Work on Tuesday.

Witnessed accident on Wednesday in the right lane just as I zoomed past. I was shaking for the next five exits. After that was St. James with Az and Aliyah. There was a raid! Haha.

Thursday was mostly resting, one hour of tutorial, and more rest at home. Ey but I bought a new pair of shorts. Amy MMSed me in the morning with updates on Lonerguy. From Nat's blog:

But he didn't turn up for organic anyway. :(

And I am now a regular at Spinelli's, despite Nat's complaints on the overextracted shots. The guy with the great eyes is cute, and the other malay dude is cute too. And I love my white chocolate latte. Yum.

Forgot to gush about Allan Wu. Alfian and I were at West Coast Mac's yesterday, studying--or trying to, anyway--for organic, and there happened to be a photoshoot, so the models were using the Mac's toilet. Now, at first aku tak heran, while Alfian couldn't take his eyes off the girl. But then the guy model walked in, all buff and tanned and just very hot, and I nearly died. And it turned out to be Allan Wu!!!

Needless to say, not much studying got done.

Anyway they were finally done, so he was like walking away, then I realised he was holding a helmet. So I said, "Alfian asal dier bawak helmet? Does he actually ride?" [The photoshoot centred on two big bikes, apparently.] And Alfian replied, "Ntah.. Kiter gi tengok ah, mana tahu dier park sebelah kau!"

[When we got there earlier, I'd parked next to a big Honda, which I wasn't really paying attention to.]

At first I was like, "Alah tanak ah, I'm sure he's taking the car. Anyway, aku malu!" But Alfian said, "Aku nak gi tengok, do you want to come or not?" so I followed him.

I followed him, just in time to see Allan Wu, seated on the bike parked next to mine, riding away. I nearly died. He rides! Totally laaa! I parked next to him! Double totally laaaa!

Okay that would be it, I think.

I finished lab report and now I'm going to work! Yay!
I found a photo of us on Az's friendster that was originally from whosgoing.sg. So now I'm hooked on surfing photos from that site, just in case ada muka aku. HAHA.

I'm really supposed to be doing labreport, actually.

Yest I went home right after test. Unfortch, there was the grandmother of all jams at the AYE(ECP) entry. So I thought I'd be smart and take CTE instead. I was wrong. There was a jam in the tunnel too! And you know, jam in the tunnel is 4926593 times worse, because it's hot. Anyway I got home in one piece, you'll be glad to know, and went to sleep shortly after maghrib.

Yet, I still fell asleep in lecture.

It's been a good morning so far because there was army guy, lonerguy, and of course, glimpses of MBBs.

Quick update before I rejoin Amy at the bait-place. [No, it's not a place where you buy fishing supplies.]

Been busy working and going out with Amin. Haha. Yes, I haven't done much in the way of homework or studying. On Wednesday Naz called to apologise: "Masih marah lagi?" Thursday was work, Friday was spent with my baby and Daddy. I had mechanic's hands for two days after that cos the dirt and grime got irreversibly lodged under my nails and on my palms.

Saturday was more work, and Swissotel Stamford with Naz, Siti, Marina and Adina [argh I still don't know how to spell it!]. Sixty-first floor! It was amazing. I could have stood out there on the balcony forever, watching the toy cars moving on the road, and all the pretty lights. But it was cold, and I was wearing shorts. And as much as I love my cameraphone, it didn't really take such great photos this time. Nothing that could have done that sight justice.

And Sunday I drove down to Amin's place for a sickbed visit. Okay he wasn't that sick la, haha. Dah lama tak drive, it was nice, singing along to Imran Ajmain and looking out for bikes. Everything was just fine and dandy till I reached home, and decided to reverse into one of the spaces. Despite having a back sensor, and having lived there for the past 14 years of my life, I reversed into a pole and scratched the paintwork.

I will never get the car again.

I might as well peel off that sticker on my license and throw it away.

Sorry, I'm just sad. And angry at myself. If only we could turn back time.

Well. It's too cold. I'm off.

Just dropping by to say how I had the most fantastic lab session of all time!!! Haha. This is the lab that I get with Lonerguy AND the other cute chem guy I discovered this year. So it's pretty much a dream. And today, Lonerguy put his hand in my lap! [Okay the reality's much less romantic than it sounds. But the general idea is there.]

So, you know. In a great mood. Even though it's raining and I have tons of work to do for tomorrow BUT I'm not even caring, I'm going out with Hanom instead.

Haha.

Maybe I'll be back.

Sorry, but...

Plus it's like past one, I have yet to get started on my labreport, and why? Because I started looking for photos from my past, and I got a little carried away!

In the meantime, this was taken at Momo on Wednesday night. Loves it. [Even if I say so myself.]

West Coast as usual after lecture just now, and there were some adorable kids padding around in blond curly hair, barefoot. Cute. This WILL be a regular thing, I think.

Well. I'll finish up Habbo-ing then it's time for labreport la. :(

Dreamgirls last night, which was a tad too long but really cool anyway.

I really should be doing some amount of school-related work, but I wanted to put up some Gotham photos first.

Yep. That was fun.

Saturday, February 24, 2007

Feels like it's been forever.

I haven't done an ounce of work all week. So much for a mid-sem break. However, I did manage to squeeze in a minimal amount of fun.

Tanning on Wednesday morning/afternoon, followed by movie, and clubbing with the BRE girls at night--the hot Odyssey guys at Gotham before heading to Momo. Loves the toilets at Momo, or at least, the hot guys on the cubicle doors.

Rode home alone, and one of my wishes came true on the CTE-PIE. Haha. That was fun.

Thursday could have been better, really. When I'm tired, angry or upset, I tend to ride recklessly [this means fast], and I know it's not safe, but I can't stop myself. Then I scream on the roads and get mad at the littlest annoyance that other road users throw at me.

[But they aren't all minahs at Dbl O.]

Thursday could really have been a lot better cos I spotted Ninja sitting at the benches right infront of store. They really should not be allowed to do that.

Monday, February 19, 2007

Just wanted to drop a note.

The rest of the week after that was pretty cool.

I bumped into Dan[ish] at The Cathay with his mom and brother. That was a nice encounter, and it's nice to know that I have, at long last, made friends with a so-called customer. [Still refuse to believe he's 17!]

On Friday morning a Phantom tooted his horn at me on the ECP. I was thinking, maybe my lights aren't turned on or something, so I turned, and what did he do? He waved. Kalau he's around my age takper jugak but NO, he's 45+++. Kalau dier Raime pun takper jugak but NO, he's just some random bapak orang. So I smiled at him, perah to 140++, and lost him as quickly as I could.

Lonerguy is still cute. Too bad he knows it.

[Are there any guys out there who are really cute, but don't know it? I'd like to meet them.]

Thursday was spent at West Coast again. Lovesloves. Espesh the white chocolate raspberry cake from McCafe. Yum.

double yum

And yes, Malam Pentas on Friday night with Hanom. [Ignore the ugly people in the background.]

I took shitloads of photos over the past few days, and I've actually been rajin enough to upload them and transfer them into a thumbdrive so I can blog from school, so..

*Image-heavy* again!

West Coast <3!

I'm going here in awhile for another solo lunch. Whee!

Ngantuk, bang?

Farid will kill me if he sees this, but takper. I'll take my chances. [I don't want you to leave us for Hugo Boss, Farid!!!]

So I was at Sentosa yesterday with Daddy, and they were in the middle of setting up a huge flower exhibition for this event, Sentosa Flowers [or some shit] starting 18 Feb. The theme is Rhymes in Bloom, so I'm sure everyone knows which nursery rhyme this is from.

[It also got me thinking about Baba, which was why I decided to message her for cupcakes.]
Baa baa black sheep

What's that I see?

have you any wool?

Cute kan?

my love

I'm not sure what this is, though. And sorry, I like to take senget photos.

