I bought two t-shirts--Batgirl riding a bike, and Superman accompanying the words "I love goodies". HAHA. I guess I have something for superheroes or whatever. But the Batgirl t-shirt means a lot to me. It reminds me of my favourite crush, Allif, because he wrote in my autograph book as Batman in primary six. She's riding a bike, which is totally me. And there are accents of pink hearts and purple strokes. My favourite colours! I love that t-shirt, I do.
I also got this adorable translucent black top with a lace panel at Topshop. I'm saving that for a hot date or something. HAHA. Yes, aku giler. That might be next year or something, if I'm lucky. Ohwells. Almost got sluardalams too, but I decided I'd spent enough. Also, on some impulse shit, I got this adorable purse made of an audio cassette tape. CUTE! It hardly fits my phone, though.
Finally, I tried Borders for the latest MHC, Where Are You Now? but tak kelihatan langsung! What an appropriate title. So I got a Madeleine Wickham instead, Gatecrasher. Madeleine is also known as my beloved Sophie Kinsella, you see. I can't wait to devour that book. But my next off is only on Wednesday. Takper. Pelan-pelan kayuh.
I'm selubung-ed like some loser here at store. Pasal si manager aku is late, thinking that we start at two when it was SHE who set our meeting for ten! Ohwell. Takper. It could have been worse. It could always have been worse. At least I've got Khai's laptop to amuse myself with while waiting.
Yesterday I was sufficiently sad because of, ohwell, kalau kau tahu, kau tahulah. Just understand I was sad yesterday night. I was using the laptop again last night at store pasal malas nak balik so early, then Gab came in. Dunno what kind of Gatal Gene took control of me, I said to him in my "Ow sakit" voice, "Gab, bila nak hang outttt..??" At first he told me to join him outside with his usual drink, then he said, "Next time I'm on MC I'll msg you.."
Well I did hang out with him outside anyway. I AM gonna die of lung cancer someday, with all these smoking friends of mine. Yeah I just sat there for an hour, listening to his nonsense. He's funny. And merepek. And he sounds amazingly matrip at times, I almost gasped in horror. And he may look quiet but he's not! He talks five words to one of mine.
I dropped by Clarke Quay that night with Nazeera and Addynna. But. Hajat tak tercapai. I miss him. And you know me and my escapist themes. Instead of going home to wallow in sorrow, I texted Gab and decided to meet him instead. At JALAN BAHAR. Remember where I live, my friends? I got lost balls. I pusing-pusing like three or four times around the area. It's all interconnected, it appears, but I'm not sure how. As in, he actually doesn't live that far away from Shafa, Atikk and JJC. All three places of which I've been to before. But entah. When you say "Jalan Bahar" it just sounds super-far to me.
Well it was fun. Mostly we just sat in the car, or at the open space, and talked. While drinking my apple and aloe vera. Which he hates. And. He. REFUSES. To tell me his real name! BAH.
Got home late, of course. And I only had one hour of sleep before I trudged reluctantly to store. And here I am, my friends. Alone and YZ-less!
With respect to Hot Guy, I admit I like him. I add the disclaimer that I don't know if this is a lasting "like". But whatever it is, I don't expect him to like me back. It would be a nice bonus, of course. But it's not a requirement. I'm really just content to like him from where I am, and if I can get more kisses and bites and pinches and sniffs, cool! Anyways. As of last night, I've done all I can do. So all that's left for me to do now is sit back and wait.
Sorry long post. In the words of one of my favourite cute guys, I'm done for now.

Life after exams
I've been working for the past three days, it's like.. indescribable. No, I mean, before I get to work, I feel so reluctant to wake up, shower, and get my ass to work. But once I'm there, everything seems to fall into place, and it becomes quite fun in the end. Then I'm reluctant to go home after work. Vicious cycle, that one.
I've been having stupid dreams involving people and things I DON'T wish to be thinking about, let alone dreaming about. But I have no idea why they creep into my dreams anyway.
Yesterday I popped by the Lime Flea Market especially to look for AGL. I adore AGL. Loves their clothes. There were quite a few things I wanted to buy, but you know, tight budget, so I got a nice kimono top, and also a translucent top from another stall. Kesian guys at flea markets, there's not really ANYTHING for them to look at. Guys' things just don't appear at flea markets somehow.
Attachment at Wisma just now. Attachments get me nervous because I don't know most of the people there. I'm shy, remember? No one believes that, of course. But it was relatively okay. It wasn't crazy busy, but even though it's fully air-conditioned, I found myself sweating a fair few times. BODOH. But quite fun la, there are some nice people there and at least I had Zain as well.
Today I happily horned at some light gold Cefiro that cut into my lane. Wahhaaaa!

