I have been hella busy these past few days. Why? Because I rented a car to go out and paint the town red!
Haha.
And no, I didn't wreck anyone's vehicles, thank you. I didn't get saman-ed and I didn't beat any red lights, although I did take for-freaking-ever to park the car. HAHA.
On Sunday I drove to Sentosa with Khai and Shafa. It was surprisingly painless and I didn't get lost or anything. Also, there were no peacock attacks which they'd warned us about. Unfortch, most of the beach was macam blocked off for preparations for the NYE party the next night. So we pitched our mats very near the water, where Shafa was heard to be complaining of the high probability she would slip off the mat and into the water.
There were no mats like she hoped there'd be, but there was a 30-something father of four who kept checking us out. He also kept showing off his body, tattoos and swimming ability, as well as his adorable son. And they were next to us, so he kept like, encroaching into our rendaming space with his son, konon macam dier tak sadar gitu ah. Sheesh! And his wife was there, and all.
Anyway then it started to rain, so we had to leave. Dinner at Vivo, and then I took them to Mount Faber on a whim. It's as lovely as I remembered.
Yesterday was more of the same, except we ate at Arnold's this time. Haha. Shitty Geylang traffic, and equally shitty CP parking system. Ohyeah slightly after the clock struck, we drove to Labrador park but there was a jam all the way up and down, so then the Lancer in front of us made a three-point turn and left, so we used the space to make a three-point turn, and we saw everyone else making similar turns in a domino effect. Tres cool!
Oooh and Khai taught me to play pool! I suck, of course, but A'an and Khai were unbelievably patient. Also, we visited A'an's new squeeze at SGH--high fever. She's shorter than A'an, it's incredible!
And today I'm feeling hungover from the two glorious days of hanging out with Khai. School starts soon, so I'm not gonna have the luxury of time for months.

AAAAAAAND I'm in Perth!
It's unusually gloomy and muggy instead of bright and sunny. And I haven't gone shopping yet, but I forsee myself going mad over satin boxers and cute underwear and the like.
Flight was okay, super bumpy at some points and my cup of tea sloshed all over my tray. NO CUTE GUYS. It was a full flight, with lots of babies and toddlers bawling away. Boring movies, except for Ratatouille which of course I've watched already. But I watched Goya's Ghosts and it was such an ugh movie [for me] and I hated the ending. I like to see things get tied up nicely, not unravelled in three different directions. Music was good though.
I am, of course, bored now. We're not going out at all today. Please kill me! Haha. I didn't bring a book or anything, you see, so this is my only form of entertainment. And there's only one modem which we're all sharing. My brother, my sister and her husband, and of course NorDean. So yea.
Anyways. Yesterday was the Christmas Cheer Party at store and thankfully, mak wasn't there so I didn't have to deal with her. But I didn't stay long, and besides, it was raining so not a lot of people showed. Wait, my point is, there were a couple of sets of angel wings and halos, so I wasted no time in putting one of the halos on. =D I love Christmas, didn't I tell you? Well then, after that everyone [non-strangers] who saw me had a good laugh. Apparently it's funny to match my face to a halo. Thanks guys. I think Din laughed the loudest. Bugger.
Thanks to Atikk the Great, I have a car waiting for me the last three days of the year. So I'm going to do my part to contribute to global warming! Can't wait to paint the town red! [After that I'll be completely and utterly broke, but whatever.]
Nat, don't worry, I've put your helmet on the bike.
Saturday night I was at Pasir Ris Park with Khai, and we were sitting overlooking this clump of trees that concealed a bike trail. A bike trail that's SO DARK, I think it's meant for use in the daytime only. So anyway, it was like three in the morning or so and I saw someone walking out with something slung over his back. It was an unconscious body la! Some guy in the woods shouted, "Allahu-akbar!" and I heard a burst of giggles, followed by two more unconscious bodies being carried out later.
We had to walk past them on our way back to the carpark, and one guy had the gall to stare at us. Sheesh. Don't you dare stare at us when you went looking for trouble and found it! Khai thoroughly spooked me out when he asked me, "Are you okay?" out of the blue.
Later, he told me that he saw a hanging body at the other side of the place where we sat. Also, when we were walking past the group of stupid people, he saw one of the girls being sampuked and standing right next to him, breathing heavily.
I couldn't sleep that night.
I mean, wtf? This is why I don't go looking for trouble, at bloody OCH or whatever. This is why.
Well that's all I have for now then. I'll be back tmr, I hope!

My Lonerguy Mood is crushed.
My MBB Mood is buoyant.
I fell asleep during 2101 and had a dream. I got an SMS from Lonerguy saying,
"Hey kesiannye tido dalam lecture.. Penat eh? Takpe nanti kiter sit together. -[hisname]"
I hyperventilated for awhile, then proceeded to scream at Alfian, "Hei kau kasi dier number aku? Wooohoo!" Then I woke up.
I have only about an hour of leisure left before I start studying for stats, so let's make it good.
This morning I walked past MBBK while I was sipping the last dregs of my WCL, and I smiled at him, and he smiled back! Yesterday I was riding back from arts and checking out a non-local [i.e. non-Science-based] MBB at the YIH bus stop, and the third MBB rode past. Woohoo!
I'm a little bit of a mess today cos I went out last night for a movie--Stomp the Yard. It's nice. And Chris Brown is cute, of course. Too bad he hadta die.
There was this girl I was kutuking cos she was fixing her makeup for a solid fifteen minutes before entering the movie theatre: "What is she touching up for? I'm sure the movie theatre is not gelap, and people will be checking her out. Unless, of course, she's appearing on the big screen instead of sitting down watching the movie lah. Oh, I know, I bet dier nyanyuk and she thinks she's going clubbing instead of watching a movie--cos you know, both places cam gelap--so that's why she's fixing her makeup."
I am bitchy.

My Lonerguy Mood today is indifferent.
My MBB Mood today is hopeful.
It decided to rain heavily on my parade this morning. Capping off what has to be the second worst weekend in my life history. A weekend spent doing nothing but sleeping and waking, eating, watching tv, and sleeping again. And I'm not talking restful sleep. It was bingit sleep--like, for lack of things to do, I resorted to sleeping. When I have nothing to do these days, I tend to sit and stare into space and my mind starts working overtime and an overall shitty feeling descends on me.
Well, I did manage to get my labreport done.
And I'm in school safe and sound despite the really-scary rain, so that's something I can thank God for. It's a new week, full of promise, so why let memories of the past week affect the potential of this new week?
Next time I won't bother relying on so-called friends with their so-called plans. [Totally NOT referring to the Breakfast Club. So don't worry.] This Saturday I will isi V-Power and go somewhere I've never been before. Armed with a map, of course.
Isn't it sad how my self-worth is measured by whether I go out on weekends? Isn't it stupid how I get really annoyed when I spend forty-eight hours shut in my own home? Isn't it tragic how I push people away when I need them the most? Isn't it pathetic that I watch consecutive late-night shows just so I won't have to go to sleep?
Well. I digress. This morning, since I was late, drenched and dripping, I easily decided to give lecture a miss [again. Hey it's not my fault it always rains on Mondays.] and went to Spinelli as usual for my regular order. Hasyim-lookalike wasn't there, but I didn't really care. When they were finally done with my drink, the guy said, "It's free." and I dazedly replied, "Huh? Seriously?" He affirmed it. "Are you sure?" Affirmation. "Oh okay, thanks."
Why was it on the house, anyway? Did he see that I badly needed a pick-me-up? Or was he just rewarding me for being a regular customer? Either way, it worked. So thank you. [Not that you'll read this or anything.]
