm sorry if he's macam married or something, but Zul [who's married] told me there's nothing wrong with that, SO THERE.
I really hope we meet again [under similar pleasant circumstances], Ahmad Elmi.
[Oh yeah that was followed by Mount Faber, a teeny amount of supper, fifteen minutes waiting at the road shoulder, and finally home.]

I feel like doing an Awun and screaming at the TV, "WHAT love? WHAT love?!?!"
But other than that, I'm great, thanks for asking.
I went shopping with the welcome accompaniment of Hanom-Banom just now, and I actually maxed out my debit card and had to borrow a hundred bucks from her. Thanks Hanom.
We had lunch at Fish & Co. Served by the weirdest waiter in the world. And I'm being kind. When he first spoke to us, I swear I thought he was taking the mickey. But he kept up the gay-step-stewardess-complete-with-slight-bow-and-emotive-words act the WHOLE time. I was really quite unnerved. And Hanom was no help. The moment he opened his mouth, she was already getting ready to laugh. Oh Ali was there. He is still too, too adorable.
Yesterday was a night at Simpang after so long. It was lovely. I'd almost forgotten how much I love that place. Cute mats everywhere, like we don't get at store. A couple of them attempted to tail us home, but gave up halfway for I don't know WHAT reason!!! Ohwells. Anyways, slenger dude told us that Fakhrul's on holiday, so I can't wait till he gets back to work.
I can't believe school's starting soon. Not looking forward to it, really. And I'm so poor now it's not even funny.

I was at the carpark after work at around one in the morning, and I was smiling to myself because there was a pair of TP hanging around the carpark to conduct checks on the cars. I found it SO HILARIOUS because
(a) not only were there at least two large groups of people hanging around furtively, unwilling to get into their clearly-souped-up cars for fear of being inspected,
(b) but also because I really do hate these groups of earsplitting-engine cars that meet up in that carpark and then go zooming off somewhere else, in a creeping, annoying, noisy line. Like I'm not deaf enough already.
I mean, I actually saw one of the TPs under the hood of a car. Gahahahahaha. Good job! At least I know they're doing something other than antagonising me in the middle of the night at freaking Lim Chu Kang.
Okay, sorry. But really, the groups of modified cars really annoy me! They're noisy, step, AND they blind me to no end with their stupid high-intensity whatever foglights. HELLO. Did I miss any weather reports of foggy conditions? Takder pon. And you can't say I'm being hypocritical because Baby is a black bike with normal lights and I don't have an annoying speaker either. PLUS I don't ride around in groups of ten, blocking three lanes of major roads in the process. *nyehnyeh*
Oh dear this really turned into a tirade against annoyingbodykittedsportscars, didn't it? Well. I speak out against PDA too, sometimes. So. Haha. [If you don't get it, it's fine.]
I really think I should stop being so hate-able at work. I get annoyed at the stupidest things, and then I get annoying myself. Like the other day, a deaf customer who refused to respond to my calls of his java chip frap. So I went: "Hi, java chip frappuccino! [no response] Hi, java chip frappuccino! [no response] Hi, java chip frappuccino! [no response]" I was actually about to launch into a third chant, but Don made me stop. And the cute guy infront of him was laughing.
Today I was annoyed again. I made two venti chocolate cream chips and I was calling them out. "Chocolate cream chip! [no response] [in two decibels lower] Okay, ignore me.." YZ had a talk with me after that because apparently the guy was there and he was sniggering. Wow, you can snigger at my comments but you can't respond when I call your drink?
I haven't seen Dan in awhile, I wonder where he disappeared to.
The US Navy is in town. You can always tell. They're in the trains, in the clubs, in my store asking for white chocolate mocha and paying with Navy credit cards. It always breaks my heart a little to say that we don't have white chocolate in Singapore. I mean, having tasted the Spinelli's one--and subsequently drinking at least one each day--it's my favourite, too.
I missed venti no-whip add-sleeve caramel frap guy today because he came by earlier, apparently. =( He's really such a pleasant fixture to look at. I hope he'll be around tomorrow.
Okaylah tu je. I've been wanting to go for a secret shopping spree [secret because my boyfriend shouldn't know about it] but seriously, no time. I wake up just in time for work, and by the time I'm done, the shops are closed. I've been wanting to eat at Fish&Co too, but same setback.
Excuse me, cute guys, please apply at SB-LT. I'm dying of boredom and non-hesitation here. And "Can you STOP hiring girls?!?!" has become a daily chant by me to the managers.
Well that's it bye.

