Am at Central Lib now. But I still prefer Scilib, for reasons I've enumerated enough over the past couple of months so I'll give everyone a break now.
For this week, I put all X's on my schedule so I could take a much-needed break from work, concentrate a little on school, and spend time with friends [i.e. Dodol. I miss him so much!]. But Dean made a helluva lot of noise, and asked me for one day, so I conceded Friday to him. The next day he asked if I could work Saturday. I said I had Nadia's kenduri. So he put me down to work from eight till closing. On Monday I was hanging out at store, and this time they requested I do preclosing on Tuesday. Since aku kesiankan Shermeen and since Tuesday is normally my closing day, I said okay.
Finally, yesterday Naz came to store and asked me to do preclosing on Thursday cos she's short of two partners. After a short negotiation, I said okay.
Summary: despite planning to work for
zero days, I am now working
four. Congrats Ain.
I blame my inability to say no [See? It doesn't just apply to sinful deeds!] and my desire for $$$ [to maintain my lifestyle].
Daddy and I walked up and down the entire stretch of Orchard Road, just because I wanted to eat Ben & Jerry's, but I still had to go to work. Haha. Wasn't looking forward to work, but it turned out to be pretty okay, judging from the way I was skipping and jumping around, and giggling away with Shermeen.
There was this group of three cute guys hanging around trying to decide what to buy. No, they were really cute. Espesh this particular one who looked macam-pernah-nampak, but I attributed it to him looking like Hello Kitty [wow, digging up old nicknames!]. Well, needless to say, I was quite happy to be taking POS.
But the magic blew away when Hello Kitty [the appointed spokesperson for the group] asked, "Kak, sini ada Pure Vanilla tak?"
HELLO! Who can spot how many mistakes were made there?
1. Calling me "Kak". Only certain people can get away with it.
REALLY uber-hot guys. And my friends, of course.
2. Thinking we're Coffee Bean. I mean, if you
wanted Coffee Bean, there are actually TWO within breathing distance.
But you know. Obviously I couldn't snap at him or anything. So I just handled them as usual, but like I said, the magic was gone.
It was much later that I found out that they're Young Lions [or something similar, I really don't follow the soccer scene].
Thank you Tasha and Shermeen for letting me leave early. Needs the sleep balls.
Finally. At the carpark there was this seemingly-cute dude,
also on a black KR,
also wearing the same helmet,
also an FU-plate, ... Macam soulmate gitu kan? HAHA.