We cable-car-ed from Jewel Box at Mount Faber to Sentosa, and back a coupla hours later. I was wondering aloud if anyone ever takes the cable car alone and guess what? We saw a manjen dude, all dressed up, with a bouquet of flowers, ALONE! He got into the car after ours, and we spent the whole ride thinking up possible scenarios and feeling sorry for him. But I think that story has a happy ending la, because I saw him later around Mount Faber [still alone] looking happier. Presumably waiting for a late date?

view from the top

This was the view from the cable car at night. Personally, I think the view from Mount Faber is nicer.

Siloso Beach is nice at night because
1. Takder orang.
2. I love the Siloso Beach Resort hotel that's like, literally a stone's throw away. Kau boleh macam, do a standing broad jump and still reach it.
Sorry ya I can't take nice photos.
3. Cafe Del Mar (Singapore), the new beach bar, is SO rockin'! Love the decor and the music is to terkencing for. [Chillout stuff.] You feel like you're in another country. And I didn't even step inside!

<3
Hope yours was good too!

Happy Valentine's Day.

Yesterday wasn't such a great day at work for me. Everything seemed to be going wrong. But it got better at the end of the night.

Because Naz gave me a rose!!!

Thank you, Naz. <3 Naz. I know I was macam, step-unmoved by the gesture and all, but I was really. I just didn't wanna cry buckets infront of you again. Haha.

[And how could I not be? It was the first real flower I ever got for Valentine's Day. (I remember when Baba gave me a plush flower. You know, the giant ones from toyshops that Fana once used to point at clothes at Tekka?) And it was just very sweet la.]

Have fun y'all!

D's shirt

The shirt I got for him. Lovesloves!

new tshirt!

My adorable Dr. Seuss t-shirt which cost forty-three bucks. Loves too!

roboh-ed display at Toys'R'Us

What happened to "Happily ever after.."?

rise to the foam challenge

Last year, Nat challenged me to make star-shaped foam. This was my response to her challenge. Unfortch, it turned into a flower. Lawar though, right?

-_-

Guess who?

Wokay that'll be all for now.
You know how, after you've done an amount of actual work, you feel really light and buoyant?

And you know how I *heart* boys, and just seeing one cute boy can put an extra ray of sunshine in my day?

So when you put the two together, don't you think you'll come up with a winning feel-good combination?

Well, that's what I'm feeling now!

Haha. Takla. I was macam hungry after lecture, and no kakis today, so I decided to take a short ride down to West Coast for some good food and better studying. So what if Alfian's not around? I can do it by myself too! Anyway I made it there safely and in good time and all, so I settled down with a McWings meal and my spectro tutorial. As I was finishing up, a large bunch [I counted seven] of ITE mats trooped in.

ITE mats! [Riding ITE mats, no less.] I haven't had a feast of those for so long! Maklumlah, no more riding prac, and no hanging out at Tampines, and busy working, etc. They jostled to sit next to me, and while discussing what to eat, one of them proclaimed, "Ayam!" at which the rest of them guffawed amusedly.

They were so cute, espesh the one at the far end with shades and black sleeves under his uniform.

Unfortch, they had to get back to school. I was tempted to leave with them as well, but my own school responsibilities were calling, too. So I stayed there.

Maybe we'll meet again?

By the way, West Coast Mac's isn't as lengang as I thought. It's pretty busy during lunchtime, which was when I was sitting there with a six-seater table all to myself. Haha. Office people, I think, from whatever buildings those are, across the road.

[It's Lonerguy's birthday! I didn't realise till I left the LT and it was too late to wish him!]

Okay Nat is done, tata bye!
Hot date yesterday, and I bumped into HK at Lido Mac's with his current squeeze. Of course he doesn't remember/recognise me so it wasn't weird or anything. Sometimes I wish we could go back to that day in the train. And maybe one of us would have done something differently, and it wouldn't turn out the way it has now. Because of course, our tiniest actions have the most far-reaching consequences.

I don't like the way they look at me as though I've changed, because I haven't. I've always been this way, it's just that no one has ever bothered to love me and pamper me like he does. It's not like my standard of work has fallen, and it's not like I have any fewer morals or picked up any vices, and it's not even that I disobey my parents. [On a lighter note, it's not like I stopped checking out cute guys, or layaning the existing ones!]

Yesterday we had dinner at Newton. Scrap whatever previous feelings I had for Newton, because I lovesloves it now! Haha. The uncle I usually order from remembers me, and where I work! He's so nice la. But you know. Can't afford to eat his crabs on a daily basis, so it'll be awhile before I get to see him again.

I am going for a solo lunch, once the hour hits eleven and/or my notes are printed, whichever is sooner.

Sunday, February 11, 2007

Today I just slept all day [and night]. How piggish of me right? It's amazing how pemalas I can be. I'd even turned on my laptop to blog but decided to shut it down cos I just wanted to sleep.

What a waste of a day.

[When you're working and schooling, I think non-working weekends are hard to come by, and should therefore be properly appreciated.]

Anyways. Hit Vivo yesterday with Hanom. I wasn't about to do any actual shopping--at least none for myself--but then I lost my shades in the toilet pasal AKU BODOH, and I was feeling sad and depressed and all, so I started looking for a new pair. Topshop takder, but I bought another pair of black pants "for work". Hehe. Well they turned out to be a tad too long, but aku takut nak alter cos the last time I did that, they became slightly too short. Right now, I'll settle for folding them, even though it looks completely nerdy.

After that, nothing really tickled my eyeballs. Till we walked into River Island [where everyone is friendly without being annoying. It's amazing!] and I found the inner shades. I couldn't stop trying them on. But they cost $45, so aku pun macam fikir dua kali. I thought I'd just walk around, and if I still wanted them then, I'd come back for them. So I was in the shoe section, and guess what? They have my size! Guess what else? My size isn't the largest available! But of cos, harga dier pun lawar, so I'll save that for another month.

Almost forgot to explore the men's section. Which would have been a pity, because I found a whole bunch of cufflink shirts! Totally laaa! And while I was admiring this striped brown shirt with blue seams, the most adorable retail assistant approached us and offered his help in the most un-annoying way. I know it was his eyes that moved Hanom, but I was more swayed by the tone of his voice. Haha.

Yes and I ended up getting the shirt ($105) AND the shades. Lovesloves.

Bumped into Nutz, who wasn't working, but was there anyway.

I'm sorry, love.

Wrote this during stats tutorial:

"So anyway, it transpires that they only have intranet here. Therefore, no Gmail and no MySpace and no Friendster. Worst of all, no Blogger. But I should be able to send email, so I’ll just cut-and-paste this into LJ/Blogger later. Hehe.

Lonerguy is such a natural flirt. Maybe I’ve said this before, but I have to say it again: He is a natural flirt. It’s very unnerving for me, someone who has once had a huge unwavering crush on him, to sit next to/behind him and have him glance at me with that cheeky expression on his face, that smile and those eyes, and the merepek things he says. And it’s like, I wanna strangle him and hug him at the same time! Unfortch for me, that ambivalence was reflected on my face just now. Which was why Alfian turned around and was grinning at me.

He’s a charmer, no doubt about it.

Gots to keep reminding myself that he has a girlfriend [not to mention a line of other girls still willing to go out with him anyways]. And that I have one too.

Was at West Coast Mac’s again just now. I swear, it rocks too much. Today there was an adorable baby girl who reminded me of Ayu [from Bujang Lapok]. She was tiny, with hair so short she could pass for a boy without those pierced ears, and had a single sock on her right foot. Leaning on the table drinking from her bottle, stuffing her fingers into her mouth, eating with her left hand. Alfian waved at her and she waved back.

I want a baby of my own too, but the catch is--like I told Alfian--you need to get married to have one. [And don’t give me that bullcrap about how it’s a modern society and shit. I’m still a Muslimah.]

The guy next to me is playing FreeCell or some similar shit. I love the spot I’m sitting at. Actually I love this room. The sunlight streams in and fills the whole room, and it just has an overall bright feel to it. Correction: I would love this room if they had actual internet. Haha.