Ha! I'm back!
Both Caramel Brothers are here, I am so in love right now it's not even funny. But if I really had to choose, I'd pick the younger one. Both of them are waaay cool without even trying, but the younger one is hip-hoppy. The older one looks like he might crush me in bed [if he even deigned to get in bed with me, which is so not happening, so don't worry], so that makes him second pick.
My brother is stuck at home with chicken pox, and guess what. I've never actually had chicken pox before in my life, so I'm kind of at risk here. They say it gets more unbearable as you grow older. And although I had a chicken pox vaccine before one of my major exams [Primary Six or Sec Four], I'm still a little worried.
Oooh. Yesterday I finally hit Ikea Tampines since it opened. It's huge. There was this four-poster bed display that I fell in love with. It's just so fresh and charming. And there was a $600 rocking-sofa-chair which I almost bought with my own money. Once you get on it, you'll never want to get up. They're discontinuing the line, so if I really want to get it, I better get it quick. If any hot, rich guys out there are secretly in love with me, now's the time to come out, okay?
I have mottled [?] skin from a five-hour tanning session. It's so sad. I hope that one day it'll get back to normal. You know, if there's any disease I might die of, I think it would be skin cancer.
I haven't watched any movie in months, it feels. So sad.
OOOOOOOHHH on Saturday the hockey boys were in store. You know, Aidil and friends. Unfortch, I only know Aidil personally, so too bad. Haha. But I have to say, seeing a certain Pasir Ris-ian again was great. He still looks as hot as he ever did. I'm trying to recall the details involving the first time I saw him, but I can't seem to. It wasn't on the train, right? That was another guy. Hmmm.
Sometimes I miss those public transport days. Just sometimes.
Speaking of public transport, yesterday I was on 12 home from City Hall, and a few banglas were on it too. Then there was this chinese auntie-ish [around 30s or 40s, I know she has a talking son] who I swear was trying to pick up one of them. She was basically making conversation with him, asking him about his phone line, and whether he can cook or not, and how he would rate his cooking. It was just highly distracting listening to all that. I mean, she has a son. WHY is she trying to pick up a bangla worker. Or what could all her constant questioning mean, if she's not trying to pick him up?
Wow. I thought it'd be hard getting back into this blogging thing, but it's not. I've been flooding the partners' comm book with "entries", just cos it's easier to write there. No tagboard, no internet access requirement..
And now my alarm is going off so I gots to go. BYE.

Just dropping a note from Andy's laptop at work. Haha.
I'm still sick, it's so annoying. Yesterday I tried on about six dresses and a romper from River Island and I bought one of them. Plus a pair of Jellies in transparent. Modern-day Cinderella slippers. When I was younger they didn't have any big enough for my large child feet, so I'll get them now to make up for it.
I can't buy sale items cos mostly they don't have my size. But it's okay. I don't mind buying full-priced items. I don't like sale crowds anyway. Actually I don't like any kind of crowd except for the mid-sized clubbing crowd. Haha.
Also, I haven't been clubbing since the stupid ban, sedihnyer. So much for my plans to go check out the scene after the smoking ban. I was SO excited about it. Ohwell.
Okay my break's up, bye.

Don't say you will, if you won't.
Just a little something I live by.
So it's been a while since I last blogged, and I guess it took a huge thing to irk me badly enough to blog here.
Yesterday was the big day. I invited a few close friends, because, you know, it's not my wedding, and I even sent a couple of them real invitations, through the mail. This was at least a month ago, and then I bumped into another friend a week or so back, and I invited him too.
But wow, the one who showed up fifteen minutes before it started was the last-minute invite, my beloved Dodol and his girlfriend! Followed [hours apart] by Amin and Hanom.
Well, you know, it's an invitation and all, so you have every right, and then some, to decline. But I invited you, and you said yes, and some even followed up with offers of helping, etc. Friday night I was messaging and calling everyone, because Dodol was the only one who contacted me first. And nobody replied. Till like, two in the morning; noon the next day! So like, what were you doing when I called, anyway? You slept at midnight and woke up at noon?
So, what did you do, you forgot? Wow. If I invite you to my wedding, will you forget about it too? I wouldn't be surprised, really. There were even a couple of them who didn't turn up and didn't bother telling me.
Considering everyone accepted the invitation gracefully [and considering how we all attended Otam's wedding the other time with much anticipation], I was completely appalled.
It's just plain rude, is what it is.
And now I can really have a small wedding, no worries.
Malas to dwell on it, cos ugly thoughts make you uglier. But let's say now I know who I can count on.