I wanted to buy Vday candies from online but they're all gone now! Bodoh. Bodohnyer orang-orang with IB.
Went to Sentosa on Saturday and there was this funny minah [prolly underage] who lounged around in a white tube top and white shorts, and when it started raining steadily she exclaimed "Alah nanti air dier panas!" and scampered down from the shelter to the water.
"Hey, hujan-hujan asal main air?" her friends asked.
"Eh, aku satu family slalu main air hujan-hujan.. Asal takleh?"
"Kau satu family tak betul." But they joined her anyway.
Later that night we makan-ed besar at Simpang. This time we had Hotplate Egg Tofu with Mushrooms, Kangkong Belacan and Chicken Sambal. It was incredibly yummy, and also my first time eating hotplate tofu. I rock!!! I lovelovelove to makan besar, it's too fun!

It was alright. People who know me, know the reasons I didn't wanna be there, and why I didn't enjoy myself there, so I won't elaborate. My siblings flew home on Christmas Day while I stayed back, literally crying of boredom. It was horrible.
My sister said that at least I got to stay for the post-Christmas sale. Which, btw, was a blast. Everything was on sale in ALL the stores, it was fantastic. And I have to admit, I spent more than a thousand aussie dollars in the twelve days I was there. Underwear, stockings, skinny jeans, dresses, playsuits, SHOES! I bought about seven pairs of shoes, four of them jellies. HAHA. Oh wait, make that five. Haha. Aku giler, I know.
And I spent $115 in Supre, I LOVE SUPRE.
Speaking of $115, we were in Myers' lingerie section and there was a range of bras that cost $119.25! I DIED! They were really lovely bras with embellishments in diamante, gold thread, metal buckles, and made of silk, and soooooo beautiful, but like, no one will see them unless you keep flashing the general public, sedih.
The thing about sales, and shops like KMart and Big W, is that you find things that you don't really need but you think you do. Like this adorable mini Chupa-Chups that I now have dangling from my phone, for only $1.99!
Haha.
Yesyes, I know I got to do a whole new wardrobe's worth of shopping, but you know what, I'd gladly trade it all in to have spent the time in rainy ol' Singapore instead.
Surprisingly, even though I was there against my will, and sedih and lonely half the time, I still felt a slight sadness when I finally had to leave. Come on, from Christmas Day till the 28th, I was an only child, it was excellent! And Dean is really cute and funny.
The flight back was alright, this time we had better KrisWorld with about a hundred on-demand movies and TV shows, plus new CDs and stuff. Fantastic. Unfortch, only a five-hour flight, so we didn't get to utilise the system fully. I caught The Heartbreak Kid, which was R21 before December 20, and 881, finally! HAHA.
Well anyway, back in rainy ol' SG, and loving it.

Okay no, actually it was Khai who was shopping and aku just tag along. I had to wait like an hour for him to show up, though, but I didn't mind, I spent the time at Page One [which has such a fantastic view] and Starbucks, reading up the IA article.
We buka-ed the LJS Break Fast Special meal, or whatever it's called, which actually serves four. HELLO. Needless to say, aku tak habis. He's crazy I swear. It cost 22 bucks in all, that works out to eleven bucks per person? Puas hati makan kat Secret Recipe kan. Well. Asal dier bahagia. The qurma date juice is surprisingly not bad. I brought one home, maybe I'll have it for buka later.
After that we walked everywhere! I found a pair of cute ballet pumps at World of Sports, lace-up ribbon and all. NAK! It was 71 bucks though, so I didn't get it yet. But I'm planning to! Anyways we were at Fox and I was trying on scarves [for my scoodie, remember?] which are going at around 20-plus bucks, not bad per. And he was paying for his sweater and then he said, "U nak beli ni? I'll get it for you." and I was like HUH? and of course I quickly declined, because how weird is that?
But he insisted on getting me something, and he said maybe at our next stop [inevitably, Topshop] I would find something I liked. By the time we entered Topshop it was nearly ten, and therefore closing, y'know? But miraculously I managed to find two tops that I liked. So I barged into the fitting room and tried both [okay, no, but the salesgirl was macam irritated, I'm sure], and I decided I loved both! A cream-coloured quarter-sleeve knit top; and a sleeveless Tasha-type translucent top. Lovesloves! I refused to decide between the two, so I told him he could buy me the first top [which he liked] and I would get the second one for myself, yey.
And that was how we wound up walking out of Vivocity, me with three different shopping bags, and him lugging both our bags [pasal bag aku berat, ha!]. So fun! I love shopping. I love shopping. I love shopping.
I reached home past midnight but I love shopping. <3