Why am I hungry again? I knew I should have had another hashbrown. Wahaha.

I miss Daddy. I cannot believe I am finally free to go out with him, officially, rightfully, in the most un-bitchy, un-two-timing manner! It wasn’t without the pain and hurt la. I do not like hurting people. [*Looks at Penny, who wants to be a hitman.*] Espesh if they did nothing to deserve it.

Hehe tadi on the way back from Mac’s, a guy on an Africa-Twin-ish bike at the traffic light smiled at me! Grinned, in fact. It was quite funny. So I smiled back. Because sometimes the attention is nice. But sometimes it’s not. Like when I’m sweating buckets at the petrol station and all I want is five minutes of snow so I won’t look so frightful. Or when I’m trying to squeeze out of/into a tight space when my parking already sucks. And so on.

Speaking of sucky parking, I was at the Bukit Timah/Newton Shell the other day, buying 2T, and there was this Mercedes SLK-class at the pump behind me that I was admiring. Of course when the driver got back, I left her to her own business and started my bike la. Next moment, I heard a dull crashing sound. I thought it was a stack of crates jatuh or something, and I turned. I was wrong. It was the Merc. She crashed it into the step of the next pump!!!

Buat malu pompan je. Kalau ber-P-plate takper jugak.

Alritey gtg bye!"

I'm hungry. I feel like going to look for Abdillah so I can go eat again. But I won't. Haha.

Am at Central Lib now. But I still prefer Scilib, for reasons I've enumerated enough over the past couple of months so I'll give everyone a break now.

For this week, I put all X's on my schedule so I could take a much-needed break from work, concentrate a little on school, and spend time with friends [i.e. Dodol. I miss him so much!]. But Dean made a helluva lot of noise, and asked me for one day, so I conceded Friday to him. The next day he asked if I could work Saturday. I said I had Nadia's kenduri. So he put me down to work from eight till closing. On Monday I was hanging out at store, and this time they requested I do preclosing on Tuesday. Since aku kesiankan Shermeen and since Tuesday is normally my closing day, I said okay. Finally, yesterday Naz came to store and asked me to do preclosing on Thursday cos she's short of two partners. After a short negotiation, I said okay.

Summary: despite planning to work for zero days, I am now working four. Congrats Ain.

I blame my inability to say no [See? It doesn't just apply to sinful deeds!] and my desire for $$$ [to maintain my lifestyle].

Daddy and I walked up and down the entire stretch of Orchard Road, just because I wanted to eat Ben & Jerry's, but I still had to go to work. Haha. Wasn't looking forward to work, but it turned out to be pretty okay, judging from the way I was skipping and jumping around, and giggling away with Shermeen.

There was this group of three cute guys hanging around trying to decide what to buy. No, they were really cute. Espesh this particular one who looked macam-pernah-nampak, but I attributed it to him looking like Hello Kitty [wow, digging up old nicknames!]. Well, needless to say, I was quite happy to be taking POS.

But the magic blew away when Hello Kitty [the appointed spokesperson for the group] asked, "Kak, sini ada Pure Vanilla tak?" HELLO! Who can spot how many mistakes were made there?

1. Calling me "Kak". Only certain people can get away with it. REALLY uber-hot guys. And my friends, of course.
2. Thinking we're Coffee Bean. I mean, if you wanted Coffee Bean, there are actually TWO within breathing distance.

But you know. Obviously I couldn't snap at him or anything. So I just handled them as usual, but like I said, the magic was gone.

It was much later that I found out that they're Young Lions [or something similar, I really don't follow the soccer scene].

Thank you Tasha and Shermeen for letting me leave early. Needs the sleep balls.

Finally. At the carpark there was this seemingly-cute dude, also on a black KR, also wearing the same helmet, also an FU-plate, ... Macam soulmate gitu kan? HAHA.

Response to Amy's post: This is the guy I want to sing at my wedding. Hehe.

Relaku menunggumu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benarkah hidupku kan selama ini

Biar berputar utara selatan
Ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia

Relaku mengejarmu seribu batu jauh lagi
Tapi benarkah kakiku kan tahan sepanjang jalan ini

Biar membisu burung bersiulan
Tenanglah gelombang lautan
Ku masih setia

Adakah engkau yakin ini cinta
Adakah engkau pasti ini tuk selama-lamanya

Relaku menunggumu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benarkah hidupku kan selama ini

Biar berputar utara selatan
Ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia

During my shift on Saturday, two things happened:

1. Dan[ish] came by with his friends, and while I was bussing their table, he said, "Hi Ain.. See, I know your name!" So I smiled and laughed and said, "Yeah.. You're Dan, right?" and he nearly died of shock and demanded to know how I knew his name. Ha. Try to get one up on me? I'll get you right back, no matter how frickin' adorable you look in that scarf.

2. Daryl came back from bussing sometime towards midnight and said, "Guess what I found on the floor of LT?" Held up the dustpan to reveal a used diaper sitting on top of the rubbish pile. There was no need for prompting, I just started cackling with laughter.

'Nuff said.

Sunday, February 04, 2007

Yesterday was exciting because [in chrono order]:
1. I was whistled at by a bunch of overage mat karats in a yellow car in the right lane on the PIE.
2. I was saing-ing with this Aprilia for a coupla traffic lights on the way to work.
3. I was kacau-ed by this huge bunch of dak-dak motor at the carpark after work.
4. I encountered my first-ever roadblock!
5. We bumped into another bunch of dak-dak motor at Loyang Avenue, and one of them smiled and nodded at me.

HAHA.

I was bored during lecture, of course.

Someone was trying out disguises to see if people would still recognise him.

The cool magnets at store! See them LIVE before more of them get stolen by assholic customers!

Yesterday Alfian and I went to West Coast Mac's and I had brunch. West Coast Mac's rocks. It's so different from East Coast's, that's for sure. And there was a large bunch of nursery kids, so adorable. Reminds me of the times when I used to study at BK and similar bunches would come screaming and have lunch.

ALL the other bikes at the lots were big bikes. Lawar nak mampos pulak tu. So I was saying, "Wow buat malu sey motor aku kat sini.." and Alfian rebutted, "KAU malu? How bout me? They'll be wondering, apek maner entah datang makan McDonald's."

Haha.

OMG work was so tiring yesterday, I nearly died. But people were understanding, thank God.

Dang, gots to get ready for work in awhile. This is tiring. But Dean won't let me catch a break. Takper, kasi chance, since he's leaving soon. :S

Friday, February 02, 2007

At my usual terminal in Scilib now. Haha. Not going for Stats because I read through the notes yesterday and I pretty much understand them, so yeah. Haha. Sorry aku giler.

Can't decide whether to go home or hang around after this. Yargh.

I wish it were as easy as running away. But it's not.

oooOOOooo I was taking a coupla bored photos in lecture just now, cos I was exploring the other functions of my beloved cybershot. Maybe later today or tomorrow k.

Thursday, February 01, 2007

From the minute that you got my attention
I was taken and I have to mention
I was tryin' not to let it show
But I know that I wasn't gonna let you go

From the way that you came up to me
Lookin' all hot with the style that threw me
No one would've ever known
That you would be the one to take this heart and hold it

You got that extraordinary way
Got to be next to ya every single day
You do somethin' that I just can't explain
Wanna take the chance and tell you you're the one for me

Boy, I love you so
Just look in my eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
Yeah do you know that
Boy, I love you so
Look in these eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
I just want you to know

You could say anything you want to
No stress cos I understand you
We got a vibe you can't define
Want everyone to know that boy is mine

We walk by and they stop and stare
At the way you hold me when you take me there
At times I feel I'll lose control
And forget everyone but the hand I'm holdin'

Please know this:
I'll always be right here and
You don't have to look nowhere else babe
Don't think for a minute
That this love will change
Oh you should know that

Boy, I love you so
Just look in my eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
Yeah do you know that
Boy, I love you so
Look in these eyes
They'll tell you where this could go
I just want you to know

Am freezing my digits off in S10 CBLC. But just wanted to drop a note, and say that I'm NOT IN LECTURE, haha. Even though I reached school at 730 today.