I've been wanting to do this post for ages, but I never managed to find the time. Till now.
Well, basically, everybody and his dog knows that I got a major haircut in the last month. The same questions regarding my hair have been asked of me, so I thought I would compile them into this post.
Top Ten FAQs Regarding My Hair
1. Did you rebond it?
Yes, I went for soft rebonding, otherwise it would be pouffy and weird.
2. What made you get this hairstyle?
I've been wanting the Chinadoll-bangs for ages, plus I wanted to hack off all the old, dried-out hair, so it ended up like this.
3. Can I touch it?
Go ahead. It's not a wig.
4. What happens when you wear your helmet?
It depends. Sometimes nothing. Sometimes it'll just stick out at the ends and end up looking sixties.
5. What did your boyfriend say? [Hey, relatives have asked me that!]
Well, he wasn't thrilled, to say the least. Haha.
6. Do you miss your old hair?
No I don't.
7. What shampoo do you use?
Some unknown antidandruff shampoo they gave me at the salon, which doesn't seem to work anyway.
8. You look like Cleopatra.
Thanks.
9. You look like CleoFATra.
Thanks.
10. Isn't it hot?
Yes, as a matter of fact, it gets hot under the bangs. But ohwell. Small price to pay.
Bonus Question: How much did it cost?
Don't ask.

I had one of my now-rare train rides to work the other day, and I was just busying myself with photos when a set of the MRT Unit walked in at Tampines! Ahhh. Have always loved them. Haha. What were the odds, anyway?
Attended my cousin-in-law's [it's complicated] nikah on Saturday. The dude she's marrying is a Young Lion, so a bunch of Young Lions descended upon the home, in addition to the assortment of relatives from all sides. Eye candy galore, even though I have no interest in the game whatsoever. They kept to themselves, mostly, but the best part was when Hello-Kitty-lookalike [I don't wanna put his real name here for fear of being Googled, I really don't want this to get around] came out of the house and salamed ALL the datuks and pakciks before he left! I was SOOOOOOO awed, and my opinion of him just made an about-turn. In addition to being hot and famous, he's also respectful! How perfect can you get?
Okay enough gushing. I'm sure Nat knows who I'm talking about. Everyone else can ask me personally if you wanna know.
Life back at work has been all right. Yesterday there was a cute guy, maybe late twenties, who chatted to me while I made his hot chocolate. "Sekarang memang tak ramai orang eh?"/"So you get paid hourly right?"/etc. And Bernie and Dan were both around. Well it's just nice to see friendly faces.
Like that Malay dude the other day who insisted I speak to him in Malay cos he feels more comfortable conversing in Malay. But when I used that tactic on his friends, they responded in English. Macam-macamlah.
It hit me last night, how much I'm going to miss LT. Every aspect of working at LT. Parking at Angullia Park/LT multistorey, going to BK, visiting the DBS Autolobby.. It begins to hurt. Belum genap satu tahun, and you decide to close on me! Sedihnyer.
Anyway it's almost a given that the two of us will be at One Fullerton, which is some consolation.
Okaybye!

Life's been just peachy, Alhamdulillah.
I went to PS the other night and met with some trouble parking Baby in the tiniest space imaginable. This cute mat Gilera was watching at first with a sympathetic smile on his face. Then as I started to sweat, he gave me helpful instructions. But that didn't go over too well either, so he said, "Nak saya tolong?" and I gushed, "Oh ya thanks!" before the words were even halfway out his lips.
So he got on the bike with good grace, and parked it beautifully for me. I didn't really see how he did it cos I was too busy looking down at his peach/pink sneakers. And no, no number-exchanging. I poured out words of gratitude, he said no-problem, and zoomed off.
But he was cu-uuuute.
That night was another Simpang night, and while on the way home, I was just thinking, Haaa last time roadblock kat sini.. Sekali I realised there was some sort of jam going on, and a few metres down I realised it was a roadblock. My third, btw. This was a selective roadblock again, so I thought they stopped all P-plates but no, after stopping me and Amin, they let this P-plate Phantom go!!!
Okay takper, I just surrendered the necessary documents and stuff. But even after they were done with Amin, they weren't done with me. I panicked inwardly, cos I was wondering whether it had something to do with the Lim Chu Kang roadblock. But the malay dude who was handling my stuff said to me, "Sorry eh, pasal kat license ader tunjuk 3A, tapi biler I screen takder 3A.." I shrugged it off, since I wasn't in a hurry or anything, and I had fun looking around at the other stopped vehicles. But inside I was thinking, "..biler I screen.." ke pe.. Haha. And there was a car that was stopped on suspicion of drink-driving. SO COOL.
Sorry, I'm of the train-wreck mentality.
Today we watched JPB [it's really Atikk's fault that I'm scared now] with Hanom, Natasha and friends. TOO FUN, espesh the noisy makcik infront who was discussing the plot with her husband who was two seats away.