Breakfast Club has been disbanded because of clashes in schedule. But it didn't stop me from reaching school at 720 and going to our table and sitting down and staring into space. Yes, I really did that. Nak blajar, nak blajar aper? So I just sat there.
The first friendly face I saw was actually that of Hasyim-lookalike, who waved to me as I walked past. WAVED! Wow. That's an event in itself, really. Anyway I waited for 730 [cos that's when they officially open] and I walked over. He was arranging tables, and he smiled and started talking to me once I was within earshot.
"Hey, back at school?"/"You changed your hairstyle, huh?"/"Let me guess.. Caramel?"/"Asal muker muram je?"/etc. WOW he speaks malay to me now!
Oh, I'm the only one left in the mornings now, I replied, because I still have 8 a.m. lectures. Haha.
Speaking of 8 a.m. lectures, mine was attended by a grand total of five students in one of the seminar rooms at S16. MAMPOS. But it was alright, I suppose. The tiny class size means that he'll print our notes for us at no cost, and I guess every day will feel like a tutorial. Plus you have no excuse to fall asleep. Anyway half the time I'm struggling to understand, and the other half, I'm furiously copying notes.
Yesterday I went for an x-ray for the incoming braces. After that we went shopping at Ikea. And I mean shopping. We were there from 5-10 p.m., giving final once-overs to beds, tables, shelves and armchairs. Picking out curtain colours, bedspreads, loading abovementioned perabots onto a total of three carts. NOT including the shopping cart loaded with the smaller stuff. Thank God I decided to wear Birkenstocks pasal my mom was complaining about how her step-orthopedic slippers were killing her feet.
Moment of Kembangness: I was standing around waiting for the rest, and the semi-cute Ikea mats walked past me in a bunch, exclaiming loudly, "Eh, cute ah pompan ni.. Cute lah girl ni.." On TWO separate occasions, in TWO different aisles. *giggles annoyingly* I'm cute!
I'm getting a yellow wood four-poster, with a purple bedspread and possibly orange curtains. And this $500 rocking armchair I was drooling over a few weeks back. HEHE. It was further knocked down by 50 bucks.
But seriously, I was pancit even before the dentist. Cos on Saturday night I went out with Cute Boy, as usual. And his friends. And Shafa. And he likes me! Cute Boy, I mean. Can you believe it? Because I still can't! Ever since he told me, I've been drifting off at random moments, thinking to myself, Oh, so when he did so-and-so, it was because he liked me! Haha.
We went to Mustafa Centre, where the baggage counter guy was macam flirting with me, and since I was in a buoyant mood, aku layan, and then he said, "Takpelah nanti you nyer abang marah kan?" I just laughed and said yes. HAHA. Then we went to ECP and lepak sampai pagi. Breakfast at Simpang, where Shafa and I were ridiculed for our English and for eating mutton chop in the morning. Whatever, boys.
So since I only got home at eight in the morning, siler faham why I was so tired yesterday. Not that anyone cares.
It feels funny going through the routine of
1. Spinelli's coffee
2. Lectures
3. Printing at scilips
4. Blogging in the science CBLC
alone. Oh I was gonna take the SciPhi organiser, which is SO CUTE this year, but the queue was centuries long, so takperlah. I'm headed to pick up chinese books next.
Did I mention that Cute Boy has the hugest eyes with the longest, curliest lashes? Well. He does.

What a waste of a day.
[When you're working and schooling, I think non-working weekends are hard to come by, and should therefore be properly appreciated.]
Anyways. Hit Vivo yesterday with Hanom. I wasn't about to do any actual shopping--at least none for myself--but then I lost my shades in the toilet pasal AKU BODOH, and I was feeling sad and depressed and all, so I started looking for a new pair. Topshop takder, but I bought another pair of black pants "for work". Hehe. Well they turned out to be a tad too long, but aku takut nak alter cos the last time I did that, they became slightly too short. Right now, I'll settle for folding them, even though it looks completely nerdy.
After that, nothing really tickled my eyeballs. Till we walked into River Island [where everyone is friendly without being annoying. It's amazing!] and I found the inner shades. I couldn't stop trying them on. But they cost $45, so aku pun macam fikir dua kali. I thought I'd just walk around, and if I still wanted them then, I'd come back for them. So I was in the shoe section, and guess what? They have my size! Guess what else? My size isn't the largest available! But of cos, harga dier pun lawar, so I'll save that for another month.
Almost forgot to explore the men's section. Which would have been a pity, because I found a whole bunch of cufflink shirts! Totally laaa! And while I was admiring this striped brown shirt with blue seams, the most adorable retail assistant approached us and offered his help in the most un-annoying way. I know it was his eyes that moved Hanom, but I was more swayed by the tone of his voice. Haha.
Yes and I ended up getting the shirt ($105) AND the shades. Lovesloves.
Bumped into Nutz, who wasn't working, but was there anyway.
More Toddler Fashion
Yesterday (19 August 2026) was Cycle 12 of Enhertu. Cycle 11 was a four-week cycle instead of three because I skipped the would-be sesh last...