Daddy picked me up from school yesterday just cos I didn't have the bike. Another sweet gesture in this week of sweet gestures. I just can't take it anymore.

Two songs, playing in my head since last night.

Wednesday, January 31, 2007

I am hungry.

Yesterday he came by at around eleven to send me home. I really don't see the rationale, since I would have had the bike otherwise, but I appreciate the gesture.

He just sat there doing nothing till we finished closing. And, thanks to Farid, I finished slightly earlier, so I joined him on the sofa as well. Thank you Dean for understanding. [Even though earlier kau bingit ngan aku, :S]

Okay I'm hungry and he's already here anyways.

[I finished lab early, and it's the same lab as Lonerguy, AND the cute guy from last week's lab pun ada! Rocking or what?]

Why is he so nice to me?

Monday, January 29, 2007

"But why are they following meeeee...???" I wailed.

"Because you're wearing shorts--and they're men!" he replied.

I nearly died of laughter.

[Two different police cars ended up trailing me. It was weird, not to mention unnerving. So I was wondering why.]
Photos first!

Nanti bleh bebual.

Hanom and I at MEGA BITES [haha], and no, we didn't pakat to wear the same colour.
My baby with a rusty pipe.
St. James. And no, Atikk, I do NOT look naked.
More St. James. Happy birthday Sala.
Yes, the pink-haired troll I do NOT recognise.

Daddy came to store after Saturday closing, and we all ended up having supper together. Seafood, yummy! The Newton uncle is really nice. But I insisted on talking to him in English. Thank you Naz for being nice to Amin. Haha.

Farid was.. More himself than I've ever seen him before. Twice as giler, twice as kecoh, twice as funny. Videos, for orang-orang yang nak tengok, available upon request.

Yesterday evening I went out with Daddy again. Esplanade, MSQ, Suntec, and the ECP.

Happy when I'm with him, so I've decided to stop caring about the logic or morals behind this.

Friday, January 26, 2007

The guy next to me is talking to himself and therefore thoroughly pissing me off.

I miss my boyfriend, sort-of-kind-of.

It turns out that R1 guy was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend. Oops. Sorry too late.

GUESS WHO ADDED ME ON FRIENDSTER!
Okay sorryla I know I said I was over him and everything, but like I said to Nat, a residual crush-feeling lingers.

[Sorry I'm totally random, and people who know me better will realise that I skipped all the bad stuff, because you know, I'm an escapist.]

Other than that, St. James was a blast.

Just now I felt like a baby or something because I booked a comp at the Central Lib, and when I got to the terminal there was this ASSHOLE OF A GUY sitting there who refused to acknowledge that I'd booked the comp, and stubbornly tried to log in himself. So I went to the CBLC guy, and he and another guy went to the terminal, and the offender was chased away. WAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.

Tulah, nak curik computer orang. Baling helmet ni kat kau baru tahu.

I am so tired.

It's not like I did much. I didn't even go out, although I was tempted to ask Dodol out on the phone. He sounded like he wanted to go out too. But I resisted. And slept early. And omg I'm still sleepy. And I tersadared at 245 a.m. for odd reasons unknown to me.

The day hasn't been terrific or anything, but I count my blessings. That nice guy from lab still talks to me, haha. So cute.

Anyways. I want this tshirt. Nice! *jumps around*

the advisors

Sleepysleepysleepy.

I bought a Happy Meal yesterday because the featured toy was a troll with pink hair from Trollz. Now, Trollz is one of my favourite cartoons, but I don't know who this troll with pink hair is. I've never seen her on TV.

One day someone should open a fast-food restaurant that's the antithesis of McDonald's. You know, with Small Macs and Triple Cheeseburgers and McBlands and my personal favourite, the Sad Meal. *jumps around somemore*

Ohyeah been wanting this tshirt too.

perpetuate the stereotype

The other time this semi-cute guy walked into store wearing something that looked like it. So on Mat's prompting, I asked him, "Is that Threadless?" But it turned out it wasn't, and he'd bought it in Chatuchak. [Ahhh, Chatuchak. Memories.] He said the label says Playtwo or something. Hmm. Interesting. Threadless copycats abound.

Well. Sorry for crapping. Boring la, all these breaks.

I don't normally do this, but

I would like to fuck upside-down the driver of SGL749C.

Thank you for swerving into our lane, without even signalling or bothering to check behind you, and therefore nearly killing us, if he hadn't braked in time. Itu pun terscrape depan sikit. And my heart was going at the same speed as the bike, I think. Takper. Just watch out. Too bad tadi motor baru, so takleh kejar. But just wait la. And don't watch out for a blue KR. Wrong colour yea. '

Otherwise, had another great day with Daddy. At Vivo. Whose features I finally got to see properly. Yayy.

Saturday, January 20, 2007

So anyway, today didn't start off so great but it was terrific after that. Met Hanom for lunch--a really long, drawn-out one with dessert-dessert skali, plus the cute PeterPan guy. Haha. After that I decided not to go for stats, as usual, and we both went to Atikk's place and hung out for a coupla hours.

SO COOL.

Then I gave Atikk a lift to her workplace and went to meet Daddy. So much for telling Fiddy that I was tired and was gonna go home and sleep, because I ended up hanging out with Daddy and his friends all over Orchard. I swear, all his friends are cute. I am not kidding.

JunkFood tees are the new love. But he wouldn't let me buy even one. In fact, he wouldn't let me buy anything. Cos he said I've spent enough for one month. And he told me to wait till next month. Lucky that, cos if not I think I would have spent easily a coupla hundred dollars.

Next month.. Still waiting..

I was really jealous though, cos Hairul and Ahmad and Isnoor were buying things left and right. Hairul got the coolest Globe wallet, it has a cool removable tempat-taruk-important-cards. NAKKKK. And only 29 bucks, too. Dang.

Hung out till eleven-plus, then he "sent" me home. Haha. I would call it a waste of petrol, but I guess he would call it "running-in".

Friday, January 19, 2007

In Science Lib now. This is like my second home. I'm forever here, surfing and printing stuff. I bet the CBLC people think I'm poor and takder computer kat rumah. Haha.

I'm even using the exact same terminal I used yesterday, and it actually remembers all my login usernames and the websites I visited!

Pretty fucking cool.

I am bored. I know I should be doing something constructive, like catching up on the 7549275 hours of lectures that I missed in these first two weeks of school. But I can't do it, I just can't! Haha. The only productive thing I did today was to email the Chem department for a practical slot. And of course, print notes. My whole life consists of printing notes. And then not using them.

I'm also hungry. Baru makan five hours ago whatttt.. Oh and just now in lecture, I was craving the lightly salted chips from store. Remind me to steal a bag tomorrow.

Traffic today was better than yesterday, even though I left the house later this morning. Weeeeiiirddd.

Anyway. BC tomorrow! Finally! Wahahaha.

Okay, they're like taking forever to print my stuff so let's just forget it.

Thursday, January 18, 2007

I went to ASPhoon after class just now because Amin baru angkat motor. I got there without getting lost, that's really something to be proud of! It turned out to be right opposite the old Woodsville, which I've definitely been to before, although a coupla years back, of course.

It looks a little different from mine, but nice plate number. After that I had to lead the way to the nearest petrol station [which turned out to be Caltex, unfortch. Nice restrooms though. Those ads weren't exaggerating!], and after that to his place in Yishun.

Picked up Arif, and we just hung around a bit before they "sent" me home. Haha.

Anyway. Random photos.

[I don't know what to say, except that this isn't the first time I've wasted tens of dollars before.]

Overall, a shitty day. The only thing that kept me from deliberately getting into a rabak accident was that phone call from him.