[backlog from last week]
My Lonerguy Mood is joyous.
My MBB Mood is rindu.
Exam Week has been pretty good so far. Studying at DTE--Pizza Hut mats, Boy [who asked me, "Bawak moto ape?"], and a smattering of Wild Wild Wet mats. Three glorious exams with Lonerguy. The last of which featured him kitty-corner to me. And which ended off with a not-so-romantic lunch at SP. Hehe.
Nights at Simpang. Lovely lovely lovely. Abang Fakrul and cute Faizal with the glasses and of course, Atikk's very own Abang Apoi. HAHA. And the assorted cute guys. I <3 Simpang so much it's not even funny.
Mechanic's hot as usual. Paid him the regular monthly visit, and Nat very kindly took a photo for me--which is still in her phone, unfortch. And the next night he sent me a goodnight forward. Hehe. Cute lah that one. So quiet and unassuming.
I've been faithfully returning to DTE, hoping to see Boy again, but no go. I'm not giving up, though.
I lovelovelove my new hair. Some people now have the illusion that I'm cute! *jumps around*

Hi all!
I'm in the training room at scilib, doing my usual online because I didn't come to school to study. Haha.
Nak terkencing. For the second time.
Yesterday I woke up late and went to Downtown East to study. It's not that bad except I spent half the time eating. HAHA. But if you go too early there aren't many cute mats to look at.
On Wednesday I went for Momo's Last Ladies' Night with Amin. Super fun. Loves the music. That is, loves the music until it hits 4 a.m. But half the people go there for the 4 a.m. music, so who am I to judge? Oooh I saw Lonerguy's friends and all, and I spent five full minutes searching for him, but I never found him. =( Aperlah dier. Doesn't he know how to take some time off studying? Hehe.
Sorry aku giler.
The upside of this haircut is that people don't recognise me.
The downside of this haircut is that people don't recognise me.
The upside of this haircut is that I look like Cleopatra.
The downside of this haircut is that I only look like her from afar.
HAHAHAA. But I love it anyway.

My MBB Mood is dancing-off-the-walls.
Hellohellohellohellooooooooo!
I was just parking this morning and he was at BG fiddling with some trash bag. He was staring at me for like two minutes, then he did a double-take and gestured to his hair [in response to my new haircut]. Sungguh adorable! I laughed and nodded and waved as I walked away.

I'm really just here to check my messages and ceritakan some cool peristiwas that happened in relation to Baby. Heheh.
On Friday, two cool things happened.
1. I was turning into the Angullia Park carpark, you know, to go to work and all. I always get anxious at that stage because you know, weekends, and takut no parking spaces. This Phantom was parked right infront of an empty space, blocking it, and talking on the phone. So I gestured to him whether I could park there and he nodded and moved forward to make way. While I spent my usual 8027493 years parking, he got off the phone and stood there watching me. When I was done, he was still watching me, so I ignored him and rummaged around for a parking coupon. Then he decided to open his mouth and said, "Alah, tak payah taruk parking coupon pun boleh.." and proceeded to engage me in conversation: "Interesting eh, tengok pompan bawak KR.."/"You kerje sini?" Finally he ran out of steam, so I went off. Haha.
2. It was past four, and I was headed home with Amin--both of us riding. This Mitsubishi Lancer cruising in the third lane spotted me, and proceeded to tail me into the second lane and drive alongside me, smiling and asking for my number. At least three cute mats. I smiled back, but I know my limits. No phone number, sorry.
Finally, I was taking a nap yesterday afternoon when my mechanic called me: "Boleh bersembang..?"/"Kalau senang boleh call?" He's Chinese, by the way. I think I waxed lyrical about him in a previous post. Adorable, but I always thought he was for seeing, not touching. I certainly didn't expect him to start calling me up just to chat. But I guess not a lot of female customers leave their numbers yea..
Itu je, I suppose. Take care and good luck for the exams!

My Lonerguy Mood is flattered.
My MBB Mood is benci-tapi-sayang.
Yesterday night Amin was riding to Central from the local Shell, and I passed by this cute guy on a scooter who was waiting to turn right from the opposite side of the road. I took a second glance, he took and second glance, and we both smiled and waved at each other. *giggle* That was nice.
This is the last day of school. And I only just realised this morning!!! God. Aku loser. So I'm not mentally prepared at all. It's the last Breakfast Club meeting for months! Feels weird. This morning I missed breakfast so I had my usual drink and a blueberry bagel, toasted with cream cheese. Yummers. Better than Bakerzin's bagels, ANYDAY.
I listened to one J. Mizan song this morning, missed the title, so now I got all the possible J. Mizan songs, and it turned out to be the first one I got!!! Buang F-drive space je.
I love the new brake lever. So metallic. And matches the gorgeous footrests. Yay.
Kalau ku bayangkan
Dirimu jauh dari ku
Betapakah sunyi
Tentu tidak seharum dulu
Engkau ku salahkan
Bermungkir di dalam cinta
Tapi ku percaya
Tak mungkin sekejam itu
(Chorus)
Kini ku bayangkan
Seandainya kita bersama
Rianglah duniaku
Bersinar bintangmu
Marilah dewiku
Marilah terus bercinta
Tak akan berdosa
Insan kalau bercinta - J. Mizan

My Lonerguy Mood is giggly.
My MBB Mood is cheery.
It's nice to have them both back, after my own prolonged period of absence. Even Hasyim-lookalike was around. The only one missing was the OCS despatch guy. Prolly cos I was super-early today at 715 a.m. HAHA. I got 2101 test back. I got 41 and Abdillah got 38! =PPPPP Haha.
Nak terkencing. For the third time this morning. Irritating sey.
Smalam was one of the final few store meetings. At Capital Tower. I think they were trying to get us used to the idea of another store? Anyways. It dragged on and on. But loves my bananas. And coconuts. Smells like Banana Boat, tastes like summer! Makes me wanna go tanning again. Like now. Haha.
After that I went to Lau Pa Sat for dinner with D. Dah lama tak gi Lau Pa Sat. Some of the guys there know me. And the rest.. Would like to. Haha. It's weird la. I used to go there almost every night once. Not that I miss it or anything. I'm just saying it's weird.
Random photos.

My Lonerguy Mood is goooooood.
I walked into my latest favourite hangout, S10 CBLC, and he was just sitting there, surfing through travel listings.
"Kalau blajar takper jugak.." I said.
He said he had something to pass to me, so I waited, and there was my Li Tianhu test paper with a good grade on it. "Oooh, totally laaa!" I exclaimed. He just gave me that I-know-it-all smile of his.
Momo yesterday. It was, uh, well it was alright, I suppose. I looked pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself. *giggle*
Oh we watched Shooter, with some reluctance, which turned out to be misplaced because it's terrific, balls! Gahaha.
Okay I know I haven't done much in the way of school. Emotions got in the way la.
The day that I saw you walking
I can't help myself but to look at you
It must be the way you smile at me
Darling you're like the morning dew
You're too near to me yet so far
So beautiful that's what you are
If you were the keys than I'm the car
You're the honey and I'm the jar
You are my eyes
Without you my world is blind
Come to me now love
We'll be together forever
I'm so high on the cloud number nine
And I thank God that you are mine
You tripped me over with your magical shine
You are perfect and you look so fine
So many things I want from you
It hurts when I know you're feeling blue
Whatever it takes is what I'm gonna do
Take you away and make your dreams true - Peepshow

My Lonerguy Mood is indifferent.
My MBB Mood is okay.
This morning the OCS despatch guy smiled at me. Haha.
Paid my cute mechanic a visit again just now. His name is Ah Long, it transpires. And he is so adorable with his quiet smile and subtly muscular arms. One of the rare few manjen guys I like. Gahaha.
I am bored. Again. But I don't wanna end up sleeping again, like I did yesterday. Rain, don't get me wrong, I love you and everything, but you really screw up my plans, don't you think?
Ohwell. I was just checking in.