<3

[Shhh jangan bilang orang!]

Tuesday, January 09, 2007

It's wet and cold outside and I'm at home why? Because I stupidly left my POS card at home, so I had to go back and get it before I go to work later. And I'm not going for my 2 p.m. class because it's raining now and I'm still tired from yesterday.

Don't ask what I did.

Been enjoying a week of fame at work because my face is pasted on the espresso machine. Haha.

Friday, January 05, 2007

Yesterday wasn't such a great day.

In fact, it hasn't been a great year, and it's only just started.

It wasn't any specific thing la, it's just an accumulation of a bunch of unidentified annoyances. As I was saying to Farid. Who immediately seized upon my usage of the phrase "unidentified annoyance" and claimed it to be the source of his pasrah-ness too.

Farid is giler. But beginning to understand him a little more each day. You see, even hot-as-hell guys have their problems. And they aren't too different from the ones normal civilians like me face.

Thank you Naz for listening. <3 Naz.

After work I was feeling completely dissatisfied and unhappy, so I went down to St. James to meet Dayah and Zahdan. Itu pun macam half-hearted. Partly cos I didn't know how to get there. And it was one of those unfortunate days where I didn't bring my street directory cos I didn't think I was going out after work. So I followed my vague recollection of how the company cab got to Vivo, reasoning that it's pretty hard to get lost in Singapore anyway, and omg I found myself at St. James without having to make a single U-turn!

It was nice. They didn't even check my ID, which I thought was cool. Haha. And the crowd was pretty alright too. Except for this manjen dude, who, although cute, was trying too hard and ended up being just creepy.

Friday, December 29, 2006

My life hasn't been as boring as the lack of posts seems to suggest--I've just been malas to blog.

Yesterday night I went clubbing with Dayah, Az and Aliyah, and Dayah's friend, who was bringing a guy friend of hers. I nearly died when I realised it was Yazid. Haha.

We went to Attica, got bored with the crowd [well, some of us anyway] and switched to dbl o instead. Haha. WHERE someone pinched my arm within five seconds of entering the dancefloor, then I realised it was Naz! So cute la si giler tu.

Had fun and all, but I was missing my baby.

But Attica was a nice first. We had to wear the most adorable masks to get into Attica Too. And there was a singular cute guy. Tu je.

masquerade!

Thursday, December 28, 2006

I was at the DBS autolobby at work today, doing some ATM tinkering, and there were these two really cute--for once!--[malay] CISCO dudes, just doing their thing. Omg and when one of them walked away for awhile, the taller one holding the bags stuffed with money looked right at me and smiled! I completely died and resurrected on the spot. SO HOT.

oooOOOooo and yesterday in company cab home, there was this cute guy from OF. All tall and dark and handsome, like that Borders guy. UNFORTCH, he didn't talk to me, although he did sit next to me [not having any other choice, obviously].

Well. Gots to go to sleep.

Monday, December 25, 2006

Today was cool cos I woke up at 6 p.m. when Dodol called. Haha. And we went to catch Eragon at TM, with dinner at SB-TM before that. Plus it was all his treat cos konon birthday aku, haha!

Loves hanging out with Dodol, he's really loads of fun.

Oh yes and I got my new phone, wahoo!

Sorry, been a long time since I blogged, so I'm still trying to get back into it.

Sunday, December 17, 2006

190 on my baby.

Just imagine that.

I went out with Boy Riz yesterday night. I went to Lau Pa Sat, all by myself, and I didn't get lost, not once!

After that we went to Changi Village for nasi lemak, and I nearly died of boredom pasal dier bawak at 80 all the way. Haha. So when we reached Changi aku sound dier sikit ah. Oooh and I bumped into Wackygal there too! At long last we meet in person huh? So cool.

Sooo, lepas aku da sound him, from Changi to Cine, he went all the way up to 170 sial! Aku macam grabbed him so tight, dier pun terperanjat. Dier giler, I swear! We exited at Stevens Road, and at the red light infront of SJI there was macam a whole bunch of dak-dak motor. Maybe it was a good thing bukan aku yang bawak, cos then it'd attract a lot more attention. Scary.

Well, unfortch, the 430 show was sold out at Cine, so we went back downstairs and chilled kat SB-OB [?]. Which has a toilet! I didn't realise. Haha. Anyway we left at around six, and we went back by CTE, so on our way to Newton Circus, there was this other bike that step tanak kalah ngan kiter. But they went by PIE la, so when we saw them kat PIE later, wow abeh nak blow-blow!

So si Riz aper lagi kan, he perah giler babi ah! I was just macam dying behind. And it was already six, so there were more cars on the road and stuff. Abeh si giler ni, swerving and banking away. Mampos aku. Turned out the guys on the other bike were his friends. And they recognised him by his helmet, so that's why they were macam racing with us.

190! We were going at 190! I bet other road users were like, Kau si budak P-plate ni giler sak..

Saturday, December 16, 2006

Just a quick one, because I really need to get a coupla hours sleep before I meet Hanom at noon later.

I'm sure we'll have loads to talk about, which is why I'm not giving it a miss, even though the timing's a bit unearthly for me.

My body clock is so out of whack. Balik pagi, tido LEPAS subuh, bangun lepas zuhur. Wonder what'll happen when school starts.

But really, I digress. I was at POS today [as usual], and being me, while serving the customer, I was also checking out the cute guys further down the line, and trying to speed up my transaction so that I can serve them in turn. Haha. So there was this particular cute guy I was checking out, but I was macam busy serving the customer before him. Then he caught my eye and smiled. And I realised that I know him! Well, actually, I only know him because he used to come by a lot and berasmaradana with his girlfriend, but they were always really friendly to me, especially him.

And even while I was serving the lady before him, he greeted me with, "Biler nak belanja air ni?"

OMG. Why did he say that?

Yeah it didn't end there. I told him, "Biler tak busy boleh belanja ah.." and he was like, "Ah, belanja lah.. Chocolate danish ke.." and gestured vaguely to the pastry case. He told me he works at Zara Vivo, oh and I did test him by sampuking, "Your girlfriend takder?" and he unabashedly replied, "Tak, dier kerja.." but continued being all whatever, asking me if I was working till closing, etc.

And I happened to be the one to hand off his drink, and he did that scrunchy-eyes thing at me!

Ya Allah. The thing that throws me is the fact that he was flirting with me at all. This was definitely our first real conversation, and First Real Conversations don't usually go like that. And you know, I'm cool. It would be perfectly cool and exciting if he were just another run-of-the-mill cute guy, but he's a guy with a girlfriend, so macam weird.

Well. Prolly the most interesting to happen today, so yes, I've been having a boring life.

Thursday, December 14, 2006

I'm beginning to like doing closing. If you do it really quickly, you can sit around on the sofas and chill while waiting for the tak-guna cleaners to finish their work. I can't believe how bloody long they take. Seriously. If you take longer than I do, it means you're slow.

After work I sat around with Dean, while waiting for the cleaners and/or his cab. And I did so many useful stuffs! Rearranging the retail wall [slightly], rearranging the POS area, trying to convince him to get another chair for the back room, and talking to him bout lots of nonsense, one of which was the sexuality status of the partners. HAHA.

I like the feeling of not having to rush.

Today Rin slapped my butt for fun, and then decided that she loves it [my butt] and so now she squeezes it for hours at a time. [Okay, no, but for a really long time anyway.] Plus Dean started calling me "Duck", for reasons unknown to me, but which I suspect has something to do with aforementioned incident.

Oooh just now I was parking [very cautiously, as usual] at the open carpark at work. After that I was doing whatever merepek-meraban that I usually do after parking, and one of those annoying don't-worry-I'm-not-selling-anything[-but-actually-I-am] people datang menyebok. So by the time I shook him off and everything, I was slightly disoriented. Worse when a GSX-R came by and decided to park at the spot one bike next to mine. He kept looking at me, it was sooooo off-putting! So I quickly stuffed in my parking coupon and left. Five steps away, I realised I left my key in the ignition, BUAT MALU, so I had to go back and take it out, and he was still looking!