My Lonerguy Mood is resigned.
My MBB Mood is bouncing-off-the-walls.
Haha. When I reached school this morning, Hasyim-lookalike was around, to start things off. =D And then while I was sitting with Alfian [ajer, boo to Amy!], MBBK walked past, raised his hand in greeting to Alfian, and smiled at me. I smiled back, and continued smiling even after he'd walked away.
Like on Tuesday when my adorable mechanic smiled at me. He is too, too cute!
Later at the locker he walked past again. This is a great MBB day.
Tak sia-sialah aku bangun pagi even though this lecture was in no way beneficial to me other than seeing Li Tianhu. Haha.
I am bored. And tired. For no apparent reason. Ooh yesterday I finished lab pretty early, by my standards. It was nice to end the last lab session of the academic year on a positive note. Although aku abis at 410, I was still in the first half of the lab that ended. So, props for me! Haha. And special thanks to Clara Toh, whoever she is, whose lab report virtually helped me get perfect grades for my own lab reports. Yay to you.
I logged onto whosgoing.sg to find that I got a message from this guy who chatted me up outside Momo, some Saturdays back. I was so pleasantly surprised. To know that he still remembers me, etc. Even though all we did was talk, plus I was none too responsive that night.
Yesterday morning there was an annoying white Honda which kept dancing in and out of lanes. He made his debut by sliding from 3 to 1, and continued weaving in and out. I got so annoyed, I waited till he was stuck, then I kilas-ed past. It turned out to be some show-off vik. Amek kau obat.
Ohwell. Tu je, I suppose.

My Lonerguy Mood is crushed.
My MBB Mood is buoyant.
I fell asleep during 2101 and had a dream. I got an SMS from Lonerguy saying,
"Hey kesiannye tido dalam lecture.. Penat eh? Takpe nanti kiter sit together. -[hisname]"
I hyperventilated for awhile, then proceeded to scream at Alfian, "Hei kau kasi dier number aku? Wooohoo!" Then I woke up.
I have only about an hour of leisure left before I start studying for stats, so let's make it good.
This morning I walked past MBBK while I was sipping the last dregs of my WCL, and I smiled at him, and he smiled back! Yesterday I was riding back from arts and checking out a non-local [i.e. non-Science-based] MBB at the YIH bus stop, and the third MBB rode past. Woohoo!
I'm a little bit of a mess today cos I went out last night for a movie--Stomp the Yard. It's nice. And Chris Brown is cute, of course. Too bad he hadta die.
There was this girl I was kutuking cos she was fixing her makeup for a solid fifteen minutes before entering the movie theatre: "What is she touching up for? I'm sure the movie theatre is not gelap, and people will be checking her out. Unless, of course, she's appearing on the big screen instead of sitting down watching the movie lah. Oh, I know, I bet dier nyanyuk and she thinks she's going clubbing instead of watching a movie--cos you know, both places cam gelap--so that's why she's fixing her makeup."
I am bitchy.

My Lonerguy Mood today is indifferent.
My MBB Mood today is hopeful.
It decided to rain heavily on my parade this morning. Capping off what has to be the second worst weekend in my life history. A weekend spent doing nothing but sleeping and waking, eating, watching tv, and sleeping again. And I'm not talking restful sleep. It was bingit sleep--like, for lack of things to do, I resorted to sleeping. When I have nothing to do these days, I tend to sit and stare into space and my mind starts working overtime and an overall shitty feeling descends on me.
Well, I did manage to get my labreport done.
And I'm in school safe and sound despite the really-scary rain, so that's something I can thank God for. It's a new week, full of promise, so why let memories of the past week affect the potential of this new week?
Next time I won't bother relying on so-called friends with their so-called plans. [Totally NOT referring to the Breakfast Club. So don't worry.] This Saturday I will isi V-Power and go somewhere I've never been before. Armed with a map, of course.
Isn't it sad how my self-worth is measured by whether I go out on weekends? Isn't it stupid how I get really annoyed when I spend forty-eight hours shut in my own home? Isn't it tragic how I push people away when I need them the most? Isn't it pathetic that I watch consecutive late-night shows just so I won't have to go to sleep?
Well. I digress. This morning, since I was late, drenched and dripping, I easily decided to give lecture a miss [again. Hey it's not my fault it always rains on Mondays.] and went to Spinelli as usual for my regular order. Hasyim-lookalike wasn't there, but I didn't really care. When they were finally done with my drink, the guy said, "It's free." and I dazedly replied, "Huh? Seriously?" He affirmed it. "Are you sure?" Affirmation. "Oh okay, thanks."
Why was it on the house, anyway? Did he see that I badly needed a pick-me-up? Or was he just rewarding me for being a regular customer? Either way, it worked. So thank you. [Not that you'll read this or anything.]