Embarrassed in front of a GSX-R!

I'm with Amy on the live performances thing.

She's amazing, she really is.
I think it's interesting how, even though I'm having a break from school, and my workplace is in the heart of town, and I have a bike, I still haven't gone clubbing. I swear MoS misses me.

But anyway, it doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything besides work. It does mean that when I have days off, I wander around the house feeling useless and bored, with a touch of moodiness. Until finally people decide to get off their butts and ask me out.

Today, however, after my initial phase of useless boredom, STILL no one asked me out, so I took Baby out after maghrib and went to store to pick Nat up. I feel bad pasal it seems like I'm always hogging Baby. And dah terlanjur kat situ, I could run a coupla errands--buy my brother's birthday present and get myself a calendar/book.

Went to Topman for the present, where I had a semi-hard time deciding between two really hot jackets. In the end I plumped for the black one. It is so hot, I swear. I'm really proud of myself for buying it, haha. And no, contrary to popular belief [*glares at Nat*], I'm not buying it so I can "borrow" it all the time. It really is for my brother.. But let's just say I'm living vicariously through him. If I can't have a boyfriend to buy Topman stuff for, then I guess buying it for my brother is the best I can get.

After that was Borders, where I wanted to get The Book of Fairytales but it was shittily only in hardcover, and I didn't have the thirty-five bucks required to get it, so I settled for Lolita instead. Actually there's a whole bunch of books I've been wanting to get, but you know, books cost so much these days, I really can't afford to get too many of them.

Weird, isn't it? They want us to read more, then why make books so expensive? The library only has that many books, you know.

I'm dying to plunge into my novel, but maybe I should save it for a good reading day, like Saturday. Oh, what to do, what to dooooo..

I parked at the [very slope-y] LT carpark today, and when I went back upstairs to go home, there was a bunch of mats gathered at the bikes about two bikes away from Baby. Obviously, when they spotted me, semua toleh tengok ah. But it was like so embarrassing, so I completely avoided looking in their direction at all. When I was kickstarting, semua tengok. Nasib baik I managed to get it first time. Embarrassing y'know. What if I dropped the bike or something? I'd never show my face in public again. Thankfully everything went smoothly, so I left promptly, and that was the end of that.

Monday, December 11, 2006

I had a near-accident while driving for the second time today. I hate not knowing how I'm going where I'm going, I guess. Makes it easier for me to panic. But anyway, I think my sister forgives me, Alhamdulillah, and she says I need more practice. Yup. So I still had to drive back from Lau Pa Sat.

Yeah but I suppose that was enough excitement for one day. The rest of it was spent sleeping and watching TV, as usual.

Sunday, December 10, 2006

I'm sick.

Beginnings of a sore throat. Just as well I'm not going out, I guess. [Actually I'm just trying to console myself. So work with me here.]

Hehe just now after work, Nat and I were walking towards the Wheelock toilet, and I was still in dresscode, pulling on my white sleeves. And this mat who was walking past us apparently [because it was Nat, not me, who overheard him] said to his friend, "Aku suker pompan pakai gitu.." while looking straight at me! So I immediately concluded, "That means dier suker aku!" *kembanggg*

Haha.

Yea anyway after that we went to Topshop [albeit with a detour or two] for my birthday shopping spree. And to collect my beautiful brown pants. I tried on the party dress I was salivating over the other time, and it more or less fit, BUT I guess I'm too short, so it looks weird, PLUS the bodice part is weird and squashes my boobs. Takyah sua. Well. $199 saved.

I did, however, get a pair of grey shorts, two of the same back-slashed tshirts in different designs, a cute black shirt that I already have in purple, and a long-sleeved top/dress. After the birthday discount, it came up to $252.

Two hundred and fifty-two freaking dollars. Plus a bunch of points racked up on my FFF card, and the Christmas storedvalue card, and now I have fifty more free dollars to spend at Topshop [or Topman, or Dorothy Perkins, if you want to nitpick]. BY CHRISTMAS.

Or I could use those fifty bucks to contribute towards buying a hot shirt from Topman for my fictional boyfriend. Then I can start building up that collection of clothes for my fictional boyfriend, like I wanted to. Haha.

[Ow I banged my forehead against the fridge door just now and it hurts like balls! I swear the fridges at work hate me, they're always attacking me. Baik forehead, back, arm, front, and even the back of my head from when YZ accidentally shoved the fridge door closed into me.]

Can't find my camera, so no photos of the spoils. However, other photos..

Almost all the photos of me and Baby.

I had sooooo much fun on the 7th! LOVES the reindeer ears, and coincidentally, a hot guy working at Topshop was wearing the same thing! Clockwise from Nat would be Naz--most adorable manager ever--then Hafez--guess his age--and Ophe--fellow POS partner.

LOVE this photo. There's macam a halo of light around me. So cool kan? And that's me in my natural, unsmiling, muka-nak-tembak-orang element.

Friday, December 08, 2006

I'm so bored. Baru first day off. But when I work, I'm tired. Can't seem to strike a balance.

But proud of myself cos I've been a good girl the past week. Tuesday I went straight home after work cos I was so bloody tired. Wednesday I hung out at Changi Beach with Wai and Dino [who look much less weird than their names suggest]. Dah lama tak main buai! So fun! And yesterday I went to eat at Simpang with Muz and his very-caustic friend.

And oh God yesterday's Christmas Open House was SO BLOODY FUN!!! They assigned me to MBR, for some reason. Maybe they were worried I would berpeluh rabak in the other positions. Well, MBR was a blast. Ophe was at SBR so we were having a lot of fun giggling, running around in our antlers, and posing for photos.

Loves the antlers, they're macam so cute. And speaking of cute, no, there were no cute guys. Boring sey. I wonder where they all ran away to. But a couple of them came by after 7 la.

Ooooh and on Wednesday I had my first attachment. I went to Lido for like three hours. Haha nasib baik da kenal Rizal, else I'd be quite takut-takut. But omg it's macam so boringly un-busy at Lido! Which I still think is weird because I mean like, shouldn't we be getting the same kind of crowd? Or maybe people just don't like the takeaway type of service, and those who do don't feel like going up five storeys to get it.

But because it was unbusy, I got to CDR easily with people, when before aku macam malas. So I was like making four drinks for this lady, and while she waited I talked to her about her drinks, whipped cream, and how she's diabetic now so she can't have it anymore, her kids and how they love watching movies, and of course I told her about the open house.

And before she walked away she was like, "Oh by the way I didn't catch your name.." and I nearly died! So I told her, and she was like, "So if I go down to across the road you'll be there?" Wow. How fun. It's a nice warm feeling when people ask for your name.

Tuesday, December 05, 2006

It was supposed to be the greatest day of my life, the last day of exams.

After school we took the train back to Pasir Ris. The most adorable 2-year-old girl was in the train, chattering away in semi-baby-talk to her maid and her "jiejie"s [me and Nat]. Ahhhh.

*Tick-tick-tick*

Loves it when babies are not scared of me.

Anyways, went to TSP to get the rear brake fixed. Basically, they just changed the brake hose. From the pretty silver one to the stock black rubber one, boo. But Steven didn't charge us for it at all, how sweet. And best of all, the mechanic was SO CUTE LA!

I'm not kidding. When I started riding, cute mechanics didn't even cross my mind as a possibility. Least of all manjen mechanics with strong arms, soft brown hair, and the sweetest smile.

And no, it wasn't just me. Nat agreed that he's cute too! HAHA. Who knew that I could actually stop being shallow for one second and look past the dirt and grease and lack of communication?

Will definitely be looking out for that smile the next time I go back to TSP. Maybe I'll invent a new problem each month for him to deal with. Haha. Kidding.

Oh and by the way, no, it wasn't the greatest day of my life, the last day of exams.