I'm handing in my resignation to the Breakfast Club because the two founding members are always buaying me when I come early. But I'm still gonna attempt to reach school before 730 because I love seeing the sunrise as I'm entering the ECP. This, btw, means that I have to leave the house by 645. Which means either I:
(a) wake up earlier than the 5 a.m. I normally wake up at, or
(b) lincah-lincah siap, or the final and most drastic and therefore I'll never even consider,
(c) skip breakfast. EEK!
This morning Hashim-lookalike a.k.a. Great Eyes is baaack!
I'm gonna join the Breeders' Gang instead.
[Btw, I changed my password to mbbrocks. HAHA.]
My mom ordered Pizza Hut. We usually have 2-35-35-35 delivery about once a fortnight, on average. Yes, that's how privileged I am. Anyway I just wanted to wax lyrical about the Hollywood Beef Pan Pizza, which has the yummiest, bounciest beef balls known to man! Gahahaha. Okay the reason I know they're bouncy is because they kept leaping off the pizza slices and bouncing all over the table, my legs, and the floor. But I digress. It's yummyyyyyyy. And all you have to do is pick off the onions [which are only on the surface, no trouble there] and add some chilli flakes [pasal you know, it's non-spicy].
My room now smells of cupcakes pasal I hung one of my YummyScents in "Frosted Cupcake" over my bed. Haha. Well, I bought like twelve, I had to use them sooner or later right?
Smalam I was pissed pasal after all my anticipation and careful planning, Wally [figure it out] decided NOT to show up for lab! It was the last lab I would have with him, ever. And I wasn't the only one he pissed off. His lab partner was mad too pasal obviously, lack of lab partner. So annoying. It's not like he was here this morning either.
After that I went for an encounter with the TP again. Lord, all these drivers and riders gripe about the TP but I bet half of them never actually had an encounter with them. I had no problems with them myself till my brush with them on Saturday. The ones on the road are bad enough. The ones at HQ are simply indescribable. [But I shall attempt to, anyway.] They placed the greenest, most incompetent ones at the counters to deal with civilians. And all the seasoned ones somewhere in the back recesses. There was this manjen one who was taking down a no-incident report who can't even spell "freelance". But can still hisap bodek with his ma'am. And can still sebok-sebok around my case when he knows squat about it. The superior or whatever he is said some crap to us about "This is a court case" and "You will be charged with abetting.." Look, I know, dude. Tell me something I don't know.
Or maybe I'm just angry at myself, but taking it out on them.
That manjen officer still pisses me off though. I would hate him even if I were riding a Haya and I accidentally knocked him down. Haha. No relevance, I know.
Well. Off to West Coast, I guess.

"Wah, niari sexy sey.." said Mr. Open-Mic Night.
ANYWAY. Since Amy blogged about a fantastic wedding she attended over the weekend, aku pun tanak kalah ah. My turn.
I attended Amin's officer's tunang in Jurong with him and his firefighters. Some lieutenant dude lah. And wow not only is he tall and segak and handsome, he looks painfully familiar too! Haha. It was just a small-scale celebration la, tikars in the three-room flat and all. My sister's was bigger. But anyway the food was yummy and I was like practically the only non-relative female around. The other firefighters are young, mostly macam my age, and they were so kecoh and funny.
Except when the freshly-tunanged lieutenant dude asked Amin, "Biler kau nyer turn?" I instantly died.
I am cold and I am hungry but I kinda don't wanna waste money on food cos my mom made roti kirai! Haha.
You know another reason I love store? Cos I love the music they play.
Please baby don't (baby don't)
Don't fall in love with me
Please baby don't (baby don't)
You know my history
See honey I (honey I)
I'm just trying to warn you (let me warn you)
Please baby don't (baby don't)
Don't fall in love with me
I've been cruisin down this road for a while now,
I should tell the truth...
Girl you've been so good to me but I know
I'm no good for you
You should run while you can
Find yourself a better man
'Cause I'm known for brief romance
And breakin hearts across the land
Yes I've been known to have a few temptations
Out there on the road
And let's say hypothetically I've slipped and
Took a couple home
Girl I know that's not fair
You need someone who'll be there
So just get away before it's too late
and your pain is too much to bear
Please baby don't (baby don't)
Don't fall in love with me
Please baby don't (baby don't)
You know my history
See honey I (honey I'm)
I'm just trying to warn you (let me warn you)
Please baby don't (baby don't)
Don't fall in love with me
Now on second thought maybe we'll give
This love another try
'Cause I can't see you with no one else
I'm selfish I can't lie
So let's go, let's go slow
You know all you need to know
It could end one day but
Let's just say we'll see how far it goes - John Legend f Sergio Mendes

MBB = Mat Bersih-Bersih
BG = Breeding Ground
PL = Parking Lot
BP = Bait Place [S9 Benches]
I got caught in the rain this morning. It was the latest in a series of unfortunate events that befell me over the weekend.
Siti once asked me, "What was the best day of your life?"
--"The day I got my riding license."
So extrapolate from that and determine what was the worst day of my life.
On another note, this morning it was NOT raining in school. And I got here just in time to see MBB. Who walked past me and Baby, so I smiled and him and he smiled back!!! Haha. Then I was doing labreport at Spinelli's and the other MBB walked past. Yey.
So other than my still-damp jeans, the morning has been going swimmingly.

It's been a fantastic morning because
- Guy With Great Eyes remembered my order as "Your usual?"
- Atikk talked to SP dude who I've always thought was scary, but actually he's nice,
- I saw MBB at BG while I was at PL,
- I saw MBB outside LT21,
- and I had breakfast with Lonerguy [and friends] and he chose to sit next to me not Alfian! PLUS,
- we saw MBB again, and told Lonerguy about him.
Haha.
Yesterday I rode home with the hot sun beating down on me, isi-ed minyak at the local Shell, where the attendant pumped minyak for me again, and I borong-ed the 4 for $10 air fresheners. When I reached home, I discovered a stark tanline corresponding to my racerback top. All I can say is, nasib baik I wasn't wearing a tshirt.
Lonerguy is SO cute.

Going off to West Coast in awhile. Lepas stats tutorial nak balik pasal mata dah takleh angks.
This morning MBB-Imitation was there. He is so adorable. Finally I can admit it. Haha.
Smalam at the Bukit Merah bike shops, we bumped into Awun. :) I can safely say I did not embarrass myself this time.
The second part of 2102 test was alright. I really think Li Tianhu is the cutest, best lecturer ever. Haha.
Anyway. These were from nightlife.sg, I think.

So I sat down at the terminal next to his, stuck out my tongue at him because he said the seat was taken, and continued talking to Atikk on the phone: "Yeah so I'll see you tomorrow.."
"Ah besok.. Gi tengok movie issit..?" he sampuked.
"Tak, gi pangking!" I snapped back.
Ain, Ain. Kau betul carik pasal.
A shoutout of congratulations to Atikk for you-know-what. Haha.
Alah, kau cutelah Lonerguy.
[Zul--from MySpace--messaged me on Hi5 saying some shit about how he's sorry for disappearing from my life these past coupla months, and for being mean when I attempted to contact him. Said he was having some relationship problems or whatever shit. And asked me to forgive him. But it's never that easy, is it?]

Photos first!!!
Part of the Swissotel Stamford series.

Some random bike parked at West Coast Mac's. Cool or gaudy? I couldn't quite decide, but I liked the "2Slow2Serious" sticker.

Powerhouse was pretty fun on Wednesday, despite the raid. The bottles of Fantasy in the ladies' might have had something to do with it.

NOT my son. Haha. But if I ever had one, I'd want him to be as cute.

I don't go online on weekends cos I'm either out working, out partying, out merayaping, or out studying. So when Monday rolls around I forget what I was supposed to do online.
The test was pretty great, I thought. I felt very proud of myself for having to ask him a clarification question on the 4J thing. I couldn't do the IR one worth fifteen, but the rest seemed okay.
Look, I'm just proud of myself, okay? Academics have been pretty much slipping, so you know, little things. And I got thirteen out of a possible twenty for the 2101 quiz. Next up is the Spectro-Inorg one on Thursday. Also labreports and assorted tutorials, including one later today.
Momo on Saturday was alright. I tried something new and wore shorts instead. Dapat jugak snare one horny guy who wanted to send me home, haha. I declined, of course. The boyfriend was in the house. Not quite wasted, but I really wish some people didn't have to drink to lose their inhibitions to dance. I love that Momo has loads of lockers, and there are like 72047092 legal parking spaces around.
It's weird though, I still feel that the best time I have when clubbing is the time I spend alone.
Yesterday night there was a dead cat on the road. EEEEEEE.
Yes well, I think that would be it for now.