Saturday, December 02, 2006

I went out again last night! Or this morning, if you prefer. I sat for like two hours outside Mac's, until Zack finally finished work.

Loves riding with Zack!

Anyway, it hit 1000! Time for mini-celebration, Hanom! *jumps around*

Friday, December 01, 2006

Heyness!

I just got home, haha. Went for a play, Jack and the Beansprout with my sister and her ELDDS charges. Haha. And Dodol, whom I invited at the last minute. It was fun! The play was hilarious. Very colourful and costumey with literal sets, cos it's targeted at kids. But banyak innuendos also lah, so it was funny to me too.

After the play, there was this girl who aleh-aleh wanted to take a photo with me. Before that she was macam smiling at me for some odd reason. Lepas tu, dah amek satu gambar tak cukup. She made Dodol take another one. Turns out she's adik Khairul. Haha. Although why she would need two photos with me is still beyond my comprehension.

Wow I really missed Dodol, he's so much fun la.

I had my first real drive just now. From Yuying to Simpang. And Dodol had the honour of being my shotgun passenger for my first drive! Haha. So weird, while my sister sat in the back. But it was fun. Couple of close shaves at Simpang though. Now I don't think I'll ever get the car unsupervised. Kalau riding boleh khayal sikit, kalau driving jangan harap ah. One glance at a cute mat and I go completely off course.

And yes, I'm a barefoot driver.

Simpang was great. A smattering of cute guys here and there. Loves my cute guys. Haha.

Wednesday, November 29, 2006

Remember my theory about being too psyched-up about something, and how it'll disappoint you in the end?

I was right.

He remains adorable, though, as you can see below:

cute kan?

Calvin [Bill Watterson] said, "There is not enough time to do all the nothing we want to do."

Calvin is right. It pretty much sums up how difficult studying has been for me lately. Haha.

(+)
I was just remembering what Hanom said about her profile views on myspace.
"I can't wait till it hits 1000! I'm gonna have a mini-celebration!"

Haha. Actually, you know what? Me too!

Less than 24 hours to Fifi!!!

And I had the bestest time last night, gi rounding with my new friend Zack. SUPER FUN! Nak lagi!!! Can't wait till the exams are over so we can do it again. *jumps around*

I love it when they try to get intimate
Even though they know i really ain't into it
(You're not into it)
I'm not into it
I already know their game and I've been through it
See I buy my own bags, my boots, my jeans
Wear La Rok with my Rebel Yell underneath
You wanna step to me
Said you got a long way 2 go
Rock wit me now

Hook:
Claim that you're so hot and you say you got skills in the bedroom
You try to flirt when you're so not
Had a chance you still never come through
You say you wanna come see me
Cos you know your girlfriend wanna be me
I'ma tell you why you can't
Said you got a long way 2 go
Say you wanna love me

Chorus:
Wanna love me
Wanna touch me
Think twice cos you got a long way 2 go
Don't know how to act
You better fall back
It's like that cos you got a long way 2 go
It's not that deep
Take it easy
You wanna please me
Got a long way 2 go
I'm a bad girl
You wanna get close
Ease up cuz you got a long way--

I love it when they try to get scandalous
Even though they know they really can't handle it
(They can't handle it)
They can't handle it
Try and take me out to dinner I cancel it
If you really wanna know me first of all
You should never try to get too personal
Cos I meant it when I said
That you got a long way to go

Hook:
Claim that you're so hot and you say you got skills in the bedroom
You try to flirt when you're so not
Had a chance you still never come through
You say you wanna come see me
Cos you know your girlfriend wanna be me
I'ma tell you why you can't
Said you got a long way 2 go
Say you wanna love me

Chorus:
Wanna love me
Wanna touch me
Think twice cos you got a long way 2 go
Don't know how to act
You better fall back
It's like that cos you got a long way 2 go
It's not that deep
Take it easy
You wanna please me
Got a long way 2 go
I'm a bad girl
You wanna get close
Ease up cuz you got a long way--

Bridge:
Claim that you're so hot and you say you got skills in the bedroom
You try to flirt when you're so not
Had a chance you still never come through

Cos you know your girlfriend wanna be me
Said you got a long way to go

Yessah!!! Two days and one hour to Fifi!!!

Wednesday, November 22, 2006

Threadless is here! Yay!

And only three more days to Fifi!

And I didn't get an ounce of studying done today, boo.

oooOOOooo and I really wouldn't mind berkenalan-ing with the blonde no-mud-guard mat from my carpark. =D
"One of these days shall we spend time 2gether?"

Macam so cute. Anyway. I'm very proud of myself cos I finally made my first legal download!!! TOtally. I got Cassie's Long Way 2 Go, which i adore. Love the music video too. Macam terasa sikit. Haha.

But actually this whole legal-downloading business is very annoying. Maybe not in the US la, but in Singapore the available downloads are lagging by months! So I still can't get, say, Beyonce's Irreplaceable, or Frankie J's That Girl. And it's not like I haven't tried the US sites, like Napster or WalMart. But they won't even let you sign up in the first place, so there's no point trying.

I'm hungry. And I had big plans to call McDelivery, but now it's raining, and I don't want the abang2 McDelivery to get wet [haha], so I'll just starve.

Just wanted to announce [to Hanom, mostly] that I'm feeling much better. Because.. Ohwell Hanom, you'll prolly hear about it on Saturday.

Yes, Saturday! Fifi's party is now only four days away! I am SO crazy with anticipation, it's not even funny. [Of course, my theory is that if you're really psyched up about something, it usually ends up disappointing you in the end. But I can't help it!]

I LOVE this song.

The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by
Eye to eye, they solemnly convene to make the scene
Which is the name of the game, watch a guy watch a dame on any street in town
Up and down and over and across, romance is boss

Guys talk "girl talk", it happens everywhere
Eyes watch girls walk with tender lovin' care

It's keepin' track of the fact watching them watching back
That makes the world go 'round
"What's that sound?" each time you hear a loud collective sigh
They're making music to watch girls by

Guys talk "girl talk", it happens everywhere
Eyes watch girls walk with tender lovin' care

It's keepin' track of the fact watching them watching back
That makes the world go 'round
"What's that sound?" each time you hear a loud collective sigh
They're making music to watch girls by

"Tuhan nak bagi calon yang lebih baik!"

Oh God seriously. I give up.

Just felt like I should update, since it's been a couple of days.

STILL crazy-anticipation about Fifi's birthday party, which is now one week away! [Also crazy-anticipation about other events, which shall remain unnamed.]

Yesterday was melayu.com.sg. I thought Pipi was SO FUNNY la. Or maybe it's just his face. Haikal was funny too, but then again, Haikal is always funny, on and off the stage. Atikk's favourite [married] theatre activist [or whatever you call them] was in the audience. He's so cool. And of course, Greenguy. Nat is amazing, I swear. She recognised him even in the dark! Respect ah girl!

At Connaught Drive where we exited from the carpark, there was a bunch of entah-aper mats, and I shouted, "Hi budak-budak!" as we rode past. Aku giler. Loves to spot cute guys while riding. Hey, at least I don't whistle at them. So uncivilised.

Finally we paid store chalet a visit. Dead, though. As in, the rest of the chalets. Where are the cute mat neighbours I was expecting? Well anyway I watched most of Tokyo Drift, FInally, and now I have a mad urge to learn drifting. [And sliding. Tapi tu lain cerita ah.]

Well, nak eat a late lunch now. [Even though I already had an early lunch, HAHA.]

Guess whose birthday barbecue Hanom and I just got invited to?

Well, you see, Hanom and I went to BC today cos we haven't been there since 30 Ramadhan/1 Syawal [malam Raya lah]. We met at like one, and Hanom stepped up to make the order as usual. After she ordered, Fifi told her he was having a bbq for his birthday, so would we both like to come?

She came back grinning after that.

Later, he scribbled an official invitation on the back of an order chit, and got the new guy to pass it to us.

SO COOL. And exciting. He also asked us to bring along our friends, in case we feel left out, so siaper2 nak ikot, please inform Hanom or me yeah? =D

We're gonna get him something from Topman, which makes it even more exciting because I've always wanted to get a guy something from Topman. Yessahhh.

I can't believe he invited us. [His girlfriend--I'm pretty sure he has one--will prolly be there, though. Yargh. But in such a case, I'm sure he has hot, single mat friends.] I feel so wanted and included now! Haha.

Yayyy!

[Ohyes, he's turning 26!!! Tua kan??? Everyone was telling me that he's prolly younger than us, well nyahnyah to all of youuuuu! Hehe. And he dyed his hair back to blonde, yay!]

I don't know about you, but it's depressing being alone in the Science Library during mugging peak period. [Except for cute Korean-lookalike guy sitting to my right.] I mean, it's great during normal times, cos the place is like empty and you have it all to yourself. But--sigh--it's just horrible now.

[*newsflash* =D I just got an unexpected call from the man I call "Daddy". I've decided to just admit how giler and a sucker-for-punishment I am, by admitting that I'm still hung up on him.]

Where was I? Ohyes, Science Library. Haha. Well yeah. It's shitty. At least being alone at natlib is cool. Kat sini nak tengok aper? [Aside from aforementioned cute guy, of course.]

If you can't tell, I finally hit 3000-words! 3447 words, to be precise. But I'm so malas to lug everything all the way to Physics block and look for him, so I'm just gonna wait for lecture. Which I'm not attending, I think, but what the hey.

Off to hand in lab report, and maybe later I'll be back with more somethings about nothing!
Now I'm rewarding myself for hitting the 2000-word mark. 1000 more to go! [Well, technically, 2000, but I'm giving myself a break here. There's really no way a human should be expected to write 4000 words on something she never had a clue about, in less than 24 hours. But it is my fault, so I'll shut up now.]

I'm in the mood for Christmas!

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmastime in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas
Children laughing, people passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmastime in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day

Strings of street lights even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures
Hear the snow crush see the kids rush
This is Santa's big scene
And above all this bustle you hear

Silver bells
(The corner Santa Claus)
Silver bells
(Is busy now because)
It's Christmastime in the city
Ring-a-ling
(It fills the winter air)
Hear them ring
(You hear it everywhere)
Soon it will be Christmas day

So anyway, I passed. [Eh but it's not as ecstasy-inducing as the 2B one.]

I got the SAME tester, Asis! He's like the nicest tester ever. You really don't have to remember the test route cos he'll tell you everything, he'll even tell you when to switch to centre lane, and when to stay in the lane, and all. He just rocks.

At the end he was like, "Banyak.." and I was like, Shit, Banyak mistakes? and he continued, "..improvement eh.. I still remember I took you the last time.. Bagus.."

TOtally! *jumps around*

To think it was macam raining before I left, and I was not in the greatest mood, etc. oooOOOooo but SSDC was fun, when I turned in, there was this riding instructor who smiled at me and told me not to look at the handlebars. Haha. And the Super Four guy from the last time asked if I was going for lesson or test. Loves my friendly fellow riders. HAHA.

Not to mention the cute mats around. So gonna miss them now. No more SSDC. No more CDC. For the next year, at least. Haha. Kalau panjang umur.

Well I was just rewarding myself for hitting the 1000-word mark. Byeee.

Aku giler. It's the middle of lab [which I haven't finished] and I'm sitting here blogging. I really think scary 2111 woman is gonna chase me down. So I better make this quick.

Actually I'm waiting for my reflux to be done. But saper tahu, maybe it exploded in my absence or something?

Haha.

Well, am gonna get kicked out of school anyway. And almost died this morning, SO not kidding. But it was partly my fault, so I shan't complain.

Pay's in! Time for Topshopppppp! Gahahaha. Aku giler. [Eh that's the second time I said that!]

Lapar, too. Wants Turkey Cranberry Christmas Sandwich! Yums! Can't wait to go store later then. Kalau takder, Lido. Kalau lagi takder, OP. Kalau MASIH takder, Wisma. If not, ValleyPoint la jawabnyeeerrr. Zat, here I come!!!

Okay I should leave now.

Saturday, November 04, 2006

Am sleepy like balls, but I'll just wait for subuh anyhows.

Lalalala. I thought work was fantastic today. Despite some POS-related hiccups. HAHA. Don't ask. And loves the fact that Noel is becoming merepek. Haha.

It's nice to know that some customers remember me. Even if they're macam, young, and suka memotek depan-depan counter.

Bumped into Zahdan who was at BK with his army buddies. Two of whom are really cute. Haha. Ohwell. oooOOOooo and one of Mat's cute friends was at store, he's really good-looking la! Finally, there was this CCD who looks kinda like what I think Lonerguy-lookalike looks like [not having seen him in person]. Too bad dier ada matair. Worse, too bad matair dier manjen.

I hung out at store after work, pasal macam hati berat to leave. Then I went to the Wheelock toilet. Where the guard first marah-marah aku for just walking in without macam, telling him what I was there for. Okay, marah-marah takper, aku faham. But then he continued talking!!! About Singapore's past turmoil, about the shitty agency guards, about mats and minahs [although he didn't use those exact words], about his FAMILY! Ya Allah. I was like standing there, hoping I wouldn't have to pee again. Finally at 245 he got a call to standby for his next station. Alhamdulillah. I mean, I understand that he has no one to talk to and stuff, I really do. But I'm not good at this sort of thing, and besides, I really wanted to go home, I was tired!

Ohwell. Blessing in disguise, maybe, cos when I got back to store, Naz's two friends were there preparing markout supper for themselves, and one of them is really cute!

Yes. Speaking of cute guys. The Lonerguy magic is gone. A drunk Lonerguy is really.. well, tak very pleasant to be with. Unless you are his drunk pompan-of-the-night. I mean, just because you're cute and banyak pompan suker kau, doesn't mean you have to spread the love.

But whatever floats your boat la, Lonerguy.

Damn. Now I have no one to go to school for. Da tak fun la!

[And Nat, stop macam, smiling enigmatically when Hady-lookalike talks to me. Nanti the WHOLE STORE tahu, buat malu sey! And I'm not like, in love with him or anything, so there's really no need for anyone to know. THANKS! :P]

Ohyeah. Smalam I went tanning [tak jadi] with Fan. After that was Vivo [saw everyone cute except for Sam] and shopping, where I found the guy of my dreams at Topman:

...Nampak gaya I won't be doing the draft today. Sorry, Belle.

Well, Lonerguy was here for the test today, yay! Crappy as usual, of course. Dier suker discuss the answers after the test though. PET PEEVE! Haha. And then he didn't join us for breakfast after. Bodoh. Baru ingat nak tunjuk dier Baby.

Speaking of Baby, niari it started fine, Alhamdulillah. Asalkan aku tak berpeluh maknanya it's a smooth ride la. Haha. And you know how easily I perspire, so it was great when I DIDN'T this morning! Yay.

Smalam lepas lecture we visited Mat at SB-TM, and after, I met this guy from myspace. *dies laughing* Didn't take me long to turn into Hanom, did it? [Sorry Hanom, I don't mean any offence by that!] He's cute la. But abit like a grown-up Hannan. I swear I don't know what's wrong with me, but guys keep reminding me of Hannan these days. Aperje.

Well, he's macam 28 but doesn't look as old la, at least not to me. So that's great. And I decided to give him a lift home, but then dah sampai, I realised nak kena isi minyak, so I asked him where the nearest Esso was. Well, you know, Kallang-Geylang area, so in the end dier yang bawak Baby to the Esso. And he very nicely paid. Like I said to Nat, "Tak pernah ada orang bayarkan duit petrol before!" [Then again, tak pernah ada kenderaan before this. Hehe.]

Got home at one, woke up at five, so I'm understandably in NO MOOD for school.
